Luis came out and gave me an estimate of $3886 for 140 feet of red cedar and tearing down and hauling the old fence. I decided to go with them signing the contract on a Friday and the showed up to work that following Tuesday. Carlos and his crew did a great job installing our new Gate and Mailbox post. The cedar looks great. We were happy that they were able to do a more contemporary style that we asked for. A good tip to make process faster: Make sure they are registered with your Village before you pick up the building permit. Also, in our town, the inspector had to come out 2 times. Once to inspect post holes and once the job was complete. What could have taken one day to do ended up being 2 weeks but nothing you can do about that. We do recommend them. I took one star off because the communication could have been a little better. We asked for 30min call before they arrived to do the work so we can leave work to meet them and that did not happen, but overall Good Job. read more

We hired Suarez Fence in June to install a 6 ft. vinyl fence around our back yard and we're very happy with results. The interaction I had with Carlos was great, too. When La Grange village zoning denied our permit for 6 ft. around the side of our house, we had to seek a variance, which took over 2.5 months of delay. Carlos was very patient until the village permitted building. Once given the green light, Carlos' crew (which includes his father) had the fence completed within a week. The final product looks fantastic. His price for vinyl was nearly the equivalent for a cedar fence quoted by another reputed company. The quality of vinyl seems better than other company's samples too, so we're confident this will be maintenance-free for decades. I highly recommend Suarez. read more

We wanted to get a fence first thing after moving in, and Carlos met us at the house right after closing to take final measurements and get our survey. He had already called Julie for the locate marks, so he everything was set to go. He took the survey directly to the city to get the permit, and he started work just a few days later as promised. We contacted Suarez Fence based on the Yelp reviews we saw and they all ended up to be true. We got an estimate over the phone the same day, then they came out the next week to see it in person and offer us some upgrade options if we wanted to do anything beyond the basic options. We scheduled an install day a week out from there. They didn't show up on the day they promised to come out because they got delayed by some rain. I would have appreciated a call or text to let us know that (we didn't find out until I emailed them asking what was going on and they replied that evening). If we didn't work from home and had taken the day off to be there I may have been more upset. Anyway - they promised to be there the next Tuesday and were here and installing on time. The fence looks great and was exactly what we were hoping for. They finished it in one day which was wonderful! Only thing I wish we had known is that you are in charge of the clean up. The works left quite a mess of big mud chunks tracked all over our yard that we had to go pick up and get out of the yard so not to ruin the sod. And any piles of dirt/mud left from where they put in posts are yours to take care of as well. Just a heads up on that since we were not prepared for the mess after!
