This review is long over due! Over the years I've had body work done a a few times. This was by far the best experience I have ever had. Gary was so professional, competent, and clear. Working with insurance companies can be difficult, on both sides. He navigated those challenges with skill and diplomacy. I always felt that Gary had my best interest first in mind. The work I had done was cumulative bumps and scrapes that I did over time. So, it was a complicated, fussy project. Needed some body work done on my vehicle and as Studio Auto Body is in my neighborhood and I have been by it numerous times over the years I went to them for an estimate. Gary, the guy I worked with was super nice and very helpful in giving the estimate and when I took my vehicle in to have them do the work he even drove me home which as I am handicapped was really helpful. Gary kept in contact with during the time they had my car and were working on it and picked me up when the car was finished. Brought my Porsche 911 for a good detailing as I was putting it on the market. I wanted to take it to a body shop that does detailing, rather than a car wash or other detailing shop, as it had some scratches and I wanted the body shop knowledge of how ey could rub out without going through the clear coat. I took my brand new Mercedes' Benz Maybach to his body shop from some front bumper and hood damages and gary managed to return my car back to me within 7 days.... My driver side window had started acting up. It really wouldn't go up anymore. I was lucky I didn't have it all the way down the night it pretty much died on me while I was driving home on the freeway. It went up enough to close when the door closes. I sent a few messages to businesses about the issue. All but two of them wanted me to bring in the car to better diagnose the issue. I did not like having to do that since it'll just drag on the time I have with a broken window mechanism (normally I do not mind taking the car in for better diagnosis, but no time when it's something that separates the interior and outside of the car and would be easy access for anyone if the window no longer went up). One was a mobile repairer. I did not feel comfortable with that one. But, Gary, owner of this fine body shop, was the only one to tell me the out the door price. It's like he knew what the issue was before even having to remove the door panel and was the lowest, fairest price. And the part that he quoted me for was what the issue was. The metal wires on the window regulator were really shot to hell. He saved me money on the repair and the car rental I had (originally rented for a full three days). The repair was done in a day -- was ready the next day, so I was refunded the unused days from Enterprise and I have a window that goes up and down like it was brand new! I definitely would recommend Gary's shop to anyone who asks me for body shop recommendation! read more
