Kayla was my assigned Service Asvisor. The dealership is easy to find and plenty of space to pull up and be received. Kayla explained the first service includes tire rotation, brake check, tire check and fluids top off! The estimated wait was an hour and 45 minutes but everything was completed within an an hour and 15 Minutes. The waiting area is spacious and conducive to remote working. There are private booths for a more quiet experience! Coffee, water, sodas are available for consumption. Overall great experience, will revisit!

Service department gave us the run around and told us a STARS case would need to be opened on something that seemed simple on a vehicle with 2,000 miles on it and then proceeded to tell us that we would need to leave it but they didn't know how many days before they could get to it. Fast forward two weeks of waiting for a call for them to call to "work us in" and going back and forth with them and waiting for a call back from the GM and service manager, on a whim, called VW dealer in Warner Robins who got us in next day and vehicle was fixed within 3 hours. We did not tell them about the experience at Jackson VW in Macon until we went to pick it up but they agreed that it was something simple and took them 45 minutes to do this warranty work. I asked the young lady for an appointment that would get her vehicle in immediately and out quickly with minimum wait. She said either 8 am or 1 pm. It took 4 hours for an oil change. The friend I had bring it has an appointment immediately after this and now I feel bad he had to wait, rush the car back to us so he can make his appointment. He didn't tell me he was still waiting for the vehicle since he is an introvert. I sent him a thank you text to only find out he was still there waiting on it. This is not acceptable. If you had some type of delay I should have been notified immediately. Totally unacceptable.

After paying over $7,000, we walked out to the car with the technician only to find the key fob was dead. The technician manually unlocked the door and discovered the headlights had been left on. Our car had been parked with the headlights and taillights on for SIX AND A HALF DAYS. The headlights were facing the side of the dealership building--how does no one notice this? Do they not have security cameras, guards, or lot checks? To make matters worse, the battery was brand-new (purchased right before my trip to Macon). Leaving a battery completely drained for a week ruins its long-term lifespan. Instead of offering to replace the battery they damaged, the technician jumped the car and told me I just needed to "drive for 20 minutes" to charge it. I told him we had planned to take our two sons (who are in law school) to lunch in Macon and visit a dear friend's mother in the hospital. The tech just repeated that we had to keep driving or we'd get stranded. Because of their negligence, our family plans were completely ruined and we had to drive straight back to Alma. This dealership completely failed at basic vehicle care and customer service. They do not own up to their mistakes. Avoid this service department. However, the information given about my vehicle was WRONG and almost cost me thousands of dollars. I took my car in to be diagnosed as the Warranty company said please take it to the dealership in which we did. They tried to tell me that my transmission cooler line had rubeed against a sensor and popped it, causing the transmission to be no good and said they were throwing CVT trans codes when hooked to the scanner indicating the transmission was bad. My husband spoke to them and they said if warranty covered it, the cost would be roughly $4800.00. When they called to let us know warranty was sending an inspector out, and that warranty denied the claim I knew something was up. We have one of the best warrantys you could ask for, warranty caught on to the fact they were trying to get more money out of them. Picked my car up after they told me $7050.00 (roughly) to replace the transmission. We then asked warranty could we get a second opinion, took it to Gibsons Garage (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED), they did confirm the line was busted, and warranty would not cover the line under drive train. However they had NO trans codes coming up. They replaced the line, added a half quart, to a quart of trans fluid, and my cars been good as new, not to mention they saved me almost 7 thousand dollars. I will NEVER recommend anyone to take their car here. Theyre just out for the money and not looking out for their customer.
