My mom took my daughter here a few weeks ago and had recommended it to me. I decided to try it before a trip and the owner was very friendly and helpful. He removed my gel nail polish and talked me into a dip manicure which I'd never had before. It took some time and I was amazed and very happy with the results. He also glued on a nail that had broken down to the tip. It looked perfect. I also had a pedicure and it was pretty standard and looked great too. Overall, I was very happy with the service and the price was definitely less than what I pay closer to my home...$45 for dip manicure, $32 for pedi and $3 to remove gel polish. !BAD BAD SERVICE ALERT! I am not the one who complains about bad service let alone leaving the salon before my treatment is complete. But my pedicure was done so poorly that I just had to stop it and go somewhere else to get it done. The master who was doing my pedicure spend literally 5 minutes cleaning cuticles and filing the nails. I had to ask him twice to do more thorough touch up around the nails, and he still couldn't get it right. When I finally decided to leave they start explaining to me that I had to ask if I wanted anything extra to be done such as deep cleaning of cuticles or ingrown nails being cut, which in my opinion is just redundant. You are the master you should know better how the good pedicure should look like. No excuses just don't go there if you're looking for well done nail service. read more

DO NOT GO HEAR TO WAX! The lady who is waxing is clearly not a wax tech and she will wax off your skin. I still have the scars to prove. What they use is not even real wax and it's in a nasty old bowl that has clearly never been cleaned whatsoever and they use the same stick to dip in wax , put on clients body parts and then dip in wax again. Same stick all through the process and I'm sure they'll use the same contaminated wax. And just to add, it is not even real wax they use, it's this very thin liquid, the cheap lowest quality. THIS WAS THE MOST PAINFUL WAXING EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE AND IT HURT FOR ALMOST A WEEK. read more

Love the white Coffin-shaped nails I got. This was my first time going here and it was a great experience. One thing that went wrong was she kept offering a design she thought would be pretty on my nails. I politely declined and asked for simple black lines. She looks and me and starts insisting I get her design. I decline again and ask for the black stripes. She looked at me with a scrunched up face and says, "Okay." Not only was she insisting I get a design I did not want she insisted me to get gel polish instead of the normal polish I wanted. She was a older lady named Lynn. She also cut my pointer finger with the file. She was trying to file my nail but she really was filing the inside of my finger. Layer by Layer my skin shredded off. Blood starts pooling up. By this time she looks back down from talking and quickly flips my hand before I notice. She did do some wonderful nails, she charged me 3$ less. She was very nice and you could tell she loved what she did. She made sure all my nails were in place and not crooked at all. She was also starting conversations so it wasen't that normal awkward nail visit. Overall I love this salon, I would go back but not sure I would recommend it to other people since there is such a variety of nail salons in the area. read more

GROSS DIRTY AND HORRIBLE! I had a pedicure here yesterday...HORRIBLE and rough treatment. Cursory leg massage, cursory use of pumice stone, they RUSH through even though you are paying $20 for a pedicure... but what REALLY freaked me out was the fact that the woman rushed through my pedicure and then USED THE DIRTY TOOLS she had just used on me on the next girl! I felt really sorry for her...I didn't know what to say...so I didn't say anything. She didn't even clean out the pedicure foot tub after I used it...REALLY GROSS. Someone call the health department! If I get any kind of infection or nail fungus after this GROSS experience, I will sue them! read more

My nails SUCK!!! I came here after walking into another place close by and deciding not to get my service done there. Boy am I regretting that decision! My tech's name was Lynn. I asked her once we sat down if they had matte nail polish for top coat. She replied "Yes" and smiled. After miserably failing at doing my acrylics she beings painting my nails. She got polish all over my cuticle and missed the sides. After applying two coats of polish, she applies the top coat. It's shiny, not matte, so I point that out to her. She proceeds to tell me that they don't have matte top coat polish and the one she's applying is all they have. I could not believe my ears because I thought we were pretty clear when I sat down. I walked out not being satisfied with my nails at all!!! I will not be visiting this location ever again. It's super tiny and the whole space does not look clean. Truly a little gem of a nail salon. One of the cheapest ($20), longest, most relaxing pedicures I've ever gotten, with a nice (albeit brief) foot massage included in the price. I've gone three times now, twice as a walk-in and each time the service was prompt and courteous. The salon itself is small and not exuberantly decorated -- I've been to other salons where you walk in through the door and feel transported to some exotic bamboo temple in Thailand or something. This isnt one of those places. But if you want a nice, quiet, cheap, good-quality nail salon experience staffed by friendly Korean ladies, you can't do better. read more

I came here for a mani-pedi and I'm not coming back. The technicians were very nice, attentive and accommodating but the shop doesn't exactly reek hygiene. The bathroom looks very dirty with the toilet, sink and paper towel holder rusted. I did not see a sanitizer in the shop for the tools, and the blue water they "use" to sterilize the tools looks very dirty. I didn't bother getting my nails painted since I was starving and wanted to leave so all the technician put on was the base and top coat. I had a pleasant experience with Studio Nails last night. Kim is awesome! I am used to getting shellac manicures at other salons and the last one I got last week did not even last 6 days. Kim explained to me shellac manicures last 2 weeks the first time and fewer days the second and third times you get them. I appreciated her honesty. I wanted nails that didn't chip and would stay strong. I was having issues with my shellac nails getting brittle the longer they got. Kim recommended that I get acrylics with gel color on top. They came out beautiful and Kim paid great attention to detail! read more

I researched many other nail salons in my area before going to this one. but today, after calling almost 4 nail salons in my area and comparing the prices Studio Nails had very fair prices and they were cheapest out of all the other salons i called today. and the best thing is that they don't rip you off and they don't over charge you. Mani + Pedi was only $30 dollars. Don't forget to TIP! Pros: - cost effective. - gets the job done. - very nice and polite (unlike other nail salons). - they get you in, and get you out. - they don't expect tips. - very fair priced. - the nail technicians do not talk a lot and makes small talks which is good! For some reason the technician who did my pedicure did not know ( or pretended not to know) how to properly do a french pedicure. I have been going to Studio Nails for years. I always go as a walk-in. Each person Roxie, Lynn, Kim, Pinky and another lady have done my fills and pedicures. My nails last for 3 weeks and I get compliments regularly from strangers for the designs they do. It does look run down. They recently started lining the pedicure tubs so each customer gets a nice clean tub. The are good about remembering customers and seem to have a lot of regulars. read more

Been here twice- the first time I got a pedicure and the technician did well- it was very cheap and didn't include much in addition to getting my nails done but I didn't mind. The next time I came it was for a manicure and the technician this time did very poorly - polish was bubbly and uneven and she didn't file my nails smoothly. Would probably come back for a quick and cheap pedicure, but them manicure wasn't even worth the $14. read more

Since it's very close to my job, I decided to give this place a try. The first couple of times were OK, but the third visit was not pleasant at all. I walked in to get my eyebrows done. This woman with short hair was on the phone with an earpiece in her ear talking to Verizon about her bill! She didn't even acknowledge me! She didn't ask me how I want my eyebrows done, and went on with the conversation the whole time. It didn't even feel like she used any wax.. she was done and didn't even give me a mirror to see if it's done right. I went home and I couldn't believe how little she did to my eyebrows. I called the next day, and I wanted to talk to the manager. She rudely said that the manager was not there, and I asked her when he will be coming back. She said to call later, bye! Been there more than once and tonight was the worst. My nail lady penny or whatever cut the skin on my finger like halfway down the other side of my nail, plus the top of it under my nail. She offered to replace 6 nails and said she wouldn't charge me but then, when I didn't want to be claustrophobic from her watching me pick a gel, says that she is going to because i didn't want the gel. I ended up getting a pukey ass green because she couldn't tell red from brown and didn't know how to do even a leaf design. (Decided to get gel obviously). Then when I was done my nail wasn't even a square shape and wasn't to nearly the expectations I had in general. The only time I had a successful time there was when I got my eyebrows done from someone else. But going there is setting yourself up for not being able to eat lemons for the next two weeks. Oh and she tried to do my eyebrows HA no thank you. Never going back. Usually throw 15 as a tip barely threw her 5. I wouldn't suggest going ever. read more

LYNN is the only nice one. well theres another nice one - shes older too . the other 2 are these ladies that think they are just the prettiest girls in there. all they do is stare at their self and they never speak to other customers but their own . Lynn is the only one i go to . shes soo sweet and shes very creative . i always come out pleased from their . the 2 girls i dont like are rude - one has a short hair cut (shes the worst) and the other one has long hair and its always out and shes always wearing heels - but shes mean too . but other than that - i love the salon . there pedicures are amazing . read more
