I booked an appointment online with Eric. When I arrived, Eric wasn't there. Gingy was nice and professional , but unfortunately, the haircut itself was terrible. It took an hour for what should have been a 20-30 minute cut. He offered to fix it, but after three attempts , I lost confidence in his ability to correct the line-up/fade and was worried letting him try again would only make it worse. A good shop environment is nice while you're in the chair, but at the end of the day, the quality of the haircut is what actually matters once you walk out the door. I now have to wait an entire haircut cycle before I can get my professional photos done. Decent shop, but don't know if I'd recommend read more

We were walk ins and it was our first time. Service was very slow and unprofessional while we waited for HOURS to get a cut. The cuts were very poor and we suffered deep enough cuts and wounds. It's a small barbershop, not the cleanest, strong smoke smell, rude service, and sub-par haircuts. They also lied responding to my previous Yelp comment and said that we never even came there for service after our review. We paid over $100 for our haircuts and we will never go here again. read more

Very disappointed, extremely unprofessional. I booked an appointment with FLAVIO for Friday September 26 @ 5p. Was supposed to get a haircut, beard trim and eyebrows done. I get there about 5 minutes before 5p and I am told by the other barbers that he has already left for the day. Mind you I had an appointment that was booked online and received a confirmation. They call him letting him know his 5pm appointment has arrived and it seemed like he was telling them he ain't coming back. So I just said, ok I will reschedule and I booked my next appointment for today Sunday September 28th @ 8a. I get there @ 7:50a. I am met by another barber outside. He asked me if I had an appointment. I said yes with FLAVIO. He said FLAVIOs schedule is blocked. He than called him and no response. So the other barber ended up cutting my hair which made me feel like crap cause there were 2 barbers there and it seemed like neither wanted to do my hair. About 30 minutes into the cut, here comes FLAVIO. And the barber cutting my hair was like, I tried to call u. FLAVIO never came to me at all to apologize for his incompetence and for the inconvenience he caused me. FLAVIO left without saying a word to me and the other barber ended up finishing my haircut. Mind u, never was I given an inconvenience discount or the fact I waisted my gas and time. Needless to say I will NEVER GO BACK TO THIS SHOP.............. read more

I like my personal stylist there, Alex but apart from that I don't like a few things about the place; "image you are getting a trim with the trimmer vibrating next to your ears, at the same time there's loud music being played as ambience. All this is fine until you start getting annoyed and a headache from one of the guy watching something loud on his mobile phone without even being remotely concerned about anyone else and keeps swearing!" Waited too long in my neck of the woods to get a haircut. Styles was open late Sunday for a walk in. I was worried. I have thinning hair and needed a conservative cut. It's very easy to expose my hairline and bald me. So when I came in for my walk in appointment to this hip, urban location and the heavy medal stylist ( I think his name is Alex) sat me down... I cringed a bit. I thought he was making the fade too high as to not leave enough on top. I was wrong. It's one of the best haircuts I've had in a while. Nice length on top, perfect fade with extra attention to ear and neck cleanliness. Very professional looking. I may have to venture out from my neck of the woods more. Thanks guys. read more

I was hesitant to try this place, but I think I just found my new regular barbershop! After being unable to make an appointment with other barbershops, due to early closures, I was lucky enough to find this place still opened when I called. This place is nice and modern. The seat/chair was fairly comfortable. Shout out to Ace! He gave me a really good cut. Trying a new barber is always so nerve wracking, but Ace was nice and welcoming. He also knew what he was doing. At the end of the day, I looked good with a fresh cut. I'm glad I found Ace, someone who I can trust with my hair and making me look good! I also liked the steamer and hot towel they use to open your pores prior to shaving. Shaved with a single blade razor. I didn't notice if they had their own parking lot or not. I just parked right in from of the shop. Free metered street parking after 6 pm. I definitely will be a repeat customer. I wish my barber told me he could not cut a bald fade. Definitely would have gone to someone else or even better would have gone SOMEPLACE ELSE. The vibe in the shop was real...musty. No ac or fans, a barber was smoking a cigarette indoors while watching some brain dead tv show and throwing back a shot. Very very disappointed considering they market themselves as an upscale barbershop w celebrity cliental. The shop could use a DEEEEEP CLEAN. This may sound very cliche, but Shalom asked what kind of haircut I wanted but most importantly, he listened to what I wanted and delivered. A lot of barbers and hairstylists ask but it goes into one ear and out the other. Got a shampoo before my cut, which was nice but it was a little too gentle. She's probably trying to get the hang of it and I'm sure she'll get better. Beyond that, it's a cool place and has a modern vibe. For me, I liked that the people were cool. Glad to have found this place. It's a great addition to our South Park neighborhood. read more
