We recently attended a class and once we received our little box with the VIP passes, we discovered that we didn't have everything that was supposed to be in the pass. We didn't have our dinner that the description said we would. We called the company and they were nothing put rude to us. Saying that the dinner was not free, and that they meant to say "access" not free. I went back to the website to find the word "access" and i did not find it. They even said they had not updated their website since January. Please do us a favor and update your stuff before promoting it. I suggest anyone interested in this class, call the place and make sure you are getting what you are paying for! The class itself was good. Very fun! read more

Great class with an excellent instructor. She made me feel very comfortable with everything. I thought that as a 59 year old grandma I would be out of place, but I was very comfortable and my husband was happy with some of the dance moves I learned. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and high heels really do make the class better. The only bad thing was check in. I showed up and showed my ticket at the Showgirl bar. The bar tender was rude. When I asked about the free drink I was told I would have to show my ticket to someone else. At the end of the class I got no t-shirt and no free picture (for $75 I thought for sure I would get a drink, t-shirt and picture). I raised enough of a stink the manager finally comp'ed my picture and admitted I should have gotten the drink. When I went out to get my drink the manager had spoken to the bartender and she was even snottier than before as she gave me the drink. I would recommend the class, but feel the staff at the V theater needs to learn better customer service. read more

A friend made reservations to this place for a bachelorette weekend. When I initially visited the Stripper 101 webpage I was super excited to take the class. Many reviews spoke of the drink that comes with the reservation, a group picture and just an overall good time. I nor any member of my group had a positive experience. It was AWFUL. Our reservation was for a private class for seven ladies. I was expecting a professional, clean pole dancing studio. The reality was less than stellar. Our class was held in a dark, hot partitioned room. Half of the room looked like it was used for a magic show and the side we were on looked like an Extra Space Storage room. There was no place to put our handbags and jackets the instructor told us to place them on the floor in the back. As I previously stated this was supposed to be a private experience, so when we got dressed and ready to go we requested to dance to Beyoncé or some hip hop type music. In addition to our music request, we requested the temperature in the room be adjusted because the heat was insane. The instructor advised us that she was a "rocker" type girl and there was going to be no hip hop music. With some hesitation and disappointment we got started. We began the first simple moves and moments later we were sweating. It was so hot the bride actually had to sit down due to the heat. We tried to continue the class but the music sucked, it was hot as heck and the bride was feeling ill due to the heat. We left about halfway thru the class. The instructor gave us our stripper licenses and we departed downstairs. The host, Maria gave us a business card that we could call on Monday to talk out our experience but there was nothing she could do. I left feeling like it was a total waste of time. No drinks. Looking into booking Chippendales, I stumbled on Stripper101. Free Chppendales tix with the purchase of pole dancing lessons! Why not?! The checking in process @ the box office was a breeze and the girl that helped me was very nice, sorry I didn't get her name! The girl that greeted us & took our pictures was horrendous. She didn't smile and seemed like she hated being there. Too bad for her, we were still gonna have a good time! Once we were back in the room, we were just silly and really tried not to hurt ourselves! Our instructor "Snow White" was good at her job and was nice enough to not shake her head at us all! It was fun but I was a bit annoyed that we were the 1st to be there but ended up having to share poles and the people that showed up late got their own poles because they were a little faster & aggressive than we were. Oh whatever, it was silly fun for us but I think some of these girls were really serious about the class! read more

I was a bit cautious about trying this class, because I was brought up in a very conservative family. We should be quite and reserved, always. But, I got a new husband and a new life, so I figured what the hell. He's hot, so I should be too! Our hotel concierge said no worries...there's no nudity, no embarassment, no men allowed anywhere near the class; so everythings safe (in a shopping mall after all). Wow! The class instructer was a real stripper from one of the 'gentlemens' clubs, and she knew her stuff. I saw and learned things i'd only heard about before. Patrick (husband) couldn't take his eyes off me when I tried them at home. Hands too. Trust me. Best investment I ever made. read more

we went here as a bachelorette party and were lucky enough to have pony as our instructor! she was so entertaining and very helpful! it was a little disappointing that they sold more tickets than they had poles though. there were girls that came in after our party and took our poles so then some of us that were there on time had to share a pole. if i am paying full price for a class i expect to have my own pole the entire time read more

It was so fun. We went for a bachelorette party and had such a great time. Whether you've done any sort of stripping/pole dancing before or you are completely new to it, it's a totally relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. LD was our instructor and she was amazing. She was a great teacher and so funny. I walked in feeling pretty unsexy (I was battling a stomach bug and ear infections), but once class started I was able to forget about that and let loose. I left the class considering signing up for some pole dancing classes... I would definitely suggest it whether it's a special occasion or you just want to learn some sexy moves. read more

Went because I had a groupon. I'd say skip it. Really didn't learn anything useful. Went over basic chair dance. Then pole dance. Would have been better to concentrate on one or the other and practice so u could actually put it in use. Preferably the chair dance because everyone has a chair but not a pole. Drink upgrade was not a drink really, little alcohol if any....so if you go, skip that too. Take a bottle of water. First class was cancelled so I waited 1.5 hr for next class... Comped me one of the non-drink-drinks....useless. Left my Maui Jim glasses in cubby, called for them to check and get them for me. Said they would call me back, never did. So that's $200 glasses MIA....Spent more time watching the stripper pole dance than learning anything. How could you not watch and wish you could do that stuff?? Then she had a tip jar... Seriously...???? Basically a glorified workout class if you really put the effort into it--nothing more. Expensive lesson for me and 3+ hours of my life I'll never get back... read more

Our instructor Kindra was terrific, but our front of house experience was very disorganized. We bought the What Women Want package, which included the class, a souvenir photo, the Vegas V-card, a drink voucher, tickets to a show and a few other coupons for $100. Overall, the package was a great deal. Since our class was on the second day of the trip and the show was on the first, we were told (more than once) we could pick up our package anytime after 9 am. Unfortunately, we were told they weren't ready and would have to come back after one. At one, the packages still weren't ready, so someone had to assemble them while we waited. Luckily, we realized before we left that we had the wrong show tickets and the box office was able to fix it. We also realized later that our drink vouchers were missing (again, after bringing it to the attention of the box office, those were (somewhat reluctantly) provided. The class itself was fun and entertaining - exactly what you want for a Vegas bachelorette party. read more

So much fun! I'm really glad my friends and I decided to do this. Yes, we felt a tad silly, but it was definitely fun. I only wish we'd spent a little more time on the lap dance portion. We recently took the class for a bachelorette party. We had 16 people and were promised and paid for a private class. That didn't happen. They stuffed two other parties in with us.NO one really had enough time on the pole. If you were on the perimeter you had no room to move, because the people who were waiting there turn, were in your way. The instructor was good, not much fun, the drinks, t-shirt and picture were cute. But as Mother of the Bride I feel they misrepresented the package. read more

Don't waste your time!!!! This was THE biggest rip off. I went to Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago with 13 other girls and we all took this class the first day we arrived. First of all, the cocktails at the "Stripper bar" prior to the class tasted like they had NO alcohol in them whatsoever. My vodka/cran tasted like straight cran. When it was time for the "stripper class" we were all ushered into this private little room full of stripper poles. It is actually located in the V theater off to the side. Although the woman teaching the class was comical, I hardly learned anything impressive. The "lap dance" section was actually more entertaining then the "pole" section. I mean, it doesn't take talent to do a basic spin around the pole with your hand. To make it even better, there was a show going on in the theater and all I could hear was the loud sound effects/music from the show! Wow, now that sounds sexy and fun huh? Maybe that's because the little boom box playing music for us didn't really cut it. Finally, the class literally felt like it was 20 min. MAYBE 30 min. long max... def. not worth the $50 that was spent. I can only imagine how much money these people made on us AND the other 15-20 + girls in there. read more

My girlfriends took me here as part of my bachelorette party weekend and it was SO FUN. We wore work-out clothes (shorts) and heels. I felt a little silly at first, but our "teacher" was totally cool, made us feel comfortable. She taught us one lap dance routine and one pole routine. The pole stuff was hard! JUST SO YOU KNOW TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE! I learned that the hard way, it is not stated very clearly ANYWHERE on the website what their cancellation policy is. It is however in very tiny print on the bottom of the credit card authorization form. I had prepaid for 8 tickets, about $330 for my bachelorette party, and everyone ended up bailing on me, so I emailed them asking if I could cancel and that I was trying to find their cancellation policy on their website but couldn't find it anywhere. They told me no and that there was nothing they could do for me, so I'm out $330. Fabulous customer service....not! Plus the prices are such a ripoff and they charge you a $7 box office fee on top of it all. Not worth it in my opinion. read more
