I came into the salon with long, sun-kissed blonde hair and left with short, uneven, splotchy and stripey orange and purple hair. Brenda did reimburse me for the haircut because it was a rushed job that she did in five minutes after my color, but she refused to do the same for the color mishap. Her offer to fix the color didn't make sense to me. First, it's not fixable. Second, I won't let her touch my hair again. See the photos for yourself. She's colored my hair many times, every time I've either had to come back for her to fix minor errors, or I had my professional colorist in LA methodically fix Brenda's mess. UPDATE! (4/21/26) It took master colorist Johnny Ramirez EIGHT HOURS to fix my hair color, and master stylist Marilee Albin fixed my haircut. Turns out it was much worse than I thought - all kinds of chunky diagonal highlight lines underneath, all orange. $1700 later, I finally learned my lesson to NEVER return to Brenda Burns, no matter how inconvenient it is to go to LA for good hair.

Now it's been 3 weeks to which I called and was told I'd get a call back in 5 mins or so when the manger was in. (I didn't) so I called back the next day and was told I had to wait for a manger to call me back, I've never received a phone call. What's really annoying is both times I called the receptionist thought she put me on hold and didn't so I sat at the phone and I listened to her talk to whoever she was about my situation both annoyed with me I guess? But talking negative about a customer in front of me was crazy. I've never asked for a refund for service but being $90 and my hair was completely straight and I have pictures with time stamps because I was so excited for the appointment and I was keeping everyone I knew up-to-date on the progress and the way I was treated and ignored left me super bummed.
