I've been here before but hadn't visited in quite a while, so I was pleasantly surprised to see some updates since my last trip. I checked online pricing and found it a bit expensive for two people on a Sunday, but after looking further, I discovered a great deal that included an hour and a half of bowling, shoe rental, a pizza, and soda for up to six people. Even though it was just the two of us, the price was the same, which made it a good value. When we arrived, it took a little while for someone to come to the front desk, but it seemed like he may have been the only employee working at the time, so it wasn't a big issue. He checked us in, got our shoes, and sent us to our lane. I was bowling with a child, so we used the bumpers, which automatically popped up during her turns. Unfortunately, one of the bumpers was slow to come up and took about a minute each time, which caused us to lose some bowling time waiting for it to adjust. The scoring screens offered several different graphics, which was fun to try out. After about an hour and fifteen minutes of bowling, I buzzed the front desk to ask about our pizza and drinks. They were brought out shortly after, and the staff mentioned they had forgotten them. The pizza was actually pretty good for bowling alley food--large, crunchy, and topped with big pepperoni slices. Overall, despite a few minor issues, we had a fun day and I would definitely go back.

They are still my favorite and the most affordable bowling option in Broward. They have all you can bowl options almost daily with pricing that includes shoe rental. The prices are $10 per person now and no longer $8, but still the best deal you can find. Recent upgrades to their scoring screens that include a variety of games and stat tracking are top notch. They do offer, cheap and strong drinks as well as reasonably priced snack bar food.

Came here twice so far. There isn't much to do in Florida and you can't beat going bowling. Wanted to get away from the crowds and was happy to have come here. It's definitely a blast from the past with the nostalgic interior. But that's what makes it. There was a good steady flow of people coming in and out. Music was cool. Restrooms are clean. Shoes werent too shabby. Went for the second time yesterday. And finished our hour before the rockin bowl where the lights are off. The projectors, cool lights, dj and explicit music starts. I'll definitely come back for that soon. The pizza wasnt so bad. Not sure if they have BBQ sauce or ranch on the side but I'll probably ask.

I have been to Strikers several times over the years. A few times for birthday parties and a few times for work team building activities. Our team had an outing this afternoon and I was surprised by a few things.. 1. The tables had napkins with our company colors. 2. The food table had a nice sign welcoming up with our company logo and some balloons. 3. They had a vegan option that WASN'T just a salad and French fries....they had the beyond meat burger served in a vegan naan bread. I had a choice of salad or fries. The "burger" was cooked perfectly. The rest of the team had pizzas and wings. They all seemed to enjoy it and it was nice that they put out different sauces for everyone. The woman taking care of us (along with all other staff we came in contact with) was super friendly and kept us happy, fed and kept the drinks filled. The bowling alley itself is a little dated, but it was clean and the lanes are well kept. We had no issues with the computers and the music was fun. All in all, we had a great time and I would definitely plan on going back in the future.

Atmosphere was great!!! Had a great time and happy we got a pretty good deal 8-10 for a set price including shoes! Perfect.

While searching on Groupon for something, I came across Striker's Family Sportscenter. We are from out of town and we were looking for something fun to do. I searched for reviews and saw that it had good reviews. When we arrived, the outside didn't look like a place where families would go to have fun. I started doubting and didn't know if we should turn around and return back to the hotel but told my husband "let's go inside and see how it looks". Glad we did. Right away, I could tell it has been cleaned. It smelled like they have been cleaning. We stood there for a lil while and finally had to ask the girl who was dealing with the bowling balls if she could have someone help us. She called someone through the radio. Honestly, I shouldn't have had to tell her anything. She saw us there. She looked right at us. And the sign said to wait there for assistance. Finally the other girl tells us to come to the counter. I tell her I have a Groupon and she scanned it from my phone. She asked us for shoes sizes. The smallest shoe size is 8 so my youngest one who will be 3, she wears size 6 but had to wear the 8 because that's the smallest they had. The shoes were given to us wrapped up in a plastic bag so you can tell they had been cleaned. We go to lane 10 and get set up. The Groupon deal we had was for 2 hours up to 5 people, shoe rental and a large 1 topping pizza for $43.00. Not bad. I had requested to have the bumpers up for the first two names (the little ones) and I also requested the ramp so the little ones could use it when their turn was up. The pizza came out halfway through the first game and it wasn't too bad. My husband purchased 3 small drinks and it was around $6 and some change. They had the families spread out. We didn't have anyone at either side of us, the next family was in lane 8 and we were in lane 10. The bathrooms were cleaned but the thing I found weird was that the stalls didn't have a little trash can how most bathroom stalls have. We were there for almost 2 hours. We ended up leaving at the end of the last game and we have maybe 15-20 minute left but we were done. I do recommend this place and again when you see the outside, don't let it fool you. They should really do something about the outside area.

BOWLING WITH FRIENDS…read more.. The night proved to be an entertaining experience with unlimited play for $20.00 and includes a pair of those anti bacterial bowling shoes - well they were free. We had eight players and two lanes which provided a quick turnover of play. I did horrible my first two games then redeemed myself the last game with throwing a few back2back strikes with an explosion of cheers from the sidelines. There was a kiddie arcade and simple bar food available. Someone really needs to have management lower the prices on tap beer. A mug of Voodoo Ranger brew was at an obscene $11.83, and a domestic beer was only a buck cheaper. Cmon, this is a mediocre bowling alley serving beer in a dead bar that is more pricey than the lounge at the Hilton. Anyways, fun times tonight with friends and I will return to bowl without beer.

We came on a Wednesday night, where unlimited games from 7-12 midnight was only $20, and this included shoes. We played for about 2 hours and everyone enjoyed themselves. Food and alcohol is served at this location, although no-one from the group ate, we all had a few drinks each, and they were great. They have a nice selection on mixed drinks on the menu, which I like as sometimes you crave a good fruity cocktail. The reason for my 3 stars is the place didn't seem all too very clean, and when we arrived at our lanes, the belt was filled with bowling balls, both lanes! Which made me think they were all utilized but never cleaned, or sanitized after the last group left. Also, as I was handed my shoes, I didn't see the cashier's spraying/ sanitizing them, and when i returned them, same thing: not sprayed, just taken and put back onto the shelves. We had a great time still.

Still would not recommend as no one inherently knows they're not the same thing. AG Bowling and their treatment of customers is a direct reflection of AMF being under the same roof. AMF, raise your customer service standards and hold everyone accountable. You do not get a free pass for being a 3rd party vendor. We've been going here for 3 years. Today is our last day coming. Specifically because of the rude, bald man in the ball shop. He lacks basic human communication skills, he has ZERO customer service training and he acts like he has to spit shine the balls himself. My husband's ball was absolutely destroyed by the ball return on lane 10 today. I went to the front to complain, which I NEVER do, but this has never happened to us. I told her that I wanted to bring it to their attention, as well as check if they offer some sort of polishing service. Not for free, not comped, just a service offered, period. I was going to pay to have my husbands ball polished. The woman was beyond kind, took me seriously, apologized and then brought me over to the little ball office where the bald man works. As soon as the woman explained what happened, he immediately denied it happened and accused me of lying. He said the scratch marks were old cause they were black. The ball kept returning to us blacker and blacker and my husband kept having to clean his ball between throws. This polishing act obviously will make the grease fill the new scratch marks. That's when we started to notice more. It ended up getting stuck for the third and final time. It came back with 7 new scratches and a glob of like tar or oil. At this point we knew it was the ball return doing this and not us just noticing old scratch marks. It was absolutely asinine that this rude bald man said we made it up. We didn't make anything up, we're normal people who like to bowl. I explained this and he said "well why didn't you bring it as soon as you noticed?" We did... that's what this conversation is. If I brought it with 1 scratch mark, you'd deny it and call me a liar. If I came with more, like I am now, you'll deny it and call me a liar. It's obvious it's your equipment. Ironically my husband bought all 3 of his balls from this rude bald man. All we wanted was acknowledgement that it happened, and to polish the ball. Again, not for free. This entire negative interaction was completely unnecessary and unwarranted. Let's practice for next time: "Hey I'm sorry that happened. I'll gladly take it, it just might take 2 weeks due to the damage. It costs x amount. Next time, if you happen to notice earlier, bring it to us asap, so it doesn't get worse." Super easy, but you'd have to have the brain cells and the capacity to do so, right? This guy is a Neanderthal and could never. He was rude, reluctant, abrasive, defensive and condescending. He shouldn't work with people, or interact with the public in any capacity for that matter. I wouldn't recommend this shop in any capacity, and I wouldn't interact with this rude bald man if I had a gun to my head. If you decide to bowl here, use their balls and let those get ruined without responsibility or care.

So do whatever your flavor is lol There's a great little sports bar attached, Sports Den Pub that has great newer TV's and looks like it's a good time with regular type locals for popular sporting events. The Alley has 20! Lanes built in late 1950's and has all the classic makings of a regular old bowling alley. Everything seemed to be in excellent shape except for the bowling balls. Many were very beaten up, had massive pitting, and many could use replacement. However, I was able to find a couple of good balls and challenge my elderly father to the best of three games. -We had no problem setting up the games or with scoring. (My 86 year old Dad beat me BTW) lol :/ Games were $16 each with bowling shoes included. That is about the going rate that we would pay up in the tri-state, New England area these days. So last night My friend and I and his two kids decided to try this place out for the first time,…read moreand to say we had a bad experience is putting it extremely light on my part. First of all it's not a "real" bowling alley it's pins on a string that reset being pulled up and down, the lanes are smaller and very tightly together, not my favorite personally, I like the sound and feel of real pins, but that wasn't what made it a bad experience, we were there so the kids could have fun. So we get there right before 9 on a Saturday night, nobody is on the front counter or "bar" to help us out get a lane, waited about 5 minutes and someone showed up, asked us if we had reservations for a lane, told them no we just walked in, he got us a lane, we decided to play for 2 hour since 1 might just be to fast for the kids to enjoy themselves. This was probably the most expensive bowling alley I've ever been to, they charged me $100 for 4 people with shoes, and when I told him one was a 5 year old kid, it didn't matter because the price was the same. Fine we paid and got assigned a lane. We get to the lane and the machine to put the bowlers name is not working, wouldn't let us edit it, it when we asked for help another girl that worked there just handed me a piece of paper and told me to write the names In order and she'll do it from the computer on the desk... Uhmm ok. So after we played our first game we decided to get some snacks and drinks, went over to the counter to ask if I could get a menu, the girl told me that the kitchen was closed, I looked at my watch it was about 9:45, said that the kitchen closes at 10 and they are no longer making any food.... now remember it's Saturday night! Ok.. that was annoying specially since everybody likes to snack at bowling alleys, walked over to the bar, nobody there. Waited... looked around... nothing! Probably could've gotten drinks myself and no one would've cared. Came back to my lane... sorry they are all closed. Started playing our second game. In the middle of our game, the lights came on fully bright as to tell us they were about to close and this was about 10:15, the girl from the counter was walking around collecting balls and just totally making us feel uncomfortable as we played, it felt like they were trying to get us to leave so they can close and go about their business. So I asked her can you please dim the lights, we're in the middle of our game. To which I get, I'm sorry we have to start cleaning up, that is what made our experience a really terrible one. I would not recommend this place to anyone, there are a lot of better bowling alleys out there that are nowhere near as overpriced as this place. Zero costumer service, and Zero fun experience. Anyway, I had called early in the week after checking out their website. I guess I asked the wrong question as I didn't get that you could make a reservation. Oops! Instead I ended up calling again last Saturday and showing up. All through this, I spoke to Tom, who was a real kind gentleman. Turns out I learned that you can reserve, so long as you pay when you do so. Had no idea. My wires simply short circuited somewhere. That squared away, the three of us (boyfriend, his daughter, and I) showed up early Saturday afternoon. Around 5 PM. We opted to play three games and ended up being there around two and a half hours. Around 6:15 PM, the entire ambiance changed. There was a small party who had reserved for a birthday, and well, it went from daytime bowling to a night of disco. Everything was glow in the dark with music. It was so much fun! The little one especially enjoyed it. Aside from bowling, they have some arcade games and a photo booth. To use either you need to get a card, and well, good thing I asked. We kept trying to swipe our cards at the photo booth and had no luck. Once we resolved this, we finished our evening with some photo strips. Oh, and before I forget, they sell food as well. Fairly typical stuff like chicken tenders and fries, which weren't bad at all. Overall, it had been a really long time since I had gone bowling and it really showed. Not to mention that I never was the best at bowling to begin with. Still, we enjoyed ourselves and I somehow managed to win two out of the three games much to my shock. Will definitely return.
