Whether it was a simple one-room refinish, a multi-room relay, leveling and installing over concrete, or lacing in 40+ boards when a wall was eliminated here or there, the work was always done efficiently and with beautiful results. Most recently they did a multi-room finish on a property; started sanding before the ink was dry on the closing papers. One solid day later the floor had been sanded, patched, filled, and had two coats of poly on it. A third coat on the subsequent day and a few days to dry and this floor was ready to be walked on! We have enjoyed it daily ever since. I can't say enough good things about Jerry and his crew. Always responsive, always with good ideas, and very professional and well-mannered. I had one badly damaged and another not so badly damaged wall in my bathroom, and after my horrible…read moreattempts at repair, I realized that a professional needed to do the work. I found BJ on Yelp and gave him a call. I sent him pictures and he provided a more than reasonable quote on the same day. Lucky for me, he was able to come out the next day to do the work. On the work day, everything went as planned. BJ removed the old, cracked mud, sanded the walls, added new mud to the walls, sanded the mud, and then painted. In total, the work time was about 4 hours. I'm giving Thumbs Up Repair five stars because BJ responded quickly, showed up to do the work (a lot of people don't show up), and did a great job. I plan to have him come back to paint the inside and outside of my house as well as replace my kitchen countertops. He can do a lot of work, and I'm so glad I found him!

We paid $10,000 for our crawlspace to be encapsulated in 2023. I would think the key aspect of…read morekeeping the crawlspace dry is the dehumidifier. The one this company installed in 2023 quit working in 2024 after the one year warranty expired and I had to pay $1,000 to have another one installed. March 2025 the dehumidifier quit again. I called and they sent a technician out here and he said the company no longer uses those dehumidifiers. He inferred that they are of substandard quality and if I purchased another it would be quite expensive. He checked the dehumidifier and said my electrical outlet had switched it off. So, I paid an electrician to replace the outlet with one that doesn't automatically switch off. The dehumidifier continued to quit working. So, I asked an HVAC company to come and check it out. He said the dehumidifier is fills with water and cuts off because it isn't draining properly. He emptied it out and said it hadn't been correctly installed. He said it needed a condensation pump and the tubing needed to be replaced. I tried to reach someone at Crawlspaces and More and for weeks never received a return call. I finally received an email from Jim and he said he would come out and make sure the dehumidifier was on and charge me $200. I told them to forget it. I called a reputable company and they installed a very nice dehumidifier and replaced the door to my crawlspace. Ours was wood and rotted because it was decades old. They said Crawlspaces and More should have replaced it to thoroughly encapsulate the crawlspace. The new company installed a custom fit door that is air tight and sealed. I would not recommend Crawlspaces and More.
