Very happy with my sliding screen door built by Stuart's Glass & Screen. I contacted one other place but Stuart's had a better price. And very good quality. It's metal and sturdy. And the owner Stuart took his time to explain our options and also helped us decide to spend just a bit more to have a metal grate/screen put on since we have small kids and this helps kids see it and adds a layer of protection and reinforces the entire door. I'm very glad we opted to add this feature and I wouldn't have thought of it otherwise. Stuart also came out himself to install the slider and made sure it was perfectly aligned and added the locking latch. And made sure we had it in time for Memorial day weekend. We have a very heavy 10' patio door that takes up a good portion of the wall in our great room. It also affords a very nice view of the pool and beyond. Since we moved in, the door has been very difficult to open. Especially for my daughter who is very petite. In the last year, it's almost been impossible to open it at all. We called a few places and it was easy to decide that Stuart's would be the best choice. He explained his experience and the options we could choose to solve the problem. His explanations were simple yet very detailed. Other companies said we would have to switch to a 3-panel door which we really didn't want to do. When the team from Stuart's arrived, they got right to work. They removed the door and replaced the entire track. They had to come back with more heavy duty wheels but the initial work they did already made a big difference. They game back as promised and installed the new wheels. Now the door flies open so easily, we have to be careful not to pull too hard. The service was exceptional and the price we paid was fair.
