My first time coming here and these ladies did a wonderful job on my 2 shihtzu's. Not sure who specifically groomed my dogs but she/they did a great job. I was a bit concerned because I know my dogs hate grooming and can be difficult/feisty but they told me the dogs did great. That says a lot about the groomer herself, her care and treatment of the dogs. Their pricing is very reasonable. I was expecting more of a charge given the fact that my dogs were heavily matted and looked homeless when I dropped them off LOL. I was pleasantly surprised when she gave me my total. Will never come back. This was my second time taking my dog here. First time, was a decent experience. Nothing special, but no complaints. This time, I came back to pick my dog up and the lady at the front desk asked "how does your dog normally do on a leash?" And I told her "he's great, pulls sometimes when excited but easy to correct". She said "hmm because he was jumping and biting and out of control on the leash for us" and in my head, I was thinking they must have the wrong dog. Then they bring him out on the leash and they are yanking the leash so hard, his collar must be hurting him causing him to jump up to relieve the pressure. And I said "well that's why he's doing that, you're pulling the leash so hard it's clearly hurting him" and they said nothing in return. I walked out, with my dog on the leash, not jumping or out of control in any way, like normal. I can't put into words the frustration I felt in that moment. I will not be coming back. read more

The groomer was not patient with my 9 month old puppy (10 lb) who doesn't like to stand, which I mentioned when I dropped her off. The groomer complained about how difficult she was from the time I walked in the door and said my puppy would rather have her feet just dangle than stand and charged me an $10 extra. Way to help my puppy enjoy getting groomed! Besides the trauma, it was a terrible haircut with patches sticking up on her head, back, chest and shoulders. Lastly, Shitzu's have long lashes to keep stuff out of their eyes and she cut my puppy's off. read more

I had my corgi groomed here about 4 weeks ago. The place is clean and they were priced pretty competitively. My corgi is about 30lbs with an undercoat and I just wanted him bathed with a good Deshedding and nail trim before the summer months set in and I payed $60. They were quick (about 3 hrs) and the staff was very friendly but They were also very busy and seemed slightly frantic and unorganized but I will be going back. They also only take cash or check. So be sure you get cash before you pick up your pet to pay. read more

Ive been going here sice she opened. Used to be a good shop. Not anymore. My goldendoodle loved going here at first then she came home one day after her bath and just acted scared and sad. It caused me alarm as this was never the case. The next time I told her we were going to see Brenda and get a bath she was not happy. She turned around and left the room. She hasnt been comfortable there for awhile. I finally voiced my concerns to the staff and to the owner. Brenda told me that nothing could have happened to my dog there. But I don't believe it I believe my dog. I know my dog and I know her well. I can't say that about Brenda. I took her back in there again last week. I was greeted by a large angry woman at the door who didn't look like she was happy to see me at all. She never spoke a word just unlock the door and turned around. Very off-putting. I went inside and was treated so rudely by this woman that I asked her was there a problem and she flipped the question around on me and asked me if I had a problem. I got one of those feelings like you get down in your gut that tells you to walk out. So I told her I wanted to talk to the owner and she was the one who was supposed to be grooming my dog anyway. They said she wasn't in yet so I had to sit there and wait for her for an hour. We went over what was to be done to the dog and I didn't even tell her how incredibly rude her associate was. You pay high enough prices there you don't need to pay for insolence. I came back to get my dog and the owner was not there as she always is when I pick up my dog. So I had to deal with the angry woman. After having done so I knew it was the last time I'd ever be there because I won't be treated like that someplace it's just wrong. Especially when you've done nothing to deserve it. I even brought the owner a dozen of my fresh organic eggs. But here's the kicker my dog was acting very odd after we left she kept guarding her back half turning around to her tail all the time like something hurt her. I checked her to see what I could see and she seemed to be very guarded of her rectal area and I didn't know if they cut her or maybe clipped a hair wrong or something. But every time the dog put your head down to eat she has to jump like she's in pain and she turns around in circles and this is been going on since they did it last Thursday. I'm now going to call my vet and make an appointment to see what's the matter with my dog. There was nothing wrong with my dog prior to having this appointment now she's needing Veterinary Care. Once upon a time I would have recommended this groomer highly, now I would say beware. I have learned unfortunately this is a very dark side of dog grooming and I'm not going to leave my dog in a place where my dog itself is telling me it doesn't want to be. I wish Brenda all the best but I think her ability to hire a good staff is sorely lacking. read more
