I love Colby!! I came in with ORANGE destroyed hair. I got extensions, color, and cut. I was going for a light silver, but since my prior stylist had totally destroyed my hair (literally, I had horns of breakage in the front and back), it didn't take correctly. I came home and after washing noticed the color wasn't the same. I texted Colby and this sweet angel got me in the NEXT DAY and fixed it for free. Now, I am a pain in the ass. I realize this. So it was silver, a GORGEOUS titanium color. But....I do not have the personality to have dark hair. So, this amazing human who already fixed my hair for free, got a text from me begging for her to fix it. Again. She got me in the NEXT DAY. Here I sit, with stunning white/blonde/silver hair. HEALTHY. It's been dyed three times in a week and it's healthy. WTF?! But it is!!! She's a freaking miracle worker. Not only is she Van Gogh with color and scissors, but she has her own hair extension brand that beats Boheme and everything else 10:1. I've had them ALL. It's 1,000x and it's cheaper. So, end of the story, Colby is my new Jesus. She fixed my ugly orange broken hair and made it a pretty blonde/white/silver 22" long mane of gorgeousness even when I've been the biggest pain ever. I had my hair done by Erin Stephanie yesterday. My previous hairstylist had his assistant worked on my hair without supervising and left a disaster on my hair. After reading so many positive reviews and checking Erin's instagram (fyi it's Crazzyerin), I decided to reach out to Erin to get my hair color and cut done. Erin asked me to send a pic of my current hair condition and picture of style/color I want. I really like that she is well prepared beforehand. Not all stylists do that. During the process, Erin was very thorough with her work. She confirmed again what I want and offered her insights as well. I did not want to bleach my hair so she explained how the color might turn out. I like that she respects client's wishes and gives me a heads up. She also checked on me often while waiting for my color/treatment and she told me how much time it would take. I appreciate that since it's my pet peeve to wait for my hair being processed and don't know how long it will take. The color turned out beautifully. She mixed different shades of blue and green so it adds dimensions to my hair and fun to look at. Most importantly it's the color I want! Woot woot! I went to a holiday party afterwards and everyone complimented on how good my hair looks! I'm very impressed by Erin's work. She's truly a color hair artist! P/S: she's super duper fun to talk to. My wedding was 2 weeks ago and I'm surprised that the lashes are still lasting this long! Cindy Stewart has been cutting and coloring my hair at this location for almost 4 years. She is absolutely amazing! She knows colors and cuts like nobody I have ever met. The salon itself is always clean, everybody always has an upbeat attitude, and they offer coffee, tea and snacks for all of their clients. One of the things I love most about this salon is the way they outreach to the entire community. Always some type of nonperishable food drive going on. Sadly, after 25 years of being my stylist, I can no longer refer or return to Cindy Stewart. At my visit yesterday, she called me highly offensive, profane names and smacked my belongings out of my hands, sending everything, including my phone, to the ground. Because I asked her a question. WOW She has usually done great cuts and colors, but yesterday she was way off. My hair has never looked so cheap with big stripes of color. She also likes to work 3-4 at the same time, so you may be there for 3.5 hrs watching her work on everyone else. Greed is what it's called, unless she has a somewhere to go, then you will get finished fast. That is what happened yesterday. Sad that a simple WORD can be used to cut so deep. So I stumbled upon this salon through groupon, because I had an eyelash disaster (see other review) and needed a damage control. I immediately got an appointment with Janet the next day. If you're thinking of getting the groupon, DON'T. Buy it straight from her instead (cuz I think groupon cuts 20% from them... Don't quote me on this). Janet is great, although I had very few lashes left to work with.. Long story short, ghetto place fucked it up by stacking cheap lashes with super thick glue, Janet made it work!!! Our conversation made the whole appointment breeze by fast, and before you know it, Taaaadaaaa natural beautiful lashes. Props to her, whatever I had on before I came, she painstakingly took off cluster by cluster. So patient and delicate, she definitely has very steady hands to glue every single strand of mink to each eyelash. I'm glad I found her and I'm coming back to her again! read more

I have virgin hair. Meaning it's never been dyed, it's rarely straightened/curled, and it's really black Asian hair. I had an appointment with Colby, who is incredibly friendly, talkative, and funny- I was definitely never bored during the whole appointment! I decided to dye my hair a red/brown that day, but when she washed out the dye, my hair came out as black as before. Apparently this has never happened to any other client before, but because my hair was so healthy, the dye couldn't penetrate through to the cuticles! When I thought it was going to be a huge fail, she managed to whip up some tricks by tossing me back to the sink while adding a color kicker (aka bleach) and a lighter shade of dye. After it washed out, my hair turned out to be a wonderful dark auburn/black cherry. She even managed to cut and layer my long hair in about 10 minutes, and it STILL came out better than almost any other hairdresser I've been to! It's been about a week since my haircut now, and it faded into the perfect reddish brown that I wanted, and I could have never been happier! The color is gorgeous and I instantly loved the cut- no more of that "it'll grow out to look better in a week" haircuts! read more

Well this was my first visit to a hair salon in over a year. I had hair past my shoulders kinda the middle of my back and was so fearful that I wouldn't get what I wanted. But let me tell you all that Kalee was absolutely amazing she cut my hair exactly the way I wanted and it feels great. I would definitely recommend her and this salon to everyone. Janet was booked out a good week in advance when I called. I booked my first "initial" appointment and follow-up when I called - to ensure I would see her right before our big day. When I arrived today, she was on-time and welcoming. She allowed my fiancé to sit in the room with us while making easy conversation with the two of us for the entire two hour appointment. She started by asking what my expectations were. My eyes burned a little, and they were red for a few minutes after completion, but they definitely turned out beautifully. This review is for Barbara Dean. She does massage, facials and waxing and she does ALL of them better than anybody else in the universe. Well, I haven't been to everybody in the universe but Barb is truly a master/professional at all three. I have been going to Barb for over 20 years (since we were mere children... or at least much younger). I should have written a review sooner and I only thought of doing it because I just wrote a bad review about another massage place. Shame on me for taking so long to do this. Barbara is an amazing masseuse. She has great hands and a passion for what she does. She has a yearning for knowledge and is constantly taking classes and reading so she can be the best. She has wonderful "touch" and knows more about the body than many health care professionals. When I was pregnant, she enrolled in courses on how to massage pregnant women. After I was rear-ended, Barb worked on my neck and shoulders and was more helpful than my chiropractor. She is super strong and can do an amazing deep tissue massage or she has very sensitive hands and can do an exquisite Swedish massage. She's great at pressure points and working on whatever ails you. As far as facials go, Barb knows skincare . She researches what the cutting edge treatments and products are and makes sure she can get them. She called the other day because she was so excited she had just been approved to carry a particular line that's supposed to amazing. It's just so nice to see somebody who cares so much about what she does. I have kids and she's wonderful with acne and I am old and she's wonderful with defying the ravages of age. Her facials are relaxing as well as amazing in terms of results. For waxing, she is careful and meticulous (as she is in all she does). I cannot say enough about her though you can see I tried. She is truly talented, wonderful and I never feel better or happier than after a treatment with Barbara. Give her a try. You will thank me later. :) read more

When my stylist moved, I had to find a new one. Enter Rhonda. I told her a bit about how I like a minimum of fuss and I wanted a weave. Rhonda was great. We talked about how much time I spend on my hair and for the weave she suggested I try some low-lights to my hair. It worked out great! I have gone for two months and the colors have just blended into the roots that are growing out. Granted my hair is a 'dishwater' blonde, but that is still a long time to go with a touch-up. This review is for Jennifer for electrolysis and lash extensions. I have been going to Jenn for about four years for electrolysis. I had laser done on my underarms and nether regions, but I didn't want to pay $100 per area to have the last 10 hairs lasered. Jenn charges me for 15 minute increments, which depend on how much hair I have and how long it takes. I am surprised at how inexpensive it is! I am 45 now and hair is starting to show up in random places, like my chin and upper lip. I go to Jenn and she zaps each one, wherever it is and voilà! Smooth skin and no hair. And it is WAY less painful than laser! I was going every other month at first, but now it's only like twice a year. Each time the hair gets lighter and thinner until it's gone (about four zaps per hair). Jenn is gentle and funny so our appointments are actually fun! I HIGHLY recommend her. So the last time I went to her, Jenn saw my lash extensions. Then she tells me that SHE does lashes too! I made an appointment and got a full set for much less than anywhere else I have gone (I follow Groupons around because lash extensions are expensive!) Jenn charges me a price that allows me to actually maintain them instead of having them just for special occasions.
