My first visit, I chose pick up instead of delivery. I ordered an x-large with 5 toppings, and a garden salad with celery added: $27, roughly. The price is higher than a chain, but once you factor in size, quality, and delivery charges it's still very comparable and worth the price. They have a number of good specials, as well as a loyalty program if you order online. It's not bad: it's not the greatest pizza I've ever had, but it's certainly not bad. The sauce is a bit sweet for my taste, but the topping choices are excellent, and fresh, and the garlic butter on the crust is delicious. The staff is friendly and efficient, my order was ready right on time according to the order projection. The pizza wasn't as hot as I'd like-it wasn't cold, but I prefer a really hot, "napalm cheese" pizza. The salad is HUGE, easily enough for three people, so excellent for sharing among a family or group. Salad is very fresh and tasty, and the balsamic vinaigrette dressing is very good. So I hate leaving bad reviews, let's just start with that. There is a pizza place by my boyfriends house in Yucaipa that has vegan cheese that we are actually in the delivery perimeter for, but we choose to drive out to Redlands to get pizza from strongman. Look the regulars... I'm the #1 check in regular here, its obvious I like the pizza. However, I don't like being ripped off! I have ordered pizza here once a week for the past month and a few times before that as well. We like strongman pizza, the sauce is good and they have vegan cheese which is fantastic. We get the carry out special EVERY TIME we order which is $10 for a large 3 topping pizza. They charge us $4 to add vegan cheese (a little much but okay, sure, whatever). After taxes and everything it comes out to $15.28, not too shabby. Today after ordering and hearing on the phone that that's what the price would be, $15.28 just to remind you, I walked in to pay $17.28. When I came back to bring this up the younger guy who worked there told me that's the price and they don't honor the carry our price with the addition of vegan cheese because of how expensive vegan cheese is... It's not... I work at Whole Foods, we order daiya for our pizza too and fun fact: we don't charge extra for it!! It was frustrating because the employee didn't seem to believe me when I told him how much we usually pay, even though I've ordered ONCE A WEEK PLUS SOME CHANGE FOR THE PAST MONTH. So, our pizza just arrived not 30 minutes ago (10/28/2015) and I already felt compelled to write this review. 5 stars hands down. We just arrived into our hotel earlier today driving from Sacramento, and wanted an easy meal. Came across Strongman Pizza through here and thought it sounded good, so we gave it a shot. I mentioned we just arrived at the Comfort Suites we were staying at while I looked at what the cross streets where, placed my order, and the pizza came about 30 later. When the delivery guy came (totally blanking on your name...James?), he had the pizza in hand, along with plates, napkins, and some forks. I realize how small of a gesture that is, but I'll be damned if it wasn't appreciated because that's everything we were missing! He brought those items because I had mentioned we just got in not too long before, so he "thought it might be nice to have, and easier to eat with" haha. I just recently for the first time ordered strongman pizza at the request of the girlfriend. That's the pizza was fine, Even though it did give me heartburn. I wouldn't of thought much about it but I have never had heartburn eating pizza before. Whether the heartburn and strong man's pizza is tied together I cannot say for sure. Our delivery driver was late which he was genuinely apologetic and it truly seems that it was no true fault of his which is why I'm not trying to blame him and give him a bad review either. I was in the neighborhood attending the Redlands Christmas Parade and decided to try Strongman Pizza. Wow. This place did not disappoint. It's a small delivery/pick-up pizza joint, but it reminds me of old school pizzerias. Pizza is delicious. Highly recommend the buffalo chicken pizza. There will not be any crust butts to throw away because the entire pizza is delicious. If you are a Redlands local you are lucky because they will deliver it to you. If your not a local and you are searching Yelp for a legit pizza this place is worth a drive. I know I will be making the drive out there on Pizza Night from now on. read more

The pizza here is so delicious!! The service is great and they prepare the pizza pretty quickly.. It's not a sit down place but there is a cute seating area you can walk to to enjoy your pizza off of Main and 5th street. The prices are affordable!! I think this is one of the better take out/delivery pizza places in the area. They are on the pricier side, but the crust, quality, and delivery more than makes up for it. They blow all of the chain pizza places (papa john, dominos, and pizza hut) out of the water. They seem to use good quality ingredients and the end products shows. We have also used them multiple times for delivery and they are great. Timely and so far no messed up orders. I would not hesitate to recommend Strongman Pizza. read more

I have been a customer if this place since it opened. Great pizza! We love the Islander and can't go wrong with the pepperoni pizza. The reason for the 2 stars is because of Kaylena. She has the WORST customer service. Upon arrival, she didn't even greet me just asked if I was picking king up and what my name was. Super rude, she cold have at least said hi, then she went to the back for my pizza, brought it to the front with my receipt asked if I wanted pepper and cheese, tossed it on my pizza boxes,then walked away from me without a " have a nice day" or smile or thanks or anything! We've decided to nickname this place Limp Wrist Pizza. The only pizza related item I've eaten recently that was worse than this place is the Flatizza from Subway. We ordered two pepperoni pizzas and obviously we were very disappointed. The crust was thin, dense and tasteless, the sauce tasted like it was canned, the mozz was decent, but the pepperonis were wafer thin. In our house pizza leftovers usually do not last beyond 24 hours, but 3 days later we ended up feeding these pizzas to our dogs because no one wanted to eat them. I imagine this business will end up going by the wayside within 5 years just like most other restaurant startups who think they can stay in business by serving garbage ingredients sloppily prepared & served for a few shillings less than a good restaurant. read more
