I'm so happy I found this hidden gem when I was passing by Ottawa. Be aware that there isn't really much parking space and that the place itself is slightly difficult to find and or enter. If you're driving down St Laurent boulevard you might not notice Stuffed Burgers and Pizza, or you may just think it looks like every other generic local pizza place, but, that would be a mistake! We had been craving a good blooming onion for a little while, (they seem to be hard to find in Ottawa), when my wife found the name of this place online. We figured next time we are in the area we should check it out, so tonight we did. After finding it (hint: it's right across the road from the Art Bank) we entered the restaurant and were immediately greeted by a friendly face behind the counter. Inside is quite small and with the heat wave we have been having it was warm, so we thought we would get it to go. We told him we were looking forward to trying the blooming onion and he explained that they are all homemade from scratch and that it would be a shame if we didn't get to eat it right away since it tastes best when fresh. So we decided to stay and eat at the picnic table out front. After a short wait they brought our food out front for us. The blooming onions looked delicious. Nice and crispy on the outside, warm and delicious on the inside. Just the right amount of batter with a nice seasoning and they came with a tasty dip. One of the best blooming onions we have had in a while. We also ordered a pizza and a philly steak sub. Both were really good. Pizza dough and crust tasted great and it came with lots of toppings. The Sub was also really tasty and I especially enjoyed the homemade garlic sauce. To top off the meal, as we were finishing off our dinner, they came out with a basket of "stuffed bite balls" covered inNutella and icing sugar. The owner (I'm pretty sure it was the owner) said because it was our first time at his restaurant he wanted to give us a little treat. Nice touch. The "balls" were a delicious end to our meal. Next time I'm back I will have to give there stuffed burgers a try. All in all, we were very impressed with the friendly service and tasty food. The inside of the restaurant is kinda small so I think most of there business must be take out, but if you don't mind the small space or eating at the picnic table out front, getting to eat the food hot and fresh is definitely worth it. read more

My husband and I went here for an early dinner recently. Everything was delicious and the guy serving us was really nice. I came in knowing that I wanted a stuffed burger since that is what they are famous for, but most of the reviews I read online said that their buns have sesame seeds on them, even their submarine buns, and I can't eat sesame seeds. So I asked the guy working there if they had plain buns and he said that they had 1 left. Lucky me! My husband had the Meat Lovers Burger Combo ($11.95) and I had the Question Mark Burger only, no combo ($7.95). We also had a can of pop each ($1.25 each), since combos don't include drinks. The Question Mark Burger is stuffed with bacon and cheese. The burger had crunchy coleslaw as a "topping." The crunchiness of the coleslaw mixed with the juiciness of the burger made for some good eats. It was really messy, but so delicious. The bun was fresh and held up really well. My husband's Meat Lovers Burger is stuffed with pepperoni, ham, bacon and cheese. He got seasoned fries and coleslaw with his combo. You can get a salad if you don't want fries and coleslaw. He loved his burger and fries. His bun had sesame seeds and seasonings on it. He said the bun was fresh and tasty. The coleslaw is the creamy/mayo type (not the vinaigrette type) and it's the same coleslaw they put in the burger. The coleslaw is delicious in the burger, but my husband didn't really like it on it's own. Even though I just ordered a burger, I got some free fries to sample. I know they were frying up fries for my husband anyway, but it was a really nice gesture and made me love this place even more. The fries were hot, crispy and nicely seasoned (not too salty). We were even offered some dipping sauces: garlic and chipotle garlic. I loved the chipotle garlic sauce, even though it was a little bit mild. I would have loved it more if it was spicier. Both sauces were great for dipping the fries in. The place is small. It's more of a takeout and delivery place. There is only seating for 10 people. There are 3 additional chairs at the counter by the cash register. Those chairs are more for sitting to wait for your takeout order though, it would be awkward to eat there right by the cash register. The walls are painted with cool cartoon-like characters. There's free parking in the back of the restaurant. Excellent food, really friendly service. I would go back. read more

Visited with a friend today for the first time today. Bachir at stuffed burgers made us some of the best burgers we've had in a while, really great place if you're hungry for a burger. First order. Order up the Aloha to try this place that replaced Willy's Pizza. I did the classic 'pick-up-the-phone-and-order' vs online. The gal on the other end promptly took all the info. About ten minutes later she called back looking for direction -GPS problems. the driver made it to the door after another phone call. The pizza looked good and was warm, see photo. The toppings were fairly standard, the bacon strips were, in spots, a bit 'nearly burnt' which I didn't mind too much (I am more of a bacon bits/crumble guy) I found that there was a fair amount more sauce around the crust than most other pizza I have had. But I liked that for a change the taste of it was fine with some spice (not hot spice). The crust was decent with a nice colour to it. I'd give them another try. read more

Great idea/concept of having a stuffed burger, but execution needs work. Ordered 4 burgers in total for the family: 2 Jucy Lucy's (3 kinds of cheese), Pow (jalapenos, swiss, mushrooms), and a Greek (olives, feta, oregano). A lovingly hand crafted beef patty with juicy plentiful fresh stuffing this was not. The flavours didn't blend in harmony. The meat was a little tough, and filling wasn't plentiful enough. First time here tonight. Food was pretty delicious, had the pow burger and it was really tasty. Was a bit pricey but the service and staff were amazing from beginning to end. The gentleman working tonight was such a pleasure and took really good care of our table and even brought over a big basket of dessert, on the house. My boyfriend and I ordered the pow burgers, and they were very disappointing. The burger didn't have any kick to it, only 1 sliced jalapeño in it, and due to the added coleslaw the burger was very wet. The meat wasn't very flavourful, I like to get the taste of the beef in my burger, but this had very little, probably due to the fact that there was a filler. It's been my third time here and I would have to say that both the food and the interior of the building are pretty unique for a fast food place. It's a small dinning area, maybe seats 10 people at the most. Their walls are nicely painted with their own design somewhat an abstract painting that represents the restaurant and is interesting to stare at. They have a flat screen tv as well. I would say their food is a higher quality and tastes a little fresher compared to most pizza places, but I also find their prices are a little more expensive than your average pizza or fast food store. (which is only common sense, if it's cleaner qualities) They have a small parking on the side/back. They do offer delivery. The staff is "family based" and are very polite, friendly people, they as well wear their own designed shirts representing the restaurant. I would say it's pretty much a fancier place that sells a fancier quality of the take out food you might buy elsewhere (wings, pizza, burgers, fries) I suggest that everyone should try it at least once. read more

All I wanted for my birthday was a blooming onion so my husband and I headed out to stuffed burger for take out. I didnt order a burger just the onion and a small fry. My husband had a the onion and the donny burger. The onion was better than I remembered and so big I didnt even need the fries and my husband was impressed with his burger. Half way through the wait for the food they surprised me with an order full of sweet dough deep fried and covered with nutella and powdered suger for my birthday. They were amazing. The customer service was really good as well. They are friendly and inviting. This was only the 2nd time I was there. Impressed for the second time I will be back far more often! So I'v ordered from here twice. They have really good sweet potato fries... But for a place called stuffed burgers... The burgers need some work. The burger was topped with coleslaw, and was very Peppery. It would be nice if they put that on the menu. The coleslaw made the burger very messy. The burgers don't seem to be very stuffed the two times I'v ordered. It was also I bit pricey for take out. So that being said I don't think I'll be ordering from here again anytime soon. read more

I placed an order today for lunch. I ordered the blooming onion and the chocoba pizza which i added strawberry to. I made the mistake of assuming it would be fresh bananas and strawberries but in fact it was old bananas and strawberry jelly filling you'd get in a jelly donut at timmies. The desert pizza was cold and was nothing special and certainly not worth $6 (plus the extra $1 charge for strawberry). The blooming onion was so over cooked it was burnt in the middle. The "chipotle ranch" sauce looked like miracle whip and italien dressing mixed together. When I called the restaurant to complain and ask for a refund or replacement the guy (who claimed to be the manager and store owner) got immediately defensive and proceeded to tell me how everything I'm complaining about couldn't possible be true because he made it himself. He stated that the blooming onion has to be cooked like this because it comes frozen and otherwise wouldn't be cooked through. He continued to argue with me until I called him on the fact that it was rude, poor class and horrible customer service to be arguing with a dissatisfied customer. I explained that I'm not a fussy eater but I do expect the food to be edible and arrive as it was described on the menu. He refused to provide a refund or any resolution at all. I called Just-eat as that's who I ordered the food through, they attempted to get a resolution and they were forced to issue me a credit on the stores behalf because he was still refusing. Just eat is going to be taking action against them for this, but what that entails, who knows. I have had many bad take out experiences but this by far is the worst. Giving them 1 star was generous. Do not give this mediocre at best restaurant your business. They don't deserve it!! read more
