Customer service needs to improve, last week I ask, how much for a Hair color or Highlight. The lady didn't tell her name but she sound annoyed when I asked her nicely about the price and hair. Instead of telling me how much or the estimated total of the hair color and price, she abruptly cut my words and said " oh we don't have time for that, or idk about highlight". I'm like what is going on even though a customer asked nicely to know you're not supposed to say that's unprofessional. This review has been overdue. I have been here multiple times with each one leaving satisfied and grateful for their amazing work. I mostly come here for wedding up-dos and makeup. This place is 45 minutes away from my house but the drive is worth it! Rania(the owner) is so sweet and talented. She never disappoints...she does exactly what you ask for or at minimum close to it. I Love her and she makes you feel at ease and makes sure you are happy before you leave the salon. The reason that brought me to write this review was due to my wedding hair and makeup. First of all, I couldn't have chosen anyone better!! Of course I showed her a pic and usually you never get the exact same look. Which is understandable, but she literally hit it 95% which is better than anyone else i would have gone to I'm sure. My hair was already damaged and weak and thin, I brought extensions and everything! Anyways, she knocked the ball out of the park!! Makeup was amazing too. I specifically requested Emas, she made me look flawless and not too overdone. I didn't want to look like a drag queen, i have seen some creepy bridal looks LOL! She kept my natural look with a bit of bedazzled to make me outshine. I have a round face and I hate that part, she contoured it very well without it showing. All and all, i was very satisfied with my look, my makeup lasted all night, My headpiece stayed put too, I was jumping and doing all types of movements without anything falling apart. Towards the back of the hair salon is Cindy's where she does eyelash extensions. I've been pretty consistently getting eyelash extensions for about 5 years now (10 years total though) and I'm sad to say this was a disappointing experience. During the entire duration of the application, I was in strange positions and about half of the time my nose was completely covered by her hand. I couldn't breathe sometimes! It was extremely uncomfortable plus she was answering many phone calls while working on me. I'm used to being so relaxed and comfortable during application that I usually fall asleep. Definitely not the case this time! Despite the uncomfortable experience, I thought they looked good once I got in my car! One was too low and poking me in the eyeball so I worked at removing that one right away. Other than that, the extensions looked good. However, I paid for mink eyelashes and they were not that at all. Also, my extensions normally take 75-90 minutes to be put on. I looked at the clock and I was in the shop less than 60 minutes. How could it be done so quickly!? Well as time passed, I found out exactly why. About half of the eyelashes were put on each lash individually, but the other half were clumped on in groups. Eyelash extensions are meant to for each lash to be individually put on your natural lash. Yes, it's a long and cumbersome process but the result is more natural looking extensions, as well as less damage on your actual lashes by not weighing them down. This was the most disappointing thing of my entire trip knowing that clumps were put in some places instead of putting extensions on each lash. My usual eyelash extension lady was in Korea leading me to make this appointment at Cindy's/Studiano's. I am SO glad she is back and will continue going to her to have my eyelashes done correct. Sorry but I can't recommend getting your eyelashes done here. read more

Way overpriced. Wanted an updo, ended up with just curls and had to ask for a 'poof' to be added. The owner was on her phone the entire time. This ended up costing 65 before tip. My daughter went for a style only...no wash, no blow dry....just wanted it styled with nice curls for prom. They were done in 15 minutes and her hair looked as if it was never styled. I could have done a better job myself and for $75 plus tip, I feel I got ripped off. Unless you have a specific stylist you know that is good, save your hard earned money and go elsewhere. I met my hair stylist on accident. I had scheduled an appointment with Rania, the first time. I was passed down to Silviana. She did my updo as close to perfect. She is very professional and straight forward, she will tell you if it will look right based on face frame and all. 2nd time I went in I had Amanda who I constantly hear and read about, I don't think we clicked on hair. I wasn't happy with her work. On the next updo, I had Silviana and she made sure I was happy and extended communication during the updo. I am planning on going in to see her for a trim I'd like her to add layers and frame my face more. I was recommended Ema for makeup and she is amazing. Not only is the staff friendly and fabulous, but Rania the owner has done my hair everytime I come in and she does it to perfection. I came in about a year ago with kinky curly hair, dry scalp, a ton of breakage and balding. I am extremely happy that I found this place, and Silvana Youkhana was recommended to me by a friend. Here is why.... All of the sudden I realized that I wanted hair extensions, but I really knew nothing about them. So my friend recommended that I call Silvana Youkhana. Not only did Silvana Youkhana respond to my call right away, she also agreed to stay past her hours to meet and consult on what options I had. When I walked into the salon everyone greeted me warmly and Silvana Youkhana was ready to assist. What made me fall in love with this place was the fact that there were a bunch of girls in the salon that had different types of hair extensions, and everyone welcomed the idea of letting me see and feel their extensions. This allowed me to make the right decision on what type of extensions I should get. After choosing what kind of extensions I wanted, Silvana Youkhana and I took time to decide what color would be the right match for me. Note that during this time at no point did I feel rushed or pressured to make a decision. After choosing approximately what color I wanted Silvana Youkhana said she will work her magic to get me the right color, at the discussed price. Lucky me, because I was at first told that it would take 2 weeks to get my extensions, but it really took less then 1 week. Before I knew it I was back at the salon, with Silvana Youkhana showing me how to wear my clip-in extensions. It's second nature to her- and equally impressive to watch her work. She's a symphony of hairspray, shears and bobby pins. Whether it's been color correction, a better cut, or just a fresh style, she knows how to take you out of your frump, and morph you into a Hollywood head-turner. It's really why we come, isn't it? To be reborn into the blonde bombshell we remember ourselves to be, regardless of how mismatched our eyebrows are. It's one way we retake the world, our world, by storm. I've had an opportunity to be worked on by many of the stylists, and not a single one didn't deliver. Sylvanna is taking care off current problem, roots! My hair grows like a weed, which is equally a good thing, and bad. The bad, my blonde doesn't stay blonde for very long, the good, my hair is healthy and there's a bunch of it. Brides beware! Committed to a appointment by putting a deposit down which apparently is non-refundable. Keep in mind they never told me this. Went in for a hair trial only to get my actual hair burned by the owner of the salon. I spent an entire week frantically trying to find somebody else who is available for a very basic style for my wedding. I have had to go and get several conditioning treatment to try to repair some of the damage done by her styling tools. The salon is a nightmare if you're going in for a trial I understand that you might actually spend more than two hours there because you will get shuffled around between other stylist while the owner is busy trying to upsell other customers her hair straightening keratin treatment. Also apparently she has a lot of regular customers who don't realize that she talks about them behind their backs. Come on, these people are your bread and butter and you're going to talk poorly about them? She use my hair extensions and they smell bad partially because they were new and partially because the styling tool she was using needed to be cleaned. While my mother wants to do my hair she noticed my actual hair was smoking a lot. And on several occasions my mother saw that she was dropping my extensions and walking all over them. My mom had to walk up from the waiting area ti pick them up and give them to her. No attention to detail. None whatsoever. I have a feeling that a lot of these reviews are inflated by her stylists or their close friends and family members. Tried to cancel my appointment 2 weeks in advance of my appointment. She wants to give me a gift card which she knows I won't use because she burned my hair and could never send anybody there. Poor customer service. read more

I just had the worst experience here with Rania. She was so unfriendly and rude. She rushed through my haircut in 7 minutes and the entire time she was yapping with 3 other hair stylists who all stood around my chair. It made me feel very uncomfortable. She was also very rough with my hair, pulling and tugging and pushing my head in the direction she wanted it to go. Rania is very unprofessional, I could not believe an owner of a business would treat their paying customers this way. Rania the owner is really nice and will do whatever she can to make things right. After she gave me a botched balayage she offered me half my money I was content until I went back to get my hair done at a different salon. I am completely gutted because i was refused service by 2 different stylists who both said the same exact thing. If they touch my hair it will literally melt off because of how overprocessed and damaged it is. They weren't lying either bc my hair was so gummy and breaking off in pieces when I first got it done by Rania. I was hoping it was temporary but it wasn't. My only solution now is to spend more money on expensive treatments and products which I have already done and cut my hair shorter each time. I was growing my hair out but I was forced to cut 4 inches off as a result of this visit. Please do your research before you see any stylist at any salon. If they don't get a history of your hair or understand dark hair and lifting different levels. Its not worth it. read more

At 1:15 Rania comes to me and tells me to go get a hair cut while mixing color for her other client which she will get more tip out of it. This is a review for Cindy's Spa in Studiano's salon. I went in to get a facial and eyelash extensions. It was such an unforgettable experience, I had to go out of my way to leave a great review. Her facials are not only amazing using only organic products but she also explained and taught me so much about skincare. You can tell she's done her research and genuinely care. Trust me, her facials are nothing anyone's ever experienced and unforgettable! I've never gotten a facial in the past where I left with not only my face looking bright red and irritated but just glowing and was able to go about my day without any makeup! I decided to get eyelash extensions after (Cindy gave me a discount). I've pretty much given up after getting it done couple times in the past. My past experiences have all been terrible and took over 3 hours in addition to costing an arm and a leg. Cindy had different length, thinness and curled types to custom lashes from front to back. Not only do they look amazing but it doesn't bother my sensitive eyes at all! I will continue to see her without a doubt!!!! read more

Having gone to studianos by a recommendation from a good friend I fell IN LOVE! Rania fit me into her busy schedule last minute! I walked in with out grown roots uneven cut and beyond dry hair...her reaction to my hot mess of a head was priceless! She sat me down and said "no worries I can fix this" before I knew I had walked out with the perfect amount if highlights my hair didn't seem any shorter than when I walked in and she did some awesome treatment!
