Keep in mind kbb uses avg of all sales and purchases to give you these trade in prices. Well here is where you get played, they say this amount ($$) is the best we can do. They tell you they don't have a margin to be able to offer more based off "their business" model. They suggest hey we are a certified CARMX certified trade company or something like that. Send in the vin an miles and pics and they will give you a price which is usually more than our. We can use that amount as a trade and CARMAX will come pick the car up and sale it because we can't make a better profit. They already know what CARMAX offer will be and come in lower in order to insinuate CARMAX offers more because they make their profits on the finance side rather than the sale side. We guess what, they didn't sell the vehicle (little blue SUV on their lot) to CARMAX as they said they were because there is not profit in it. They chose to keep it and list it for more than $8K more lol. They lied about this on the front end and the back end in order to get you thinking they were not going to keep it to sell based off no profit to be made, then turn around and keep it to make $8k. No profit?, LOL. You would think a dealer would want home town return customers and to maintain them they build relationships of trust and mutual understanding, I have no doubt a company want to make a profit and 3 to 5K would be not unreasonable but to gauge for $8k and lie up front about it, nope!! ** This is in now way reflective of the service department, we have owned several Lexus vehicles and the service department there is very very good. The push to start and keyless entry would not work at all and the key fob wouldn't work from the outside unless you were standing with the vehicle. So. I take it to them again. They fix it and it seems to be fine. They forget to plug in the gas cap release button SO I TAKE IT UP THERE AGAIN!!!! Now all seems well after this last time. The keyless entry and push to start work fine but shortly after I realize from outside the vehicle pushing the buttons on my key fob only works sometimes. I replaced the key fob batteries. Doesn't help. ANNOYED to say the least. I called them and guess what they say? I NEED ANOTHER WIN?? A THIRD ONE??? And why? "Because it's a Dodge and they make terrible products." I am done. I want my money back. I want everyone to know that these guys may be great at some things but DON'T expect them to fix a WIN MODULE!!! They took pictures a month later. They gave me a car with dirt all over it spiders all over it and a few inside., they Mitch match the car with things like silver trimming when things should be blacked out they Mitch match different spots that were customized and blacked out. My front bumper was not even completely attached. They had random scratches on the car. My dashboard is now rattling when I turn on AC there is a smell like no other that I cannot get rid of. They kept part that they had to replace that comes as a set of two so they put one on the car and kept the other. I have not received that one through mail as I requested my rim where they did their repairs are scratched up and all of these things have been verified through my pictures before I release the card to them and been confirmed by their advisor Stephanie with me and her going through a walk-through after I had to go back to location and point out new scratches and new damage, she confirmed on her iPad that certain scratches were not there. Certain things were not there. The Customer Service is very poor. Once you kindly point out things that they mismatched or did additional damage you can tell that they put you in a category as a problematic customer even if you're very pleasant so again my experience and advice is if you want your car that you take very good care of to be treated like crap and return to you looking like someone else's car not even your car that you customized and if you want very poor Customer Service and people giving you disgusting looks because they know who you are when you walk through the door then you should try them. If not, I don't recommend at all. They made right under $12,000 on my car and now I have to figure out why my car is rattling. I have these scratches on my rims. I called a friend who lives in Macon, told him where we were and he directed us to Larry's shop. We made it there a few minutes later and Larry and Gail were ready for us. They quickly got us in and diagnosed the issue as a bad alternator. Two hours later and with a very fair price paid, we were back on the road! Please note this was on a busy Friday afternoon, and Larry recognized how stressful the situation was for all of us, so he went above and beyond to take care of us, when he easily could have pushed us down the line, making us get a rental car and costing hundreds of dollars more.
