CONSUMER WARNING -- RESEARCH BEFORE HIRING THIS COMPANY IS…read moreOWNED BY L VINCENT LANE (license #Pa 129226), he previously was doing business under IVN Sound & Communication, LLC I hired IVN Sound & Communication, LLC for renovation work. The dispute went to binding arbitration through the American Arbitration Association (AAA). On January 20, 2023, the arbitrator ruled in my favor and issued an award of $36,868.31 against IVN Sound & Communication, LLC after finding that I had been overcharged and that work failed inspection by the City of Philadelphia. Case Number: 01-22-0003-3215 The arbitration findings included: * I paid $68,153.03 * Only $40,148.59 of work was deemed valid * Failed inspections by the City * Overpayment confirmed by the arbitrator The company was ordered to pay within 30 days. The judgment remains unpaid. I am not the only person who has reported problems with this operator. Others have left public complaints on consumer websites. I encourage anyone considering hiring to research reviews under the company name IVN Sound & Communication, LLC and the contractor's license number, PA 129226 before proceeding. Verify everything through court and arbitration records before you hire. furthermore, his assertion that I am a scam artist and tried to defraud Fannie Mae is unfounded and a defamatory statement, this is indicative of his lack of professionalism that I experienced.

Green Star Exteriors - Snapped a shot of door install. This was not custom made for the opening. It allegedly took weeks to make this door.

Spouse and I had agreed just 20 minutes earlier we needed to get this done. Sam came out to the house in a quick 4 hours later. He gave a thorough, knowledgable rundown on what we had and how his company could help. His eagerness, courtesy and salesmanship had me at 99% on the sale. Fall down in finishing the deal is I needed to make the roofing decision there and then. Dad advice kept all these years was when given a now or never scenario involving the checkbook, 'never' is the safe play. Great value to what was offered on sales pitch, exemplary salesman, unacceptable terms for 'yes' without time to consider offer.

After telling me they needed to "Custom Make" my windows and doors, they installed products that were much smaller than the openings they had from removed items. This had my jaw dropping.  One installer spent hours covering and filling in the spaces left with a smaller product. There were white metal shavings everywhere.  There was caulk left on much of the glass which I'm still removing as I had the windows done in dead of winter and doors just installed first week of April 2026. There is still cardboard out in my bushes and I've picked up numerous pieces of aluminum around my yard. I still can't even wrap my head around their process. How can this even be energy efficient? I was totally disappointed when I shook the sliding door to find, not surprising, that it is weak due to it not being the size of the opening. I think I could kick it down. I always felt my old Andersen doors were solid. But they were as old as the house. I'm left asking myself, what have I done?  I wish I hadn't fallen for the scam. Prices are not cheap, though they compare themselves to Renewal by Andersen, who are very expensive. You get what you pay for, but this company is extremely deceiving! As far as communication, they measured, then I did not hear from them. I had to call. Not even to confirm the day or days before installation. I added a photo of a sliding door that was installed. It speaks for itself. To sum it up, let the buyer beware.
