Great farm in WestChester! CASH ONLY! They have tons of fall activities; apple picking, pumpkin picking, corn maze, hayride and lots of baked goodies. Apple picking is $30 for a large bag (1/2 bushel) and $15 for a small bag. We got the large bag and probably had over 50 apples. It was very organized with a gigantic map of all the varieties. Pumpkins were laid out for you to pick. Small pumpkins were $5 or less. Larger ones were weighed and then priced. Most of the baked goods were good. I was disappointed the apple cider donuts were not warm; $1/donut. The pumpkin muffin $3 was delicious! The Apple strudel was not worth it; not stuffed with enough filling. No issues with parking mid day on a Saturday. Overall, great stop for families or friends looking for fall festivities!

I just wanted to update on the pies we got from here. The coconut cream pie was good. The apple pie was beyond amazing! One of the best apple pies I ever had. Loved it!

My husband and I had a great time apple -picking yesterday. This farm has two sweet dwarf tree varieties e.g. Honeycrisp & Ginger Gold (beyond the light grey building) and 18 tart varieties (across the field). The tart section was clearly labeled with signs on posts but the sweet section was pretty easy to figure out even without signs being that there were two varieties. Most of the ripe trees were abundantly full of apples even in late September. Just be aware that the ground is uneven in some spots and there are fallen apples around so watch where you step. We took home a big heavy bag of apples worth $35.00. We paid at the main store and enjoyed a short walk to the apple sections. The quality of the apples are great- delicious and a good size. We didn't need poles to pick apples but it's helpful to have a tall person in your group . Even if you don't, you'd still be fine. The farm stand had a good variety of stuff from other fruit and vegetables besides apples, soup mixes, spice mixes for your apple cider, sweets, preserves, and gifts. Be sure to visit their website if you'd like a preview or call. Mrs. Stuart is super friendly and helpful. The bakery was full of awesome desserts. I was tempted to buy one of everything . They also sell coffee and cider etc. My husband and I loved their apple cider donuts. They were flavorful and fresh. We didn't purchase any drinks this time. We'd love to visit this farm again soon to explore the other apple varieties which ripen in October. I would have loved to go peach and nectarine- picking but we missed the cut-off though the farm stand does have them for sale still. There is more to experience on this farm but we were really there just for the apple -picking experience. Highly recommended! Great for families or groups but if you want to avoid the crowds, we highly recommend visiting on a weekday like we did.

Ideal apple orchard/pumpkin patch outing. Only negative was the mud that two weeks of monsoon weather offered. Aside from that, great prices, lovely farm, amazing day trip!

No cover charge and I could eat a dozen donuts. We got the scones and apple strudel as well. Both 12/10! The apple cider is also off the charts. Some of the best I've had. The pies are super fresh and I wanted one of everything! They post that they sell at local DeCicco's as well but can't confirm if it's all flavors... No u pick apples but they have every variety imaginable in the stand and all were fresh like they were picked that day. Plenty of other farm fresh veggies and honey. There is also some spots to eat outside and a food truck with some pizza and bbq options. The road to get here is a little rough. Super narrow and some spots where only one car can pass at a time. There is a parking lot and street parking available. Would very much depend on the time of day and year you are going but we were able to get a spot in front at the end of the day. Would definitely recommend for anyone of all ages especially if you love apple cider donuts!

Around 2pm, they were sold out of pork and wings. Live music outside (country) and several picnic tables outside. Bathroom is an outhouse. The donuts are good - they're the fried kinds. Not super friendly staff. The cheddar scone was suepr dry and tough - it wasn't flaky at all.

The store is huge. Lots of parking in the lot. The store is clean with lots of great decor and Italian background paintings. The staff were all friendly and helpful. They have a great pizza shop, deli, salumeria, hot food buffet and many more great sections. Everything we tried was delicious. We bought from the pizza shop, deli and some fresh pasta and sauce. I believe there were…read moreothers close to this one, but we went with Ochs because of the low admission fee ($5 per person) and petting zoo. It was an hour and a half drive from upper Manhattan. We went here on a random Wednesday afternoon so we basically had the orchard to ourselves. The first parking lot you see is for their store, you have to keep driving up for the u-pick orchard. There you check in to pay your admission fee, get your wristband, and get your apple picking bag(s). They give you a map where the ripe apples are highlighted for you. My favorite apples were the honeycrisp and snap dragons. They grow vegetables too but honestly we didn't explore the orchard that much (it was huge) so the only other thing I picked besides apples was a tomato, which I felt like was pretty difficult to find a good one. I handed out the apples to other friends and colleagues and they all liked them! There's something different about picking the apple straight off the tree than the apples you would normally just buy at a grocery store. It's a lot crispier when you pick them yourself! The store has apple cider doughnuts! Now being that I am a Californian where we don't have this apple picking culture, I was wondering what all the hype around apple cider doughnuts was about. NOW I GET IT they're so good! Unfortunately since we went on a weekday the doughnuts weren't fresh (they make them fresh on the weekends) so some of them were stale, but most were still good. It's honestly more of a cake than a doughnut, but so good! The doughnuts are self serve towards the back. The store also had a cat on the prowl haha We ended up not even having time to visit the petting zoo, but overall I think my colleagues had a good time here and I would recommend this orchard for anyone trying to have a no frills apple picking experience. I believe there was like a building restroom closer to the store and port o potties closer to the u-pick orchard.

The apple cider donuts are a must-try! We came on a winter day few days after Christmas and they had free samples of apple cider. I got some tea and honey to bring back home to FL. I also bought some apples and they were so soft inside and juicy. Unlike any other apple I've had. I wish I had a way to bring the Amish butter home since a family member has it in their home I often have it with bread in the morning. The staff were friendly, and everything was well-organized. Heads up It's a bit busy during peak times, but that's to be expected at a popular place. But when we came on a Saturday they were practically empty and lady made a joke not to come on the weekends so I assume normally it's a busy day or they dedicate it to stocking up since when we came I saw about 3 of the staff unboxing stuff. Overall, a really enjoyable experience with a charming atmosphere. I'll definitely be coming back next season!
