I've been wanting to write this review because I think I speak for many of Laura's long-time…read morestudents. I started attending Bikram Yoga back when Vern owned the studio--may he rest in peace. I came back in February 2026 and feel better and have lost 18 pounds! :) I recently read a negative review criticizing Laura for occasionally going off-topic during class and talking about real-life issues. My response is this: let's not be so quick to judge. None of us are perfect, and we're all real people dealing with real emotions and life experiences. When Laura says things like "monkey see, monkey do," I know exactly what she means. Many of us will see someone sit down or lie down during class and think, "Maybe I'll take a break too." I know I have. She's simply encouraging us to push through mental barriers and stay focused on our practice. What many people don't see is the amount of time and energy Laura invests in her students, especially new ones. I regularly see her stay after class to help students improve their poses, answer questions, and encourage them to reach their full potential. She is passionate about helping people succeed, not just in yoga but in life. What stands out to me most is how she connects with people on an emotional level. Many students come to her studio as a last resort after living with chronic pain, physical limitations, or frustration from not finding relief elsewhere. Laura genuinely cares about those people. She listens, encourages, and helps them believe that improvement is possible. That kind of dedication is rare. For me, Bikram Yoga has been incredibly healing, both physically and mentally. A lot of it is mindset, "you take what helps you, learn from it, and build on it". Don't let a few words that may have been taken out of context define Laura or her business. Life is what you make it, and I choose to view every class as a stepping stone toward a healthier, longer life. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I believe it's important to be kind and fair when sharing it. That's just my two cents. Laura has helped many people over the years, and I am grateful to be one of them.

I am sorry but I had an unexpected experience here. It was my 2nd Bikram Yoga class and Laura was…read morethe instructor. My first session with the other instructor went well. While Laura was instructing, I felt like she was talking about many unnecessary topics like how yoga is not their only profession and how it doesn't really pay well. I don't know how it's relevant to us? She also told a fellow student that I was copying her yoga moves and mentioned "monkey sees, monkey does" something like that. While I wasn't really copying anyone. She also mentioned that I was anxious during the session while I wasn't really anxious. I was just trying to put efforts. I don't understand how can someone "encourage " a student like that during their initial sessions. What's the issue even if someone is looking anxious? Yoga should be a pleasant experience for newcomers and not feel like walking on a tight rope. I thought it was just me but I found other 1 star reviews here concerning her on similar issues. I don't feel comfortable going back even though I paid for an entire month. Sorry but please treat your new students with extra care and encouragement. Good luck!

I was looking for something to boost my confidence and fitness, and I found it here. The infrared sauna workouts are incredible--intense, fast, and I leave feeling so empowered every time. BUT! I have to give a huge shoutout to Stella and her amazing staff at HOTWORX! From the moment I walked in, they've been more than just employees. They are my biggest cheerleaders. They actually take the time to know your name and greet you every single day. Whether I have a question about a session or just need a little motivation, they are always helpful, friendly, and genuinely kind. It's rare to find a team that makes you feel so seen and supported. Also the entire studio is spotlessly clean and has such a positive, inviting vibe. If you are on the fence, just do it! It has given me so much confidence in myself. 10/10!"

Sahara was my flexologist and WOW she absolutely loosened me up and unlocked things I didn't even realize were jammed up. The session was targeted, professional, and incredibly effective. She knew exactly where the tension was living and went straight to work. No fluff, just results. This was not some generic stretch session. This was a strategic reset for my muscles and mobility. Sahara explained what she was doing, checked in on pressure, and tailored everything to what my body actually needed. The impact was immediate. Better range of motion, less pain, and I felt lighter walking out the door. If you sit a lot, train hard, carry stress in your body, or just walk around feeling tight for no good reason, book with Sahara. This is real self care with real outcomes, not spa vibes. StretchLab just earned a permanent spot in my wellness routine. 10 out of 10. Will be back. Highly recommend.

Being a PE teacher, ex athlete and coach I am always on my feet. I could definitely tell that my flexibility has decreased throughout the decades, so this was a nice change. They started off with a massage gun (which I have at home so that's a plus). They did that for sometime, which it was a 50 minute session and I felt like they did that for 20 minutes. I was a little bummed about that, but I trusted the process. As the session continued, I felt pretty good afterwards. However the next day after the stretch I did kink my neck...so not sure if it is a result from the neck stretches but I ibuprofen was my best friend. I don't think I will be coming back as I studied kinesiology and had the basis of stretching and the importance. It is just me having to execute it on my own now. It is pretty pricey for a membership , but if you can swing it, why not...

I discovered Open Door through my trusty MindBody fitness app on 4th of July when I was browsing…read morethrough last minute deals and a 4:30 Cracked! yoga class appeared. I paid for the class and signed a waiver through my app and headed to the revamped and artsy downtown Pomona area for the class. I was able to easily score street parking right in front of the studio. The studio is as cute and as artsy as the area. The front of the studio has yogi merchandise and jewelry for sale. Behind the little doors is the class space. You an tell that the space also has a stage for other classes like aerial, lyra and pole. The space was very artistic with local student paintings on the walls. I was thoroughly amused to see that Victoria May (ig: @victoriacircus) was my yoga instructor for the day! I LOVE Victoria. We have crossed paths in previous studios and she is amazing!! Victoria has a positive high energy personality. She is very encouraging and she has the best metaphors for instructions to help me 'understand' how to get to a certain pose. I highly recommend her If you are looking into the Cracked! class with Victoria, it is a class with "gentle movements that follow the breath to strengthen and align the joints." During class, we practice restorative poses that encourage the joints to open up. This class is great for all levels. During our particular class, I happened to be the only student that showed up since it was a holiday! Victoria asked me if there was anything I would like to practice or any areas I would like to focus on. I mentioned that I just did a killer work out the previous day and my core and thighs were still sore. I wanted to do some healing restorative poses. We were bouncing ideas off one another and somehow the plow pose, or halasana, came up. I have always struggled for the plow pose, but I have never been able to get it. In addition to looking beautiful, the plow pose is great for stretching your back and shoulders. Victoria structured the class so that we would start out with warm up stretches, especially for the neck and shoulder to prepare us for the plow pose attempts. Then we got to the wall to assist me in the practice. She was extremely encouraging and reassured me that it took her a while to achieve that pose herself. Practice makes progress and I am extremely proud of my progress for the day! It is always fun to learn something new!! A fun class at a cute upbeat artsy studio! I would definitely consider taking more classes here.
