Very quick friendly service. The chicken fingers were smaller than I thought but pretty good. The dipping sauce for the chicken was so good. I loved the little bit of spice I tasted! First timer here, my wife LOVED their shoestring fries and I thought their pinto beans were great. I liked that their ketchup came in a little to-go container. I used the drive-thru. The wait wasn't too long and the service was quick and friendly. We ordered the large bacon, egg, potato, and cheese burritos. One with green chile and one with red chile. May I say, the burritos were HUGE! Excellent amount of food for the price. I loved, or at least, really enjoyed the burrito with green chile. My wife liked it, but was thrown off by the green chile. To be fair, she is not a big fan of spice/heat. Neither of us enjoyed the burrito with red chile; the flavor of the red chile was too overpowering for us. I was able to eat it all, it just wasn't my preference. PSA: we are rather recent transplants from Texas, so we are very new to the world of chile and don't really know what to expect when it comes to flavors, textures, etc. I personally am very excited to explore the world of chile more in our new home state! I was in ABQ for work, and stopped here for lunch one day. It's on Gibson near the VA Medical Center. I was pleasantly surprised. Nice and clean and pleanty of seating. I ordered a large carnitas burrito with red chili. Service was fast and the staff very professional and courteous. My burrito was huge, about the size of a small baby (just kidding). It was very delicious and very filling. I also ordered a carne asada breakfast burrito to eat on my flight home the next day. I was equally delicious. I'm definitely coming back on my next business trip to ABQ and I highly recommend. read more

I tried a regular number 6 chicharon Burrito smothered in red and green.. Both of the chili's were tasty although the green was more of a sauce with bits and pieces of green chili sporadically spread through the sauce. I also ordered fries. The small shoestring was plenty. In all fairness were probably very good but didn't eat till I got home so were a bit soggy. I'm sure they would be good if eaten fresh. read more

This morning, 5/3/2025, I placed an online order. I arrived to pick up my order and a Hispanic lady with a hair bun (I assume is the manager) was very rude. She literally threw my burrito on the counter as I picked up my food. I proceeded to ask if I may order a large coffee and she rudely replied, "You already paid for your burrito, you have to pay for your coffee!". I stated I understand I will pay for my coffee. Upon handing my coffee over to me, she left about an inch and a half gap from the rim to the middle of the cup. I requested the coffee be filled at least near the rim. She grabbed my coffee and filled the coffee to the rim, then walked away. Not a thank you, have a nice day, or a smile! She was very rude. This place was suggest by a gentleman I was taking to lunch. I like the fact that a portion of their proceeded is donated to the VA. I will say that the parking lot and the drive they were full through the duration of my lunch. I opted to have their Carne Adovada burrito and green chili fries. While the burrito was good I loved the fries. Over all I enjoyed the food and would liked to have tried other items. I would definitely go again. You order at the counter they give you a number and bring your order to you. They are really good at refilling your drinks and making sure all is well. read more

When in Rome order Chinese food, right? Wait, what...? My first time, and though I was planning on ordering their namesake, the giant sign that read "Famous" chicken sandwich just lured me in like a fat man to French fries! It was good I tell ya! Real good! The fries? Meh, kind of thin with that old McDonalds' coating they infamously tried several years back and wisely reversed course on. Also, though this is trivial and seems petty, unlike their sister down the road, they do NOT give military discounts. What's up with that? The service was good though, a la Chick-fil-A, they bring it to your table. However, unlike their sister restaurant down the road, it's not full service, so why the tip jar on the counter is beyond me. There's not a "Fast Food" joint on Earth that you tip at, so why they think they should be any different is a tad puzzling. I was so thrilled to find Stripes a few years ago. The food was excellent. Now it's hit or miss, I have been served cold food more times than one should. Today was the last straw. Ordered a couple of their chicken sandwiches for lunch, one individually the other a combo. The individual sandwich was piping hot. The combo sandwich was cold, so were the fries. I got it to go and didn't notice until we got home. If you order takeout from here, check the temp before you leave. read more

If you like infant sized burritos, buy a large. If you've been to Stripes Biscuit Co, you already know that the food you are about to eat at Stripes Burrito Co is going to be delicious. From my experience, you are not wrong. There are your standard breakfast choices (chorizo, bacon, sausage) with red or green Chile, and lunch choices like barbacoa, carnitas, etc. All of the burritos are packed full of flavor and insanely filling. The burritos, however, were not well incorporated so you may get a bite of cheese, then a bite of sauce, then meat. If they can smooth that out, this place will be an insane and delicious place with great value! So, we love all things Stripes! My husband served in the Air National Guard, and I am just a flag waiving American, thankful for this Country, and willing to support businesses who hold that value. It doesn't hurt when that business also sells ADDICTIVE biscuits and gravy too....yum! But today, hubby had to do a job down in Los Lunas, so he stopped in to get us 2 Spicy Chicken Sammiches on his way back up to Rio Rancho. Went in today to get two takeout burritos to enjoy while I watch NFL all day. Oh Dios Mio the Chicharrones Burrito. I just got the regular for $6. It was very big. Best Chicharrones I ever had? Oh yes definitely. Well these and Cecilias Cafe downtown but oh they are perfection here. Got them with a nice flavorful green Chile. It is a focused menu which gave me confidence it would be good. One of the worst breakfast burritos I've ever eaten. Like whoever cooked it had no idea what they were doing.

Let me start by saying I take my family here often but not anymore. My kids and I went here for lunch today only to bite into a taco and find a piece of metal about an inch long in the barbacoa. I took it right in to the manager who passed me on to Victor Sanchez(owner of stripes). He offered me a refund as my mouth was still full of blood... He quickly said there is no metal in his kitchens and blamed it on the distribution company. Upon telling him this is a Suable offense he laughed and quickly said have my lawyer contact the distributor. I will say the assistant manager handled this so great but as for the owner not even close. I contacted the distributor but at the end of the day this falls on Victor. To have an owner laugh at something that could have killed my kids is just wrong. read more
