We called Stride after we noticed standing water underneath our crawl space , and within a day we had Louis show up and confirm that we had a bursted pipe which caused the standing water. An honest plumber! My son's bathtub drain was draining slowly, and I used a small snake to take out some hair, but it still seemed to drain slower than I though it should. We had a running toilet for a week then added on a broken water valve next to the toilet for a constant leak. Put out a request for a plumber, originally to someone my brother used the day before and Yelp asked if I wanted to put it out to more prospects. I checked "yes." We live in an older condo that has many plumbing issues. We've come to rely on Stride Plumbing. It's a small business that is honest, efficient, reasonably priced, and a pleasure to work with. My spouse was very impressed when he learned that Chris is a journeyman plumber, on our first service call. When another location was purchased for a family member, we had Stride out to make several necessary repairs & installations. Last year, we survived a major water damage to our unit. The process involved our insurance company, our HOA, and a couple of other units in our building. We were billed over $400 by a company who were contacted by the HOA. They sent two guys out, who arrived when the Stride plumber was setting up to snake the drain. They checked out a pipe in the garage, which had already been checked, agreed that we were in good hands with everything under control, and left. Stride Plumbing and Drains (SPD) had been subcontracted to do some installation work (new kitchen sink, garbage disposal, dishwasher, bathroom sink, and associated water line & drainage related to those items). I wasn't home due to a conflicting Dr's appointment, so our plumber Louis, was greeted by our adult son, and between him and our General Contractor (GC), Louis was able to begin work installing the above listed items. I returned home 45 mins after his arrival. Louis confirmed all the items to be installed relayed by our GC, and provided a status update on everything he began workin on. Louis was careful to not disturb both installed and uninstalled cabinets scattered about our kitchen due to our remodel. He made as little disruptions as possible (as my wife works from home and is constantly on conference calls or virtual meetings and was just around the corner). Louis completed as much as he could with the unfinished remodeling work still to be done. He'll return to finish day 2 of 2 when he installs our bathroom vanity sink. Louis was very tidy during all his work and cleaned all debris upon completion. He also hauled away our appliance shipping boxes and styrofoam afterwards. I had my shower spout break so I looked Stride up on Yelp. Chris took my call wanting pics of my shower to match the replacement parts as close as he could.
