Best subs for a quick lunch. Chicken Torpedo, cold Tuna and Grilled Veggie sub are the best

Great small sub shop. Almost a hole in the wall! I got the Rueben and my dad got the philly. They grilled all of the sandwich innards on a flat top grill which really added another element to the Rueben. I would have never considered this place if it hadn't been for Yelp! read more

A good sub shop. Nothing too fancy but consistently good and fairly priced. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here; however, I work nearby and frequent this establishment about once every other week. I typically have them make me a simple club type sub that gets the job done when I'm hungry. My co-workers all seem to be able to find a favorite sub as well. The Torpex and Torpedo seem to be the go-to. The wings are pretty tasty and can be added as part of a combo for a decent price. For a single experience I would give them 3 stars on any given day but I'll happily bump them to 4 stars for the consistency and variety of options. read more

I used to always see this shop on the way to droping my son off at practice and the name always struck me as interesting and I was curious if it was any good. So one day me and my son tried it and we both loved it. I would say it is a great price and better than the chains like Subway, Blimpee, and many more. This is my second attempt to go to this location and finally give up. The first time I came was a few months ago on a Thursday at 2pm (non-holiday) and they were closed. I decided to try it again because the menu looks interesting. I didn't know they closed at 3pm on Saturday (really?) and walked in at 3:07pm. There was a group of Asians sitting and eating. They all turned around like deer in headlights and one guy said, "Um, we're closed". So I left and they immediately locked the door, but the open sign was still on along with the hot wings sign. I checked online and saw their hours. This is the last attempt for me especially when the guy is going to have an attitude when I walk in even though it was a few minutes after closing and their open sign was still on. Ordered the Torpex and it was hands down the BEST sub I've ever tasted. The food came out right off the griddle so it was piping hot! (Just as a side note: be careful & try not to burn yourself when taking the first couple of bites!) Only negative aspect is that they are very busy around lunch time, so it takes some time before you receive your order. However, your patience will most definitely be rewarded. As far as I'm concerned, the wait is worth every second because YES, it's that good! I've never liked subs, but this place has definitely changed my mind. A killer local joint for fresh subs, fries, and wings! The Prices are pretty good, especially on half-off wing day (Every Tuesday). It's also a great option for a gyro if you're craving that. If you want to wait long time for your food, you can give this place a try. We go here regularly, on lunch time there is always a long wait. I have given the place many chances... so it isn't just ONE bad experience. There is one thing of being busy, another thing for "poor service". We waited more than 20 mins for our lunch. Even people ordered after us has gotten their food. When we asked the person in front, they just keep on saying it's coming up. Not even an apology. Togo pick up is just the same. Placed a phone order and was told would be ready in 20-25 min, got there, waited another 20 mins. Took them almost 50 mins to prepare the order from the time i placed the order. And I placed the order at 5:30pm! Not even busy time! The food is not that good for me to continue coming back, wait and receive poor service. read more

We got the Torpedo(philly cheese steak) and the Torpex (buffalo chicken sub). They have the option of customizing your sub which is definitely a plus for me. We both got 11-inch subs with fries and a drink. Our total was around $20 and neither of us could finish our subs because they were huge. Great place for a hot/cold sub. read more

I used Sub of Subs to cater a lunch for a firm with which I've been networking. They made the ordering process very simple and made great recommendations. My order was freshly assembled when I arrived 10 minutes early. Everything was packaged nicely, and the spread looked impressive when I laid it out for the firm. The firm was impressed, and will certainly use them for future business as Sub of Subs even delivers! I think their prices were very reasonable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. TINY wings, barely any sauce at all. Not worth the price or the amount of time you have to wait. Whomever the guy is that works alone he does not do a good job. I have eaten here several times, gave them a lot of chances, but every time that guy works he makes the food in a hurry, the quality is poor. read more
