Did not have pie but would highly recommend the scones as well - hard to find a scone that isn't too dry and the blueberry one we had was moist and packed a punch. Came at 12nn or so and the parking lot started to fill up an hour or so after. Farm is very walkable and saw Christmas trees a little farther along too. There are lots of apple trees with a variety of apples to choose from. They are all labeled. There is a bakery and a store. There's also a small pumpkin patch area. The prices were really reasonable. It's $15 for a small bag of apples. The pumpkins were 99c a pound. I got scones, an elephant ear, doughnuts, and a muffin. They were all yummy. Mrs. Stuart was very nice to us. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because there were bees everywhere! Hundreds. It was very overwhelming. There were no indoor bathrooms. It's cash only. read more

This was a decent apple orchard, but the only thing to do is the apple orchard. In early October the trees were full of apples and it wasn't too hilly. They don't have much else other than apples. The bakery line was way too long. They don't have hayrides or any of the fun and games the other orchards have. read more

This is a family owned farm with great options for apple picking. The apples are huge & so tasty!! It is just a short walk from the entrance. This is an ideal place to go with small children since it's a close orchard and not hilly. Despite the fact we came at the end of October there were a lot of good apples available. I wish their were bigger signs & labels to identify which apples were ready for picking. The woman who owns the store is very sweet & helpful. Bakery has some nice pastry options that you don't see at other orchards. Fair warning this is a CASH or check only location so be prepared. read more

Great farm in WestChester! CASH ONLY! They have tons of fall activities; apple picking, pumpkin picking, corn maze, hayride and lots of baked goodies. Apple picking is $30 for a large bag (1/2 bushel) and $15 for a small bag. We got the large bag and probably had over 50 apples. It was very organized with a gigantic map of all the varieties. Pumpkins were laid out for you to pick. Small pumpkins were $5 or less. Larger ones were weighed and then priced. Most of the baked goods were good. I was disappointed the apple cider donuts were not warm; $1/donut. The pumpkin muffin $3 was delicious! The Apple strudel was not worth it; not stuffed with enough filling. No issues with parking mid day on a Saturday. Overall, great stop for families or friends looking for fall festivities! read more

We were turned away from Wilkins farm down the road as they were already full thirty minutes after opening. This farm had free parking and free entrance. We purchased the 15 dollar bag of apples which was more than enough. Had to walk a bit to hit JACKPOT trees but understandable as it was late in the season. People were adhering to COVID restrictions and rules. CASH ONLY. pumpkin patch is cute. My Only drawback is that there are a lack of hand sanitizer stations or places to wash hands! read more

My husband and I had a great time apple -picking yesterday. This farm has two sweet dwarf tree varieties e.g. Honeycrisp & Ginger Gold (beyond the light grey building) and 18 tart varieties (across the field). The tart section was clearly labeled with signs on posts but the sweet section was pretty easy to figure out even without signs being that there were two varieties. Most of the ripe trees were abundantly full of apples even in late September. Just be aware that the ground is uneven in some spots and there are fallen apples around so watch where you step. We took home a big heavy bag of apples worth $35.00. We paid at the main store and enjoyed a short walk to the apple sections. The quality of the apples are great- delicious and a good size. We didn't need poles to pick apples but it's helpful to have a tall person in your group . Even if you don't, you'd still be fine. The farm stand had a good variety of stuff from other fruit and vegetables besides apples, soup mixes, spice mixes for your apple cider, sweets, preserves, and gifts. Be sure to visit their website if you'd like a preview or call. Mrs. Stuart is super friendly and helpful. The bakery was full of awesome desserts. I was tempted to buy one of everything . They also sell coffee and cider etc. My husband and I loved their apple cider donuts. They were flavorful and fresh. We didn't purchase any drinks this time. We'd love to visit this farm again soon to explore the other apple varieties which ripen in October. I would have loved to go peach and nectarine- picking but we missed the cut-off though the farm stand does have them for sale still. There is more to experience on this farm but we were really there just for the apple -picking experience. Highly recommended! Great for families or groups but if you want to avoid the crowds, we highly recommend visiting on a weekday like we did. read more

This farm is lovely and the apple picking was great. Several varieties to choose from and there's a map to show you what to pick and where. They also had a huge bin of apples at the exit of picking in case you didn't pick or what you wanted. I thought $30 for a bag was a little pricey but you just walk out with your bag instead of having to weigh it like some places. Real star of the show is the pies. We waited over an hour in line to get cider donuts and the people in front of us said it was very worth the long wait -- especially for the pies. The apple crumb did not disappoint!!! read more

This year was my second year that I planned a field trip to this farm for my school. Last year, we came and went apple picking and were told by the older lady which whom I spoke to on the phone beforehand (I believe based on other reviews is Mrs. Stuart), that our students could also take home pumpkins. It was an amazing experience. This year, I spoke with Mrs. Stuart on the phone while scheduling the trip again and she asked if my students were also getting pumpkins. I said yes and we confirmed the price for each student was $15. When we arrived at the farm, I met with Mrs Stuart and paid for my students and everyone had a wonderful time up until it was time to pick pumpkins. Staff from my school were telling me that this young woman was being rude and saying they could not get pumpkins. It was the way she said it to them. She even approached me with a rude attitude saying our students have to pay for pumpkins. There's a way to speak with customers and the way she did to me was disgusting especially with students around. I understand if there was confusion. We had 31 students on the trip. We are a big group. Why would we try and steal pumpkins?! I was never told of a separate price for pumpkins. If so, I would have included it in the overall price for my students when I planned the trip because my group consisted of students who are in special education. As a result, some students did not bring money with them. I would have prepped the parents to send in money with their child. Please trust that I will NEVER visit this farm again with my students or anyone else. Mrs. Stuart is amazing. I thank her for her kindness for the past 2 years. Visited the farm today for the first time and I asked for handicap parking and was told to park in an area in front. There was another car with a handicap in their car so we thought we were ok. We proceeded to pick out apples and were very pleased with this farm until we put out apples in the car and were going to visit the bakery when a very rude older man told us to move the car. We told him we were told to park there. He then threatened to put his tracker in front of our car. We went up to the girl and said why were we told we could park our car there and she said who told you. We were like the girl that was here earlier. My husband proceeded to park the car in the parking area and a worker told my husband your not handicap. That was it. How dare anyone question a disability. We left and will never return. People at this farm need to know how to speak to customers. All this rude man had to say was "I'm sorry you can't park here". There was no need to be that rude. Remember the customers are keeping your farm up and operating. So I advise any one who is handicap not to go to this farm. Other farms accommodate handicap people. read more

Humiliating experience. Visited today with my family - husband, two kids, grandparents. We have been coming here for 5 years now and I was honestly shocked at how poorly we were treated after our prior relatively positive experiences. What happened: tried to buy some bakery goods using Zelle, got the green check in the app with the cashier standing next to me, the payment showed as completed and accepted on my end with a confirmation number, yet she kept saying that she could not let me have my goods until she saw it as received in HER bank - despite her witnessing the green check and seeing the status reflected as delivered and a confirmation number in my app, because she was watching me send it. At that point I was in a catch 22 - I had already sent the money and could not leave without my goods because I couldn't take my money back, and she was not letting me have what I paid for. So, I was forced to stand, being advised to call my bank, when my bank was clearly not the problem, while she went back to help other customers. After about 20 minutes she showed up again and finally gave me the stuff I paid for, saying the money just came through. I feel so humiliated that I will never ever bring my family again. If you, as a business, have made the decision to take Zelle as a payment method, and you have witnessed a customer paying you on their phone with the green check showing and a confirmation number, that should be sufficient. The fact you have delays, which are clearly on your end, should not mean that you humiliate your customers by refusing to give them what they paid for. And mind you, I was actually one of their "paying customers" because we were foolish enough to also pay $70 for two apple picking bags at the beginning of our visit, as we do every time we go there. We saw multiple other guests getting out of their cars carrying empty USED Stuart's Farm bags with them and they headed directly to the field to fill those up - I guess the general understating is that if you pay for a bag once you could use it all season, because that is what everyone else seems to be doing. So, way to go Stuart's Farm - you just lost one of your loyal paying customers, I hope you enjoy the others who come without paying for what they pick. I hope this is a lesson learned not just for me, but for any other reasonable person. Please take your kids and money elsewhere. read more

Our family called the farm first to make sure they were open (they were!) and then drove an hour and a half with two little kids and a dog, only to be turned away at the entrance by a traffic cop who said "Farm's full, parking lot closed, move on." Farm looked scenic. But the fact that they don't sell own fresh pressed cider is a deal-breaker for me. How can you be an apple farm and sell cider from some company other than your own? The bag costs 30 dollars and holds a ton of apples which seems to be about average price The corn maze was 3 dollars a person and my six year old loved it They advertised a hayride but never found it ? No worries though because the apples were plentiful and quick and easy to get to ! 3.5 Stars. Me and a group of 15 friends drove up to Stuart's Farm from Manhattan to go apple picking in the fall. It was my first time apple picking so I didn't know what to expect. They charge by bag, not by pound. A bag to pick apples is $15 for a small bag, and 25 dollars for a large bag and you can fill it up as much as you want or as little as you want. We all got the large bag for 2-3 people, and it was definitely harder to fill up than I thought. We went in Mid-October but found most good apples already picked. There were plenty of apples on the trees, but a significant amount were rotten. A ton of rotten apples were also on the ground surrounding the trees. I think that's why it took us a while to fill out our bag - to search for non-rotten apples. There were also different varieties of apples to pick from, but I found the fields a little confusing and disorganized as the farm barely any signs to label what apples we are picking from. The views were beautiful - especially in the fall. Overall, our group had a great time apple picking here. We filled up our bags and took home pounds and pounds of apples! read more

No signs to the apples, no help about where to go, no information about apple varieties, the line to buy bags right where the cars are leaving. I used to live in Illinois and there were farms everywhere. Corn, strawberries, apples, blueberries, mushrooms (but not the freaky kind that let's you see Jesus), etc. You name it, they got it. Wisconsin was also around the corner...so picking fresh produce is no biggee for me. Damn, they have the freshest cheese... Now my take on Stuart's Fruit Farm is that they are making a killing getting city folk from NYC to come drive down here and a pay $10 for a bag slightly bigger than a Ziplock freezer bag...then you can pick your own apples. Also, all the food items like apple cider and dried fruits aren't even made on the farm, but shipped from somewhere else. :-/ Feeling ripped off, yet? It was semi-fun...but man, those apples were expensive. Everybody was nice though. Worth the experience if you've never done it before. For the love of God, avoid the porta potties at all costs. read more

You wait a bit for parking, they guide you to your parking spot, then you unload your kids out of the car, walk up a hill which, although not the farms fault, was so muddy everyone was slipping and falling. When you finally reach the apple trees, there are no apples left to pick. Bummer. Very tasty appple cider doughnuts, they were fresh & had a nice light texture, though a bit small. The apples were good, though expensive. Also saw various jams, jellies & spreads, things such as Apple Butter which were more fairly priced. Oddly enough they even sell packages of bacon from a different farm for $12 !? 1 package of bacon for 12 friggin' dollars ? Our family has been coming to Stuart's for over 20 years. We always enjoy picking apples, and the cider donuts are great! We have fond memories of hay rides and pre school tours there. This year, they went above and beyond! We brought our son's therapy pet, a green chevron parakeet, with us on our trip to Stuart's. Although his wings are clipped and he usually stays on my son's shoulder, he surprised us by flying off into the trees! All the staff at Stuart's were so kind and helpful. We were excited to have a place to pick apples that was within 30mins of our home. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed by our trip to Stuart's farm. 1) Mainly, we were upset because there was poison ivy everywhere. And we mean EVERYWHERE. Basically anywhere near the apple trees was covered by poison ivy, and it was under almost every tree. We saw whole families and toddlers roaming around in it, and were nervous that tonight will be a painful experience for them. I've attached a picture of the common poison ivy scene at this farm. It's dangerous. 2) As others have mentioned, they make you purchase a bag for $25, and then no matter how much you fill it (say, you don't want that many apples) it's still $25. I guess these are Westchester prices, but after the dangers of poison ivy, and finding many many worm-affected apples, it's just not worth it (for instance, we heard one young boy yell out - "I found a good one"!) 3) No credit cards, no atm. Just cash or check. Should have done our research. Needless to say, we won't be back. read more
