I recently moved to CA and was looking for a hair salon. I have never trusted going off an Internet recommendation for my hair UNTIL I found studio 212 where Raul had multiple reviews AND pictures to show. Anyone can write a review in my ooinion with hair resukts show. ... any way I have been a blonde most my life but have been going from blonde to brunette the past few years because finding a hair dresser that can do blondes without getting a brassy color or makong me too blonde is difficult. raul did a fantastic job from my highlight job to my cut to bring my layers back. Okay so I've been meaning to write a review for studio 212. I came in probably three weeks ago for a cut and color. I haven't done anything to my hair in ages and I had straight, black, loooong hair. I got an appointment with Raul and couldn't be happier. I got full bangs and layers along with an ombre. Errine did my bangs because Raul said she is the queen of bangs and Raul did cut and color. They did an amazing job! It's been three weeks already and I still love my hair! The salon is super cute and the staff are nice and friendly. Raul even moved my car for me so I wouldn't get a ticket:) I definitely recommend this spot and I will definitely be coming back! read more

Errine is my only go to girl for my hair. I have extremely long hair and like it that way. Other stylists that i've been to go scissor happy and pisses me off by doing so. When i say i want a trim, that's what i want... not a freaking new short hair do!! Errine knows how my hair falls and does such a great job. When i don't have time to blow dry in the mornings during the week; my hair still looks great! i haven't colored my hair in over a decade but i see Errine's work when she colors others and it's absolutely stunning!! Update: second time around for ombré! My last visit was 6 months ago (eek!). I work full time and have a 9 month old and a 2 year old and my free time is non existent. I will tell you that my ombré from the first time around kept its color like you wouldn't believe! I followed Raul's care instructions and my color kept so beautifully for so long. He advised that I go a little lighter this time around and I'm so glad I listened to him. He knows his sh*t... What will work with your type of hair, what's "in" for the upcoming season, and ultimately will talk to you about what YOU will feel comfortable in. All of the times that i've gone i always get my hair done with Vivian, she's amazing and knows exactly what shes doing! She'll do what you ask and not what she thinks should be done like other stylist whom you tell them you want your hair a certain way and they end up either cutting too much of what u wanted or it just doesnt come out how you wanted it! Vivian did an amazing job with my hair. I went in feeling BLAH and left with my hair all bouncy and cute. She listened to what i wanted and gave me her honest opinion regarding my ideas and helped me make a good decision. Recently I went to Studio 212 Beauty Lounge to get my hair and makeup done by Vivian. She did an amazing job on both my hair and makeup. I had my hair done here by Vivian and I was so happy with my results. I haven't colored my hair light in a while and have stuck with my natural color. Love this place & Ada. The only thing that sucks is the parking, but I deal with that because it's totally worth it for great hair.

RAUL IS THE BEST! So I had gotten my hair royally messed up at a beauty school, being a poor college student and all I went the cheap route. I came out with 8 inches of my hair cut off and I thought there was no way anyone would be able to fix it but thank the Lord that I found this salon on yelp. Everyone is really nice and welcoming.
