I had no problem finding this spot as the smell wafted through the mall and got even stronger when I was in the right direction. I ordered a dozen of the Stuffies (custard and blueberry) and I honestly did not enjoy it as much as I would have expected to. It left a weird aftertaste for me and I am a big fan taiyaki so I am not sure why I did not like it. Possibly since it was gluten/vegan?? Once upon a time, there was a middle aged man who was strolling around STC. The man was tempted to get some Chick-Fil-A, especially with no line up. "I Just don't want to be so full where I won't be able to eat dinner and I just don't have that sort of metabolism anymore", he muttered to himself. As he approached the front of a shop named Stuffies, he saw a sign promoting a Stuffy and a coffee for $1.50. He thought to himself, this must be my lucky day! When the Stuffy was ready. He gave the Stuffy a weird look and thought to himself, the bear is just too sad looking (the waffle shell of the stuffy was quite disappointing. The bear did not look too pleasant and they don't have detailed enough features to make them look cute). The man took a tiny bite off of the Stuffy. "The Stuffy is not eggy nor buttery enough", he said. He took a bigger bite this time, and he sighed, "the filling is not chocolatey enough (The filling is really what did it for me though and what prompted me to crown Stuffies the worst dessert of recent memory. The supposed chocolate filling was so artificial that it tasted nothing like chocolate. The chocolate filling was quite thick, but the consistency was not what it should be for a chocolate filling). He took a sip of coffee in hopes of washing the Stuffy down, but it tasted like it's been sitting around for awhile and had a slight burnt taste to it. Just then, the middle aged man pinched him realizing that this is not just a horrible dream. He let out a small scream and ran really far away from the Stuffies place and far far away from STC. Stuffies is located inside of STC at the lower level across from Dollarama. 4 Star for cuteness. I love how to you can see the actual making of these treats. They are just so adorable and I played with them before eating them! Sadly the taste is so so. There was hardly any filling, especially the chocolate one. I would stick with the custard ones instead. Wow this place is so cute!! And it smells amazing. This is why I was drawn to it inside STC. The little cakes are soft worh chocolate or vanilla filling. I highly recommend microwaving it 8-10 seconds for that fresh out of the oven taste. The filling will melt like a lava cake! It is regular price 0.80 per cake as they're quite small but I got the end of the day sale for the 24 assorted for $12.99 from $20.95. I took one star away cause I wish the cakes itself was softer - it is a little chewy but still very good! read more

Cute pastries shop inside Scarborough Town Centre, its especially delicious when it is heated up. My favourite filling is the custard flavour, the teddy bear pastries are bite sized and come with a good amount of filling. Would definitely go back again when I'm craving for something sweet at the mall! read more

We stumbled upon Stuffies when we saw a crowd gathered outside the store where the worker was making these cute little Korean pastry fresh. No questions asked we had to try them asap. They are fill with different flavour like chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. We got to try one chocolate and one strawberry. Both were piping out as it was freshly made and super crispy. At 70 cents each it is a delightful snack. They also have full size and savory flavors that ranges from $3-6. Was hard to resist not getting more but we were headed to dinner with friends so we had to. But we will be back for sure. Hope they open a location closer to me soon. read more

We were actually searching for some sort of dessert in the mall one day when we stumbled across the end of day sale at Stuffies! I love taiyaki so mini fish and teddy bear shaped waffles weren't going to get by me! They have big sizes too with a ton of different flavours of both sweet and savoury. My friend and I decided to get a combo box of 24 that was $12.99 after the sale. The pastries are either filled with chocolate or vanilla custard. Some had no toppings while others were dipped in chocolate, had sprinkles on them, or toasted coconut. We brought these home to enjoy so they weren't fresh off the griddle. I highly recommend air frying them so they can crisp up or else they are just soggy and won't be enjoyable. The filling was tasty though! I also ordered a matcha latte and I had a choice of how much sugar I wanted to add. The lady suggested 2 sugars so I went with that. It was an okay drink but there were still matcha powder chunks in it. read more

Got a box of stuffies (vanilla custard and blueberry) and 2 cro-tais (nutella and blueberry). The stuffies taste good but the texture was kinda disappointing though, it was chewier than I expected and there's very little filling in the blueberry ones :(. It's located STC lower level. Opposite of Dollar store. It's own by Korean. The mini pasty taste is ok nothing special. I would rather go to Korean town or their supermarket to get the pasty. It's more favourable. This mini guys is good for fun and snack. read more

I enjoy the mini stuffies that they have here! Stuffies are like cutely shaped pancakes that are filled with a custard or jam, resembling a Japanese taiyaki. I have tried both the jam and custard filled ones and my personal preference are the jam ones. The day old stuffies are a good deal when you can get 8 for $2.50 or 12 for $3.50. The day olds taste just as good when they're microwaved for around 10 seconds. Highly recommend them as a snack when you're at the mall! read more
