This was my first time getting a pedicure and my mom and I decided to come here. We came on a Sunday and it was not too busy at all! I'm confused what set we ended up doing because they only charged us $45 each with the gel paint included. They cleaned and soaked our feet and did the extra cleaning, shaping and cuticle care. They also gave us an exfoliating sugar scrub which I thought would the "styling deluxe" pedicure set. However, we did not get the 10 minute hot stone massage which is why I'm confused on what set we got. I am guessing maybe that's why we weren't charged more? Not sure. The two kind women who were working this day are Vicha and Kim. Vicha was the one who washed, cleaned, massaged our feet and did the shaping and cuticle cutting on our toes. While, Kim paints our toes with gel after Vicha is done and then she tops it off with massaging our feet and calves with lotion after. They are both nice women and we had amazing service from them. Right now Vicha only works Sundays but I would totally ask for her again because she's so sweet and does a great good with care. I didn't bleed which I'm happy about. The parking here isn't that big either and it's facing the Main Street so you would probably have to park somewhere else nearby and walk if that lot is full. read more

The staff at Styling did a good job off getting the design my daughter was looking for. They did her pedicure too. She had a nice experience and I will recommend the salon to others. Ok this review is long over due! I have been coming to Styling Salon for my nails and pedicures for years now. Kim does my nails, shes quick and designs very nice and friendly too! Trang is the best at pedicure, she's careful and clean and takes her time despite having customers waiting. She does a great job at making my toes and feet look on point! I text them both for my appt and they are always on time for me. I am so happy with my services there and have recommended many friends and family! Tina is TERRIBLE. Don't ever come here. 1. I called a day ahead to book TWO appointments for me and my friend at 4pm for tomorrow; since we were going to Coachella and wanted cute nails. Got here promptly at 4 on Saturday, Tina was servicing not just 1 but 2 people during our appointment time and told us to wait and it'll be fast. (It was not fast) 3. Halfway through, she messes up multiple times on my nails; they were all at DIFFERENT lengths and thickness. I told her twice saying can u cut my nails shorter and thin them. 5. It's been a long time since I've got my nails done, I didnt like the 'unnatural feeling" that fake nails gave you. But my friend talked me in to doing it for my Bachelorette Party and my Wedding, she recommended that I try the Gel. After one sitting, I was hooked. Kim (aka Tien) is great. She's a prefectionist, so she tries to have one hand symetrical to the other. She doesn't apply the gel/layer thick and double checks her work. And she can custom anything. My friend had bought nail stickers she had bought from BeBe and Kim did a custom design with that. And she also does 3D work as well. She's also really patient and sweet. I've been coming to this place for about 3 years now, and it is my quick go to place. NAILS: My usual lady is Kuynh (Not sure how to spell her name, but I know it's starts with a K). She is super nice, and is very understanding with what I want since I'm very picky. Once I came in at 8:40pm and she did my nails for me even though they closed at 8 (I was unaware of this). I felt so bad, but gave her a good tip for taking her time up. For pedicure, it's someone else (don't know their name) who usually does it, but I always get French tip so it's a simple design. Update: I had Kim for the first time and she shapes acrylic nails really well! She takes her time on it and all the nails were all the same shape and length which I definitely appreciated! For some reason the color I chose (410) kept making bubbles every time I would dry it under the gel dryer. That was the only downside, but for $25 I'm pretty happy. EYEBROWS/LIP: Eh. They got the job done but I prefer benefit brow bar. As for lip, it's not that hard to take off hair so you can't really mess that up. However, I am concerned about how sanitized they are.. They use the same wooden stick over and over again. I'm not even sure if they even change it. Kinda gross, which is why I prefer benefit. You get what you pay for here. $20-$30 nails you have to expect a nail that's crooked or something. But the ladies are really nice, and I feel welcomed. Just be nice and they'll be nice back. But if you're rude of course they'll start talking about it. Overall, my experiences here go fairly well. read more

I was planning to get my first set of acrylic done here because i heard the price is cheap. DO NOT GO HERE Service here is so SO SO bad. My mom and I went to this place at 11:00 am. First thing i notice is that no one greet me. Not even a hello. This place wasn't crowded at all since it was early in the weekday. They obviously notice me because i made eye contact with a couple of the workers. So me and my mom decided to sit down and wait. We thought that they were busy. After waiting for about 40 minutes. Another pregnant (i assume) lady with 3 little toddlers came in. THEY GREETED her immediately and asked her what she want. One of the worker told her to sit down at one of the nail station. My mom got so mad but we didn't make a scene because we are not that type of people. So we decided to leave. No one even ask anything when we were about to leave. I was tearing up in the car so my mom decided to take me to another nail salon. i usually leave bad review but this place cut it for me. You get what you pay for. One of the Worst nail salon experiences ever! We called to make an appointment and when we arrived we werw told it was first come first serve. So why take our appointment over the phone? We came back half an hour later (because mom is convinced this is the only place that does her gels right even though one is always crooked) and waited another 15min for one of us to be seated. Another 5 before anyone started and another 5 before I was seated and another 5 before anyone started me. My nail tech was doing men's haircuts prior to my basic manicure and she didn't clean anything properly so 1) she got mens' hair all over my arms 2) one hour later when I was done, yup one hour, there was still mens' hair all over the floor. It hurt when she used the metal tool on my nails, my reflexes made me pull back with an "Ow!" a couple times. The water to soal my fingers in was tepid and she neither gave me the chance to wash my hands nor did she use a hot towel. When it came to clean up it was bad, no clean lines at all. She just put some Seche Vite on and didn't dry them any other way. Next my pedicure. I soaked my feet for longer than I care to recall before I decided this place wasn't worth my time. Unfortunately I had to wait for my mom which gave another nail tech the chance to come and tell me she was ready. No thanks. Not just due to the wait and lack of service but as I soaked my feet I saw my mom's tech pull out her tools and pour alcohol on them before using them. I realized I hadn't seen a single jar of barbicide anywhere save for the hair cutting area..... While I waited another client who noticed we were nearing on two hours there, told me she had been there since noon and it was 5pm! This was Friday. Saturday I had a few minor polish chips. Sunday I had some major polish chips. Here I'll give them the benefit of the doubt because I chose Style Cartel by Essie, a brand notorious for chipping even though I've never ever had a problem with them. I don't think I saw any cosmo/esthi licenses either, adding to the list of things the state board can fine one for I only came here because my mom swore by it but after this she said she's not coming back and is finally going to try a salon of my recommendation. read more

I used to really like this place until recently. They get way too busy and keep getting new/different staff. I had an appointment with Khuyen today to get my nails done. She asked me to come at 5:45 and so I did, once I arrived I told the ladies that were working there that I had an appointment with Khuyen at 5:45 and she was doing eyelash extensions so I decided to get my pedicure while I waited. They finished my pedicure In like 30-40 minutes since they weren't that busy. So I went to sit in Khuyen's chair as I waited for her to finish. About an hour later Khuyen comes out with her customer, rings her up and decides to take in another customer for eyelash extensions. She sees me and tells me "I'm sorry my friend I have another customer for eyelashes" so I was very understanding and said "oh ok that's fine so can I have someone else do my nails? Because I can't wait that long" she said "ok" then went back to her room and didn't bother asking anyone else to do my nails. There were 2 more nails techs that were free and no one bothered asking me if someone else can do my nails! 20 minutes later the girl that did my pedicure told Khuyen that I had an appointment with her at 5:45 and that I had been waiting along time. Then Khuyen yells from the back room "oh I'm sorry my friend you had an appointment with me? I didn't know you were here" ok how can you know if you didn't come out here NOT ONCE TO SEE IF YOURE APPOINTMENT HAD ARRIVED OR NOT?! So Inconsiderate!!! She kept saying "5 more minutes" I WAITED OVER AN HOUR!!!! Tina didn't even bother with me either. Another person walked in and Tina took her as soon as she walked in the door after I had been waiting for so long!! I waisted so much time and couldn't even get what I originally went there for!! I ended up leaving because I couldn't wait anymore!!! What's the point of making an appointment if you're not even going to go by it?! Never coming here again!!! I honestly would give this nail salon a 0/5 if I could. The ladies here are friendly but their skills and techniques are questionable. This is my first and last time visiting this place. The nail salon I normally go to was busy so I decided to go here since it was in close proximity. I went to get my manicure and pedicure done so there were two separate ladies who were helping me. The first lady who did my pedicure was fine and her paint job was overall decent. However, she was a bit rough when filing and cutting my nails. I mean it wasn't to the point where it was bothering me so I didn't say anything. Now when it came to the lady doing my manicure, it was one bad thing after another. First, she neglected to cut my cuticle and clean up the nail. She also didn't properly soak my nails when she began to cut them. Considering I've been to quite a few nail salons, I know the routine when it comes to a manicure because it's generally the same. She was not thorough at all and looked over a lot of things. I asked for gel nails and when she started painting them I could tell it was going to be sloppy. The light that she used to cure my nails was acting up so I let it go when the polish was messed up after curing it. But when I asked her if I could get a different light she wouldn't listen to me and brushed it off. So when I cured it for my next hand, the same thing happened. Yet she continued to use the same light. There was also a lot of dust in that light so it kept getting onto my nails and she would have to keep redoing it. At one point I tried to get some of the dust off my nail and she told me that I should let her do her job. This was getting frustrating because I'm trying to help her and give her a suggestion but she was being too stubborn. So I let her continue and when she was almost done she filed my nails for the last time and ended up making my pinky finger bleed. She kept apologizing so I let it go because I understand mistakes happen. But the paint job that she did was absolutely terrible and is inexcusable. I forgot to ask for what her name was but she had long light brown hair. Definitely do NOT recommend coming here. read more

So I found this salon through the grapevine and I am so happy I did! First of all the salon itself is not fancy it is in the hood, so don't expect to get whine or water offered to you. This is the place where you go to get your pedi and nails done for cheap ( compared to high end nail salons). I have been coming here for over a year and I have never been disappointed in the quality customer service and attention to detail. Kim does my nails, she is really sweet & never gets upset when I tell her to change a design etc. The designs here are up to date & she has more in her phone ( you can also bring your own, I do). I would have given this place five stars but they need to have hot towels for pedicures, better chairs, and some girls here seem like they just do not care when dealing with your feet ( very little message & I don't feel like the tubs are as clean as they could be) I am kinda terrified of getting foot fungus! read more

I am soooooo disatisfied... The so called Cyndy cant do hair. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!! I went in for a touch up on chunks for my blondes and she RUINED my hair.I went in with dark brown hair and blonde highlights and came out with BURNT DARK BROWN hair. Cyndys license expired as of 8/30/13, she shouldnt be doing hair. My hair is sooooo ruined and burnt I got to do treatments for 6+ months to get better. I went in two weeks before my anniversary.
