So I stop letting her perm my hair and would just go for a wash and style because she does do good enough work, could be better but it's ok work. She over charges for her work and have a very nasty attitude. I called to cancel an appointment about 8 hours before time and she was mad and trying to force me to come by telling me she had no openings for the following day I was trying to reschedule. Now mind you I've never canceled an appointment before. So then we come to an agreement an she goes to tell me that I need to cash app her a deposit, something I've never had to do before. I'm old school I don't do cash app. I told her I would meet her to pay her and she was too busy to meet me. Then had the audacity to tell me that if I didn't make the appointment she could no longer do my hair. Overall her work is ok but attitude and professionalism is very poor and needs a lot of working on. I wouldn't dare recommend her to anyone I know or didn't know. I hope this helps someone out because if your looking for a nice attitude along with professionalism this is not the place to go.

M'Lea was very professional, confirming the appointment via text, with address, phone number, time and her accepted methods of payment (cash/check/Venmo). When I came into the salon, it was well decorated, comfortable and I was offered a drink when I came in. She took the time to make sure she understood exactly what I wanted done, and then explained her plan to treat my hair and why certain techniques would work better on my type of hair. She is clearly well educated and took the time to explain each step of the updo, so I knew what was happening just as well as she did. I'm sensitive to airborne product, and after just one long exhale, she opened a window and made sure I was comfortable, minimizing the use of spray while also making sure that my hair got the necessary product in it. My super flat, super straight hair now has tons of volume and lift for my brother's wedding, without feeling crunchy or overdone! Thank you so much M'Lea! He gives honest and useful advice, but is also great to just have a casual conversation with. Most importantly, he's a great hairstylist--I just recently decided to go from waist-length hair to shoulder length hair. For someone, who has always had long hair, that was a big step for me, but Zack did a fabulous job and I still get compliments. The salon is always pretty busy but I've never had a tough time getting an appointment. Call at least a week before you want your cut so you can get a prime spot.

A lot of stylists work for years and never attain any skills greater than mediocre. I have what has been described as "difficult hair" because it is straight on the sides and has serious wave and body in the back. To be able to address that takes talent. A lot of younger stylists are not trained to do any styles above the shoulders as the beachy waves trend continues for decade after decade. Haircutting is becoming a lost artform. Greg is able to work with shorter hair. I have gotten many compliments, and I recommend him without reservation--although you will need a reservation to sit in his chair! However, four times in the last year I have been called within an hour of my appointment only to be told at the stylist wouldn't be able to make it in, and they would need to reschedule, and they would not be able to accommodate for a cut that day. I understand that people have personal lives, and once or twice if someone can't make it in, I certainly understand. But four times is a trend that I just can no longer ignore. Again, the service is fine, but if you rely, like I do, on being able to count on a haircut at a certain time, then I'm afraid that they may fall short. If you can afford to be a little more flexible with your time this might not be an issue, but just take it under consideration. Now I'm off to Sport Clips. Wish me luck.
