Have been going here for a couple years, and didn't want to give away the secret! Hope it doesn't get super crowded now with business. One of the nicest gyms I've gone to, out of many. A comfortable place for women of all ages, and excellent for men as well. Good vibes, friendly "regulars", people making friends. It's always kept clean by staff, but the regulars make use of the cleaning supplies too. Good air flow. Wide variety of machines, and free weights. Yoga and other classes are popular. Lots of tv's to watch sports or even movies, if you like, as you walk for miles on the treadmills. Several trainers are working here, and help patrons from teen athletes, to folks getting out of P.T., to active seniors. Local firefighters, police officers, and high school athletes use the facility from time to time. Some equipment pads getting a little worn out, but people don't quit coming, even a month after the holidays, they become regulars. We're just working hard! I just had my first workout at this gym & felt compelled to leave a review. The place is small, but well-organized. It's super clean, including the bathrooms and showers. Maybe my only bit of constructive criticism would be to please sweep & mop the aerobics room floor, as it was pretty dirty. Beyond that, I was really happy with my workout. This used to be a great gym really gone downhill probably due to the new ownership machines are ripped torn this is a risk for Staph infection also a lot of the cardio machines are not working or make loud noises. I joined Fit Gym after LA Fitness Glendora left me in tears. I was tired of the impersonal corporate model. I am so grateful I switched! Fit Gym is a small, independent facility with great energy. The staff is friendly and offers personalized feedback on my fitness goals. The infrared sauna is my favorite amenity. Overall a great gym and wouldn't have wanted to started lifting anywhere else Pros: - incredibly clean and well maintained - relatively small, equipment is rarely crowded - great pricing from day/ week passes to monthly membership - welcoming and friendly staff/ crowd - plenty of cardio machines + a sauna - a variety of classes Cons: - since it is a smaller gym, equipment is limited. 1 power rack, barbell bench, and incline bench. Even so, usually don't have to wait more than 10 minutes to use them - unconventional 45lb plate size that will make every deadlift a deficit deadlift read more

If I could give this little hidden treasure a 10 I would! I have been to many gyms in my lifetime and nothing compares to the vibes at a small family feel type of gym. At this gym, from the minute you enter the door you are greeted with a smile :) Lets talk about the gym itself: The gym is small in size but do not let it's size fool you as it has a variety of really good quality machines. Dumbbells & accessories are always in the designated areas (not scattered all over the place like other gyms) The facility itself is clean & members help maintain its cleanliness by having good gym etiquette. Parking is never a problem as there are many parking spots available in the lot. If you are looking for a gym, I highly recommend you give Fit Gym a shot, you wont be disappointed! read more

Members are friendly and everybody picks up after themselves. Dumbbells are always racked properly and weights are always put away. By far my favorite gym membership that I have had before. Hidden gem. It never gets too busy here in my opinion, with peak hours being around the time everyone gets off work. Morning or night the place is fairly empty and workouts are very easy to manage. I never have to spend much time here as it is very organized and never too many people taking up machines or weights. Can't go wrong here! read more

Without a doubt, World Gym Glendora is the best freaking gym ever! I had a membership at that stupid 24 hour fitness glendora, which was fine when they first opened, but then everything started breaking.....and hello, they don't fix anything! At World Gym Glendora, I've never seen a treadmill out for more than a day....although honestly, I don't think I even remember anything breaking. If you like a CLEAN gym, with all the weights racked, .....then this is the place. The gym is spotless because Joe and Dave are on top of everything. The other day I saw Dave putting touch up paint on one of the walls and Joe vacuuming around the ellipticals. Heck, I bet they do more work on that gym than they do their own homes! Gotta love that. Also, they are constantly improving (right now taking over that loser "Zen-Zone" which was the "Arby's" of Spa's....nobody ever went there and if you did, you certainly never told anyone about it.) AND new equipment seems to show up from santa clause every few months. Again, beautiful! Another point, the people who go here largely care about the upkeep. If you are some filthy, sweaty, slob....dropping weights everywhere, then stay where you're at. If you're some macho meathead stud that's going to spend more time flexing in the mirror and dropping weights from 3 feet just to get people to look at you....we don't want you either. World Gym Glendora is for those who want to work out in a comfortable environment, on dependable equipment, with others who feel the same way. I work out of my house so I'm here at least once every day. It's my stress relief. Find me either in the weights area or on the elliptical watching the DIY channel. I was under the assumption that since each member has a key fob that we would have 24 access to the gym but I'm here at 12:20am on a Saturday night/Sunday morning and am unable to get in. I've always been a large gym fan (Equinox, LA Fitness, 24 hour), but after my husband convinced me to try this...I will never go to another gym. The guy, EJ, who works the front desk during the day is seriously why I come half the time. He notices everyone and says such positive things to everyone... that has kept me motivated to get back in shape after my baby. Plus you can always always get on a machine, use the large fitness class area for private mirror space if your self conscious. They have a movie playing that you can listen to to make cardio go quicker and the staff hands down cares. Plus the people pick up after themselves and take pride in the gym from the free weights to the bathrooms. read more

My husband and I love this gym. We joined in April when it was World Gym. The facility is clean, it is never crowded, and the staff is friendly and helpful, especially E.J. My personal trainer, Stephanie, is the best! She is motivating and never gives up on me. I have never done the same workout more than once. She is always switching it up so I never get bored. My job requires me to be strong and have stamina, and thanks to Stephanie, I do. At age 52, I am the strongest I have ever been. read more

As with many, I dropped my membership to 24 Hour Fitness because I was tired of dealing with the crowds! World Gym is in an easy access location and never too busy, especially in the early mornings. They have a great selection of free weights and machines, cardio and classes and they actually listen to what their member want. With the recent expansion they do have a bit more of a crowd after work hours, but still nothing compared to the headache that was 24 Hour Fitness. read more

Ok. Heres the deal way less punks at this gym than any place around. All gyms get those types but Worlds has that pretty much in check. Not a meat market like most gyms. Anyone can feel comfortable working out here. Great equipment. As far as someone saying this and that about the staff in other reviews? Who cares!!! I can't say enough about how great this gym is. I never liked going to 24 Hour or LA Fitness, there's always an intimidating number of people there and very few available machines considering how huge their facilities are. Fit Gym has such a comfortable and friendly environment that I've felt since the day I signed up. You're always greeted by someone when you walk in and the staff is so approachable and helpful.
