Parking is available in the back. When I came in, Tess greeted me and ended up showing me around the store! It features an amazing assortment of fun, locally made, crafty artsy items like magnets, cards, clothes and much more. It's really pretty large and quite fun to explore. I bought artsy, unique, colorful Maryland and DC fridge magnets because my fridge door is not quite full and we love the area. Lucy helped us on our second visit and was also gracious and welcoming. They have a large assortment of in-house made flavorings for lattes so my wife was very happy. My pure double espresso hit the spot and got me going! When I saw the store front of this place from a distance, I wanted to jump the curb, drive through the cars and park inside the store. I must admit the lines are long but that's also due to Covid restrictions so I won't complain. It's well worth the wait for the variety and quality of items found. Don't do warranty work here. I had a diagnostic done on a hybrid battery component. This Hyundai's…read more12-v battery was acting up, but it's unusual because it's actually part of the hybrid battery pack, not a normal lead-acid setup. This makes it verifiably covered under Hyundai's 10/100k hybrid battery warranty. They held the car for a week, wouldn't return calls, and then told me the 12-v battery was bad. All of this for $220, which they said they'd refund if it became a warranty job. I asked for the diagnosis codes and got nothing. They said they sent it to Hyundai Corporate for a warranty claim and got rejected. My guess is they just sent Corporate a note saying the 12-v was bad, and corporate assumed it was a normal lead-acid, which wouldn't be covered. A few months later I took the car to an independent mechanic, and later another local Hyundai dealership. Both found codes that clearly pointed to this problem. The new dealer is now doing the work under warranty with no questions, and never asked for money up-front (giving them 5 stars!). I'm not even sure College Park Hyundai did anything at all other than hold my car for a week, waste my time, and then charge me for it.
