The facility itself is nice and up to date. I will say that the customer service SUCKS MAJORLY!!!! The cashiers at the entry point are nice, but it can get crazy on the nights with special pricing. The WORST part of this place is the kitchen. One night they refused to give me WATER....I ordered lots of food and I am a water lover. They refused to give me water is a cup. I was told I needed to pay $3/bottle for water for my family. I needed water mainly to take my prescription medicine!!!! I'm a disabled VETERAN. Also, today I waited FORTY MINUTES for an order of FRIES. It wasn't even busy I got here at 7pm, after I informed the manager "Jessica" she didn't express ANY apologies or offer me anything in return for the inconvenience. She just snarled at me and walked away. I work in the customer service industry as well and it is disturbing to be treated badly. I've been visiting weekly with my family for the past 3 months. Came here after my buddy got a groupon for 5 people and a pizza with bowling for 2 hours for $35. Pretty good deal ! The pizza was on point ! which surprised me thinking it would be somekind of microwave pizza. This bowling place is terrible!! We originally bought a groupon to use for this place but they have a "no groupon after 7pm rule" which was weird. Once we finally paid full price for a group of 4, we all went bowling and the lane wasn't working at all. We asked the employees for help but they just went and spoke to other employees. After 15 minutes of not playing at all(mind you we paid till 1 am), they move us to another lane but that was having problems as well so we finally had enough and just left. read more

The Tamarac Chamber just had a tournament with 80 bowlers and we had a great time. Friendly approachable staff that are very nice, everything went extremely well. New upgrades make this venue better, food and drinks are good but its people who make a difference. Highly recommended. read more

In just 6 short weeks I have to downgrade my review from 3 stars to 1. Since new ownership took over this center has definitely fallen into the crapper and is in serious decay. The telescore does not score properly and you always have to pay serious attention to the scoring. You are unable to reset the pins by yourself and half the time you are unable to make proper score adjustments without the help of front desk. There is always at least one broken pin on each pair of lanes. Since there is hardly any help roaming around you have to go look for help in clearing dead wood or other problems. Today the oiling machine broke and we had to bowl on very spotty lanes which proved to be a disaster. The snack bar is a total train wreck. I know of 2 bowlers that had to wait 1-2 hours for an order of fries. When one of those two started to use a bit of profanity and demanded the fries be comptd he was kicked out of the center and banned from it permanently. Now I do not condone the use of profanity however use a bit of common sense when dealing with your customer base. Now we have a lot of great bowlers who have lots of balls that are kept on the couches in the bwling circle. We all sit at the tables in the rear since nobody sits on these couches in the first place. Now you make an announcement that addtl balls are no longer allowed on these couches. Give me a break and pay more attention to the maintenance of all you equipment along with lane maintenance and not worry about balls on the couches. read more

This is a very hidden location. Once you find it, it's not in the best of neighborhoods. The inside is very run down and old. The bar and snack bar is the same way. They have domestic beers, good priced snacks. The pizza had those pin pricks in it that signify it is the least fresh pizza you can get. The service is really friendly, but the whole place is really old and cheese-y looking. I wouldn't come back to bowl here. Only because it's so old. Don't believe the reviews. This place was great! We got there around 7pm and after asking a million questions about additional players we got our lane with no problems. Turns out the had a small league going on today and other little groups so there weren't much availability for lanes. We had a Groupon and we added 2 more ppl for $5 each with no problem we told him we would probably need another lane, at first he didn't have one next to each other but then they were able to move some lanes around and bam we got our lanes next to each other. I felt like time went by fast but that is usually the case when you are having fun. I will definitely go back to this place again. We had our kids birthday party there a couple weeks ago, Trish was our party coordinator, along with the help of Victoria and Mark. We had a few hiccups with the parties bowling time and food and headcount for the kids, but they quickly helped up resolve things, and did everything they could to make it stress free for us. They were awesome! I understand it was an extremely busy day so the kids food took a while, and while waiting, our adult pizzas got cold, but the other food was great and kept warm. Once you're indoors, the place is great. not too busy where you can lose you kids in a crowd. The exterior of the property could use a facelift. We will definitely be back and recommend them for hosting kids parties or just group events. read more

We came here about 2 years ago for our youngest son birthday party. It was a good review. Came back today because we were gifted a Groupon for my friend. It's croweded but it's still pleasant. Just so you know if you get the food on the Groupon you tell the check-in lady what you need but you have to go to the food people to let them know because they won't know to bring it to your lane. I always make sure I give fair and balanced feedback. This morning we went to Strikers with a party of 8. We purchased a groupon which was an amazing value. We started bowling..after about 40 minutes in, the balls started to not to return to the lane. We waited and went to get other balls as we were on a 2 hour timed limit. We reported the issue, the young boys at the counter said they would fix it. Keeps happening where no balls were coming back. My husband found the manager and this guy was completely rude to him saying we had too many balls on the system. We then eliminated any extra balls (like 2) and then we were told not to bowl on the 2 lanes at the same time. That didnt work. Finally with 20 minutes left on our time we were moved to 2 other lanes...no problem with these lanes. Why couldn't the manager just be nice and switch us earlier? Why couldn't he be nice about it? Spent 160 on drinks and food, plus bowling a couple hours (44$) and spent 50$ at the arcade. Peter at the bar was phenomenal and great CS. We were short 12 points on prize and a manager (Joseph) wouldn't comp basically a .50 cent game to earn the points for a prize. First time at this place and it was a fun experience. There wasn't any waiting time and they have a lot of lanes. The place looked clean and well kept. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They also have a mini arcade gaming section, chuck-e-cheese style, for the kids. They also bring the food and drinks to your lane while you're playing so you won't interrupt your game, which i thought it was cool. They also have TV's so you won't miss out on your favorite sports game, which that's a plus. read more

Oooooh my hoodness, this joint is definitely a dive alley. Went here recently on a tuesday night for a family bowling get together and was taken aback by how inappropriate the environment was for family style outings. The parking lot was like a swap meet and one could easily play a drinking game where you take a shot every time you hear someone drop an n bomb. On the inside, the alley itself is ok, though it felt like it could use an update. The concession stand is subpar, but you can't really expect much at a bowling alley. I would say the pizza here is reminiscent of the kind of stuff one would be subjected to at a Chuck E Cheese. The biggest complaint I had was the ambience due to music. Playing trap style music is not appropriate for children, and some of the numbers being played were not edited. Every once in a while some innocuous pop number would be dropped in, but for the most part we're talking about music best suited for adults at the club, not families at a bowling alley. This place isn't totally without merit. I must say that the staff are over the top friendly and willing to help with any matters that may arise. Good place if adults want to do their thing and bowl, but not ideal for families with young children. read more

Came here one evening for a work bowling event. There is beer and alcohol which of course is nice. This bowling alley is just "ok" when it comes to ambiance and atmosphere. One issue we had was our lane was out of order for about 15 minutes. Since we were playing against each other we ended up way behind the other teams. It seemed like there were a lot of leagues as well as birthday parties. Fun enough but just missing that certain "oomph" that I've seen in other places. read more

Horrible, Incompetent management and Staff! My girlfriend and I used the groupon today. We walked in and were greeted by the stench of either death or dirty bowling shoes. The pizza you get is not bad and the snack bar guy was helpful, this is where it ends. So they had a group of about 20-30 adolescent kids waiting around at tableswaiting for an air force recruiting briefing. Myself being a former army ranger and OIF veteran said hmm ok although an odd setting. We sat at a table in front of our lane and started bowling. Around when we played our last game , a female associate asked us to move because she now had a big group and we were at the table ASSIGNED to their lane, oh really. First of all the tables are staggered and none of them are numbered corresponding with any lanes. We had been sitting there the entire time, but because we were 2 and they were many we were asked to move. If you are interested in the groupon I bid you good luck. Personally I might want to invest in a groupon to be waterboarded before I I should ver step fo ot in this slum again. Mondays and Tuesdays you can't get in for dollar night. Tonight (Thurs) we arrived at 11pm. Bar was already closed. Dying of thirst by midnight but they won't even give us a water. Wondering if they know bowling is a sport and you work up a thirst. If you can't even give your paying customers water, you probably shouldn't be open. You're not allowed to bring in drinks from outside. Probably won't be back. Update: the lane blacked out for 20 minutes. Left middle of game as we are sitting doing nothing dying of thirst. They should leave the free pizza off the Groupon offer. Super poor quality. I know, I know, IT WAS FREE. Just leave it out (one less thing to complain about) I've never been to a bowling alley that did not have designated seating for each lane. Instead there are loose round tables behind each lane with chairs. It's like a free for all. Other guest are able to remove chairs and move and hog tables. When we arrived to our lane a group of 3 teens greeted us " this is our table." To which we promptly corrected them, the table is directly behind our lane. We called over a lane attendant who finally move them to their table. Moved the random non playing family of 9 eating and watching 3 others play. We proceeded to start our bowling adventure by clearing the shoes left by the previous bowlers. Cleaning our own table with a bottle of cleaner and dirty rag we found by the game room. Remove the assortment of extra bowling balls from the return left by the previous bowlers. FINALLY we head over to ball rack to find a assortment 8-10 balls to choose from. This place is poorly managed, dirty and CANNOT handle any sort of crowd. read more

Great experience, I was a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but I'm glad I noticed most of the negative reviews were before remodeling and some of the negative reviews made no sense (They wouldn't let you bring your own pizza?? Really--we're giving establishments that sell food low ratings because they don't let you bring your own food--hilarious. Someone else mentioned that it's located in a questionable neighborhood. I didn't get that feeling at all.). The staff was very helpful and helped the kids and my elderly mother-in-law find the perfect sized ball. The food staff was friendly also and the pizza was what you're used to at Chuck E Cheese or movie theaters. Needless to say my kids didn't leave any. We were there on a packed day--lots of families and a kid's camp, but we got a lane as soon as we got there. All I can say is glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews. Horrible experience, bad customer service and crowd. Drove 45 minutes with family and a baby and was told we would be taken care of because the wait at that point was an hour. They claim they could be sued because the food comes from outside however they allow cakes from the outside. Completely ridiculous and not accommodating. I found this place via Groupon. It's not the fanciest of bowling allies but guess what the kids LOVED IT!! If you are looking for a place to go have fun with your kids this is the place. And the staff were very helpful and accommodating. There is ample parking and they have a bar and cafeteria in case you get the munchies. All in all I would definitely be back for a second visit. The only reason they didn't get five stars was because the shoes were not the best but then again they are rentals. read more
