Troy gets you out the door and Larry ensures that you keep coming back. I've purchased 2 cars from Troy. He's very personable and he always takes care of me. If you're in need of a new car I would highly recommend Troy at Butler Toyota.

Butler Toyota Service has lost my trust. I rarely write reviews, but I am writing this one for two…read morereasons: (1) I believe warning other customers about my experience is the right thing to do, and (2) I hope that one day Macon will have a Toyota dealership service department that operates with integrity. I have been a Butler Toyota customer for more than 10 years and have owned multiple Toyota vehicles serviced there, including a 4Runner, Tundra, and Sequoia. Over the years, I have spent thousands of dollars in their service department. I understand that dealerships charge premium prices, and I have no problem paying more for convenience, quality workmanship, and honest service. Unfortunately, honesty is where Butler Toyota failed. The final straw occurred on June 17, 2026. My wife's vehicle was brought in for service, and I was told that every lug nut on the vehicle needed to be replaced because of safety concerns and the possibility that they could not be removed in the event of a flat tire. Later that same day, I brought my truck in to repair a tire with a nail in it. Once again, I was told that all of the lug nuts needed to be replaced and that the tire could not even be removed because of their condition. What makes this difficult to believe is that Butler Toyota has been the sole service provider for both vehicles for years. They have rotated the tires numerous times on both vehicles during the past two years and never once mentioned a lug nut issue. Are we really expected to believe that all 40 lug nuts on two separate vehicles suddenly became defective at the same time? I returned to the dealership parking lot with my own impact wrench and successfully removed and reinstalled the lug nuts myself without difficulty. After I challenged their diagnosis, the explanation changed. Initially, I was told the lug nuts were "rounding off." Later, I was told they were "swollen." I was still able to remove and reinstall them with no issue. What concerns me most is that Butler Toyota originally intended to repair my tire. However, after I questioned their lug nut recommendation, they changed their position and suddenly claimed it was unsafe to repair the tire. I left the dealership with a nail still in my tire despite having purchased the tires there and despite being sold on the value of their roadside hazard warranty. The following morning, another service department repaired the tire in less than five minutes. As a result of this experience, Butler Toyota has lost our business. We have purchased tires from them, serviced multiple vehicles there for years, and spent thousands of dollars in their service department. Yet despite countless service visits, we were never told that either vehicle had lug nut issues until both vehicles were brought in on the same day. I encourage Toyota to investigate how this service department is representing the Toyota brand. Based on my experience, the service department relies on pressure sales tactics and inconsistent explanations to upsell repairs that may not be necessary.

You get the KBB estimate, decide it's not too bad. You go there and they say kbb is just a tool and their tool they use is wayyy lower based off of whatever they want to say in order to low ball the trade. Keep in mind kbb uses avg of all sales and purchases to give you these trade in prices. Well here is where you get played, they say this amount ($$) is the best we can do. They tell you they don't have a margin to be able to offer more based off "their business" model. They suggest hey we are a certified CARMX certified trade company or something like that. Send in the vin an miles and pics and they will give you a price which is usually more than our. We can use that amount as a trade and CARMAX will come pick the car up and sale it because we can't make a better profit. They already know what CARMAX offer will be and come in lower in order to insinuate CARMAX offers more because they make their profits on the finance side rather than the sale side. We guess what, they didn't sell the vehicle (little blue SUV on their lot) to CARMAX as they said they were because there is not profit in it. They chose to keep it and list it for more than $8K more lol. They lied about this on the front end and the back end in order to get you thinking they were not going to keep it to sell based off no profit to be made, then turn around and keep it to make $8k. No profit?, LOL. You would think a dealer would want home town return customers and to maintain them they build relationships of trust and mutual understanding, I have no doubt a company want to make a profit and 3 to 5K would be not unreasonable but to gauge for $8k and lie up front about it, nope!! ** This is in now way reflective of the service department, we have owned several Lexus vehicles and the service department there is very very good. I just wanted to put this out there.

To be honest I've never looked at a QX80 before because I loved my 2021 Cadillac body style and being unique. After the test drive I was sold and so was my husband. They amount we got for our trade was beyond fair and 5k more than Carvana. Justin in finance was cool and very informative. Robert came and closed out the deal after Jenae left and his customer service was great as well. Brooke up front was very hospitable as soon as we walked in. I think there GM is Andy??? Forgive me if that name is wrong but I how he grew his beard back lol He sat down while we were waiting and chopped it up with us (talked) until he left. ***LEGAL CASE AGAINST DEALERSHIP PENDING***…read more I imagine Infiniti USA Corporate is frustrated with how this dealership represents the Infiniti brand--I personally spoke with Infiniti USA's VP of the Region (who was a class act and helped with finding a resolution on behalf of corporate). However, this dealership is owned by Grand Motor Cars, which is a separate entity from Infiniti USA. I'm in Charleston but drove down to Grand Infiniti of Macon to purchase a used QX60. I've since been on a 7-month ordeal that has cost me THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS and decreased my credit rating by 74 POINTS. I could write a short novel on this, but here's the cliff notes summary: HIGHER THAN ADVERTISED MILEAGE (photos below) - The car had 5,000 MORE MILES than their website showed--(37,965 vs 42,590). That alone raised serious concerns about the accuracy of the information presented during the sales process. If I didn't just drive 4 hours from South Carolina, I would have walked away then. ENGINE FILLED WITH SLUDGE - The dealership was aware of this months before I purchased the car, but they of course didn't disclose it. A few days after I purchased the car, the engine began having issues--rapidly losing oil and making strange noises. Over the next couple of months, I serviced the car at an Infiniti dealership in South Carolina on multiple occasions. Eventually they discovered sludge in the engine and found this had been previously internally documented. NEW ENGINE NEEDED & BRANDED TITLE -- After discovering the sludge issue, the South Carolina Infiniti dealership notified me that the car needed a new engine. When they requested from Infiniti Corporate that the engine replacement be covered by warranty, they corporate denied it. Infiniti Corporate had voided the engine warranty 6-months BEFORE I purchased the vehicle, but somewhere alond the lines, this was never reported by the dealerships, and so obviously wasn't disclosed to me. Had I known about it, I never would have purchased the vehicle. FRAUDULANT VEHICLE REPORTS (see photos) - Despite the issues above, the Macon dealership provided me with vehicle reports that showed the vehicle was in flawless condition--no engine issues, full warranty intact, no branded title, etc. OTHER ISSUES These are less serious issue but took away some of the confidence and excitement of purchasing a car. I just purchased a $35,000 car and they wouldn't even had the decency to provide some the basic services: -Engine coolant was completely empty -Windshield wiper fluid was completely empty -Engine oil near empty -Key fobs: 1 was dead and the other was near dead -Car was absolutely FILTHY, inside and out--their cleaning crew had gone home for the day, so I had to clean it myself the next day. You'd think they had it cleaned at some point prior. ^ The level of disrespect you must have for your customers to sell them a car with no coolant, no wiper fluid, low engine oil, and dead key fobs just to save themselves $50 is unprecedented. DEALERSHIP DID NOT PAY OFF MY TRADE-IN FOR 3 MONTHS (see photos) - Dealership also failed to pay off the loan on my trade-in vehicle for approximately three months, despite that being part of our purchase agreement. - Multiple late payments were reported to the credit bureaus, - Credit score dropped 74 points - Received communications threatening repossession on a vehicle I no longer owned. Over the following months, I spent dozens of hours making phone calls, gathering documents, following up, and trying to resolve issues that should never have existed in the first place. Instead of enjoying the vehicle I had worked so hard to purchase, I was dealing with uncertainty, frustration, financial stress, and a complete loss of confidence in the dealership. DEALERSHIP: ROBERT BARRIAN - Sales rep / my main POC - he's essentially the one who didn't disclose any of the car's issues (assuming he was aware) JUSTIN SCOTT - Finance manager. My trade-off was late by 3 months. ANDY MASON - Sales General Manager - initially tried to help me, but once he realized the situation, he was tough to get ahold of. DAVID MULLIS - Dealership General Manager - I asked the dealership to take back the vehicle; he declined and told me I "purchased as is". Of course, not disclosing the aforementioned issues is fraudulent and illegal. He was incredibly rude during our one phone call.

He left shortly after and then we found out what dealing with this dealership was really like. Service department gave us the run around and told us a STARS case would need to be opened on something that seemed simple on a vehicle with 2,000 miles on it and then proceeded to tell us that we would need to leave it but they didn't know how many days before they could get to it. Fast forward two weeks of waiting for a call for them to call to "work us in" and going back and forth with them and waiting for a call back from the GM and service manager, on a whim, called VW dealer in Warner Robins who got us in next day and vehicle was fixed within 3 hours. We did not tell them about the experience at Jackson VW in Macon until we went to pick it up but they agreed that it was something simple and took them 45 minutes to do this warranty work. They were shocked of what we experienced. Will never again go to Volkswagen of Macon, GA.

However, the information given about my vehicle was WRONG and almost cost me thousands of dollars. I took my car in to be diagnosed as the Warranty company said please take it to the dealership in which we did. They tried to tell me that my transmission cooler line had rubeed against a sensor and popped it, causing the transmission to be no good and said they were throwing CVT trans codes when hooked to the scanner indicating the transmission was bad. My husband spoke to them and they said if warranty covered it, the cost would be roughly $4800.00. When they called to let us know warranty was sending an inspector out, and that warranty denied the claim I knew something was up. We have one of the best warrantys you could ask for, warranty caught on to the fact they were trying to get more money out of them. Picked my car up after they told me $7050.00 (roughly) to replace the transmission. We then asked warranty could we get a second opinion, took it to Gibsons Garage (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED), they did confirm the line was busted, and warranty would not cover the line under drive train. However they had NO trans codes coming up. They replaced the line, added a half quart, to a quart of trans fluid, and my cars been good as new, not to mention they saved me almost 7 thousand dollars. I will NEVER recommend anyone to take their car here. Theyre just out for the money and not looking out for their customer.
