Had my nails done by the lil lady. The shape is beautiful but the paint is sloppy. I could tell she was getting annoyed with me because I kept wanting to fix them so I jus gave up and took whatever cause she started talking shit about me in Vietnamese. In the end while I was paying I asked if I could come back to get them repainted and got ganged on by 2 workers "you never like anything" (this is like my 3rd time here?) "I asked you while I was doing it" (yea and clearly talking shit about me) I paid $95 and still tipped $15. Even the client next to me while I was paying was agreeing with me they're not cute. Just sloppy and ugly attitudes.
After going to many different places throughout San Jose/Campbell I think I've found the best nail tech I've encountered thus far. Tam is a miracle worker!! I found Tam on Instagram through mutual friends and decided that I would get my next set done by him. He exceeded my expectations! His prices are the best in the area and you get your money's worth. I am definitely coming back.
I came in here excited to try your nail salon because a few of my friends come here. I first tried calling the day before and got hung up on. So I tried again the same morning and again got Hung up on. I thought it was my service so I went in. They sat me down for pedi first and I wanted a fill. The pedi was the most painful and awkward experience. She cut me and I was bleeding on the second toe and she ignored it until I said something. I know they were busy but each customer deserves the time and respect. I paid and even left a tip because I feel bad. I walked out extremely anxious and unhappy. I then looked at my toes and felt even worse. Me or my friends will not be coming back here, except to get my pedi fixed or my money back. I was able to return later that day and they redid my pedi after calling and complaint. The most negative part of this whole experience is as when a customer and a male employee talked about a customer right near to me, the said, and I quote " I don't know why they come in last minute, we are very busy here and we have a lot of customers" he was talking bad about a customer that had just came in. That is very unprofessional. If they don't like walk ins, they need to make that clear. And I have no problem going elsewhere.
Loved coming here but my sets w ken started to get super pricey even though they were basic designs. I'll attach photos. They pink french tip set was 100$ if I recall correctly not including too and the nude set was 100$ as well
Never ever going back to this place again. Had an appointment at 4:30 for attended at 4:30 did not end up leaving until 7:30 does it really take 3 hrs for a pedi and a refill? I think not. First nail broke after 2 days of having them on. Mind you that I don't work in a setting where I'm doing a lot of work with my hands I work in an office. I would have expected that being there for 3 hrs the nails would be more durable. The nail polish also started chipped the same night I got them done. Payed $80 for a "refill" and a gel pedi.
Let me start off by saying I don't write yelp reviews at all this being my first. I've never had a better experience than I did here . I have came to this nail salon twice, today being my third time. JOE and the ENTIRE STAFF were amazing but Joe? He really did his thing. I came in wanting a set with some red rhinestones and at the end of the set I unfortunately was not happy with the red rhinestones. I was going to leave a bit unhappy but joe didn't want that. He happily and willingly redid my ENTIRE set with no if ands or buts. Most salons would have turned me away but he really wanted me to leave happy. He told me most people just leave upset and don't give him a second chance to fix whatever it was they didn't like and he doesn't want that for his clients, he wants them to leave happy so LET HIM REDEEM HIMSELF. I apologized so much because I felt horrible and he kept reassuring me that everything was ok. The customer service here is OUTSTANDING, thank you so much joe for being an amazing nail tech!
This was my first time ever getting my nails done and I'm so happy with the results! I showed my nail technician, Lee, a photo of what I wanted and he did it so much better. Will definitely be coming back!
Love getting my nails by Tam and Lina! My nails haven't chipped or broke since I've been coming here. My nails are naturally long and I 've always had a problem with my past nail techs filing my nails down where it would break. I definitely recommend dip powder nails, it helped my nails grow stronger and longer where I don't have to wear acrylics! I also love how they do any design you want such as diamonds, designs, chrome and even glow in the dark colors cause I'm super extra like that. lol
I usually go to Tam but I went to Lina this time and she did amazing!! She was very careful with shaping and the design. I got a new set with all marble designs and it was $55, not bad at all. The service is great and everyone is nice. Tam is really funny and checked up on me and other customers! I had an appointment at 12 on a Friday and was helped right away. It wasnt super crowded at this either.
0 stars...they use MMA had no problem yelling at me in front of my daughter didnt want to remove my pedi after i said it was too ugly for me to pay for. Shape, application everything was horrible didnt even use tips for an acrylic set. Made me bleed and rubbed every cuticle raw. Didnt even want to do a soak off bc its MMA. Soaked over an hour and still didnt budge she was trying to clip them/rip them off. Those are my toes after i got home and had to peel off off the leftover, cut on 5 toes. SMH. I will be reporting to the CITY.
Tam is great at what he does. I usually only go to him and he always makes sure I leave satisfied! Side note: the set in the picture attached was done by his coworker and although she took a rather long time, she did an awesome job! They are very consistent with the shape of your nails here and the nail salon itself is clean and cute
Very disappointed, I've barley had my nails for 3 days & 4 of them already broke off. Mind you I stay at home all day so it broke while washing dishes or folding clothes !! It's horrible , I paid 60$ for the set , 5$ for removal & tipped 5$ . I will never go there again & I suggest you don't either . They're very flimsy & pricey .
So first of I don't EVER write reviews. BUT let me start by saying .. I been working in customer service my whole life & experience really bad attitudes from people but never have I ever mistreated anyone as an employee I knew better then to give shitty service. And the way I was mistreated today by the older man working at this salon was the worse I left with my nails half done & still got charged 35$ payed it didn't even argue it because I was so angry I was in tears. His customer service sucks he was extremely rude since the moment I set down no hurry no nothing he first started rushing me by asking the color with out even showing me the color options I asked the see the colors then brought it & as I'm looking for the design I want on my phone he still continue to rush me for the color & was barely getting started with my nails like I still had 30 min to decide before he could even start on a color or design because he was barely putting on the powder my nails weren't even shaped . Finally I decide he is shaping my nails w out showing me the shape I ask to see my nails & he's like what?! Is this shape OK?! Like extremely rude I'm like yeah it is . Then as he's getting done I realized one hand is much longer then the other so I ask for him to even both hands out & he's like my godness I only follow your nail look I'm like yeah but you cut them you should be able to even them out can you like I've Has this problem anywhere else his like "then go back there why come here" I'm like because your closer to my Home now & I don't appreciate your attitude with me He's like okay "well go back to your old spot" & I say I don't appreciate your attitude about 3 other times . I should've walked out the moment he said that but I didn't to not cause a scene cause it's embarrassing. The point is he finished shaping asked to wash my hands I did but decided to not finish my nails at that spot I was done being disrespected & treated the way I was treated by this man . His customer service sucks . He is just rude so rude & impatient. So I walked out with my nails not done & still payed 35$ didn't argue it just left because I was done w my experience there . As well as him not having his mask on the moment he approached me until after . But yeah worst experience ever !

Tam & ken , are BOMB literally show them any pic of a nail design you want & you'll get exactly what you showed them . There shaping go crazy !trust me they won't disappoint . Came here because a friend said they do good and not tooo pricey nails so I came here. Called in the morning today for a 4:15pm appointment came at 4:05pm and let one of the guy techs know I'm here for my 4:15pm. I'm fine with waiting 5-15mins but I ended up not getting my nails started til 4:51pm. I'm already annoyed, do I sit there and hope At least my nails are good, it isn't even that good. My friend paid $65 for hers (white set from a while back). I had plans at 6:00pm and it was already 5:50pm so I told him to just put clear coat on. Ended up charging me $70?! If they were super booked they could've At least let me know so I could schedule a different day or even schedule at a later time. This is unprofessional and dissatisfying. Don't come here if you have plans after. (My set is the black one. Also super aggressive, after I made noise that I was hurt tam continued like how he was whether drilling or filling!!!! It's a hit or miss!!! So save your money and go somewhere else read more

I have never written bad reviews about any business but my experience at this nail salon was the worst ever. I found this place on Instagram and I really liked the designs they had and decided to give it a try (worst mistake). This is what happened 1- I had called the day before to make an appointment with Joe but when I arrived a random person was told to do my nails. 2- I sat down and asked for a specific design that I had seen on their Instagram and was told that nobody knew how to do that design. 3- Then a guy sits down to do my nails and in the process he says that I need to do a new set for the design I wanted. I said okay and as he is removing the powder from my nail (w/ an acrylic tip) he rips off half of my nail and says it's okay. I told him to stop and that I was not going to get my nails done anymore. This is what my nails look like after going to this horrible place. Now I definitely can't get my nails done until my pinky nail grows back. read more

I've been coming here since Tam opened. Last time I came he told me to venture out with what I get and this time I around I did. I walked in and I showed Ken what I wanted and he did such so! I was so impressed and happy! Ken always made sure I was okay. He did just a good job on taking care of me. I felt so relaxed and I was very pleased with his work. I'm so in love with them, I attached pictures too. Ken is my new nail guy! AND prices are affordable! read more

This is my new go to spot for sure!!! I kept passing by this place and decided to go in. Best decision I made. This place was Busy but they were able to work me in as a walk in. Worth the wait for sure. I got a beautiful ombre natural nail set by Lina. She was gentle with me, which I appreciate soooooooo much.( My cuticles have suffered at other places) She was like my nail angel. This place is close so I can treat myself more often. Let me start by saying i should've read the reviews first. I Had my appoinment with tam at 11:30 a.m. and wasn't seen until 12pm what's the point of having an appointment if you're not gonna be seen at that time?? also very distracted person kept looking up every 2 seconds. Very sloppy work.i had glue and acrylic all over my fingers. Another thing, he uses fake swarovski and puts gel over the crystals which everybody knows that takes the shine away.i have gel on my cuticles wich is gonna cause lifting of the nails. I've been trying to find a nail place that does really good designs for a while and finally found it. there's a guy who sits on the pedicure side who does great designs. the reference photo is the one with the gems (second photo) and the one without is what the guy did (first photo) the last one with flowers is the first set i got with a lady. read more

Would not recommend this place at all the owner himself did my nails and I had seen that on his Instagram he had done something similar to what I wanted so I showed him the picture that I wanted and he did the most horrendous job I still had to pay $75 then later I realized The work that I got was not $75 worthy so I went back to tell him to fix it but he did not and he didn't even refund me all he gave me was $20 back read more

I wish I can give this place a 0 rating but I can't but anyways so basically they did the middle finger nail really clumpy and the beads of acrylic were done to THIC and they do not look goood they look Tribble . I have explained to one of the lady's what I wanted but she didn't understand me and she cut my nails wayyyy to short . I was charged $55 dollars for this set because of the rhinestone which do not look pretty. They are half if not all cricket so I do NOT recommend this place welll not with her she's the lady that sits all the way in the back in the 4 th table by the door . read more

I asked for a pink french tip like my acrylic nails that I got done with my friend and showed the girl like 2 pedicure references and she still did a sh*tty ass job. $45 for a this was definitely not worth it that price is a literal JOKE. Do better read more

The best nail salon ever!! I've been to a variety of nail salons and most of the time, my nails don't last or they look ugly! Tam takes his precious time to draw the design you wish for or shape it the way you want your nails shaped! He's done a bunch of my sets and they're always so gorgeous! I'll never ever go to a different nail tech! Tam is my #1!! I absolutely love his work. If you're looking for something inexpensive and gorgeous, i definitely recommend going to Tam! read more

They hype up the place tooooo much only to find out it's worse than it is. I wanted to get my nails done, I dm them and the day I picked out they were soooo booked they only had 10! Well I got the 10 right on time and the person who was going to do my nails didn't arrive on time! Waited 10 minutes until she got there showed her my simple design and She wouldn't ask for many question they would just talk in their language saying I don't know what the fuck. Butt then ending result for $65 was not WORTH IT AT ALLLLLL! They told me to give them a good review and for post it on my Instagram for they can post it on there's too, well that was bs because they just ignored my post read more

Only reason i'm giving this place a 2 star is bc Tam's work is actually pretty good. Prices are reasonable as well! Tam did my nails two times when he was working at home. I completely fell in love w his work because he took his time to shape my nails & to do the designs. weeks after he opened his salon, i contacted him saying i wanted to book an appointment w him so he booked for 2pm. he started working on my nails on the dot but 10 mins later , another client is saying she has an appointment w Tam. I already had a bad feeling that someone else was gonna do my nails. Sure enough, someone else starts doing my nails while Tam takes care of his other client. That is one of my biggest pet peeve when nail artist switch off. i show tam what i wanted for my nails and i came out w a whole different set. he said "colors are similar" when i asked for purple, blue & pink.. he did pink , orange and yellow. like what???? the shape was horrible. the nail polish was super bumpy. i was there for about 2 hours .. and two other people ended up doing my nails. i didn't feel confident having these nails on so i decided to complain. long story short , he didn't apologize for my bad experience ... instead he refunded me & blocked me on instagram.. very unprofessional. i don't own a company but i sure do know the basics of customer service. i do know how to treat clients & make them feel confortable w whatever services are being provided. i won't be going back here, obviously since i've been blocked for complaining about something that wasn't done well. thanks for the refund but work on your customer service and don't overbook yourself read more

I have been going to Tam for almost 2 years! And let me say once he does a touch of his work you will always want to go back! He never disappoints, He's amazing and truly the best nail tech a girl can have! You show him any design you want and he has it, he always bringmore new designs & color options . I highly, highly recommend him for everyone! read more
