He learned his colors, how to count, how to color, and how to write his letters. Beyond academics, he made close, wonderful friends in the class. The teachers are absolutely amazing, patient, and caring. The seasonal camps have been an absolute blessing. They offer unique, hands-on experiences that my son still talks about. He was able to pet farm animals, touch a snake, and learn all about music and outer space. He even learned how to swim over the summer thanks to their amazing coaches! If you have a toddler and are looking for a way to relax, workout, or just enjoy some self-care time, this is the place to be. The family membership includes up to 3 hours of childcare per day! This amenity is truly how I keep my sanity as a parent. I would recommend Kids World to anyone. It is worth every single penny!

Instead on this trip, I had a free room available in my account, which I wanted to redeem before expiring. First of all, the front desk people are very sweet and were very knowledgeable about the hotel and the amenities included. It was also around $35 for overnight parking, which I guess was okay considering I was only staying one night. The parking garage is adjacent to the hotel. Couple of the reasons I came is for the swimming pool and the gym. It seems this is what the hotel revolves around; that and the kid care. Entering into the hotel room, it was super clean and very nice. They have a no-smoking policy in the room, which I love because certain hotels don't have that kind of policy and the rooms smells horrible. When I woke up in the morning, I had a view of the pool and spa. It seemed there was a class in the pool and it looked really fun and I didn't know they had classes. Unfortunately, I didn't have any time to see the gym, but I will my next trip to this hotel. Next time I head to this hotel, I'll have more to review but for now, this is all I have to say. I was a little tentative about trying out kickboxing - I had been a long-distance runner in the past and this was out of my comfort zone - but after doing a trial session in October 2023, I signed up on the spot because it was clear that evening that this was the type of thing I was looking for. All the trainers so far have been fantastic, and the ability to drop in at any time during opening hours to get my workout in has been a godsend since my work schedule is a little hectic and I sometimes don't know when I'll be getting off. Being able to get an entire workout done in 30 minutes, and a workout that actually *feels* like a good workout, is also amazing. I'm about 6 months in to getting 2-3 sessions in a week and I can feel the difference in my body. I'm significantly stronger, and in some ways even more so than I was when I was distance running. The monthly price might feel a little steep, but I've not regretted one penny that I've spent at this gym. I only wish I had more friends in the area to refer them to this 30 Minute Hit location to help boost the community aspect of the gym.

The equipment is clean, well maintained, and there is a strong variety without the constant frustration of not having enough of what you need. The classes are excellent, easily as good as you will find anywhere, and the overall culture on the gym floor is a real plus. People are there to work out, not just socialize. The locker rooms are also a standout, consistently clean and clearly maintained throughout the day, and the front desk team is always friendly, professional, and welcoming while still feeling genuine (even though they are coached im sure). What really sets this location apart is how well it works for families. The kids club is far better than basic childcare, with a wide range of activities like sports skills, art, Spanish, and wall climbing. The pool area is also great for the whole family, with attentive lifeguards, fun family spaces, a separate adults-only area to relax, and good food and drinks available during the summer. It feels like a place where both parents and kids can genuinely enjoy spending time. A few things keep it from being perfect. It would be reasonable to include Parents Night Out in the already high monthly family membership rather than charging extra per child, especially since other Life Time locations do. It is also disappointing that the exceptional basketball courts are gone. Pickleball is clearly in demand, but keeping at least part of the space for a half-court basketball setup would have been a better balance. The old basketball league was a great part of the club, and it is hard not to miss it. We used to belong to the ClubSport Rennissance and it had a lot to offer too - but LT works better for us due to the better pool and kids club, nicer equipment, and more premium feel.

I acknowledge that I should have not reviewed the contract more carefully before signing it, and I accept responsibility for that. However, I still find this cancellation policy and the way my request has been handled to be unreasonable and unfair, particularly when I clearly communicated that I wanted to terminate my membership. Based on my experience, I strongly encourage prospective members to carefully review all cancellation terms before signing any agreement and to consider other gyms with more straightforward and customer-friendly cancellation policies.

LOCKER "SECURITY " NEARLY COST ME MY IDENTITY…read more I've been a member here for a while, but after what happened this week, I can't in good conscience recommend this gym to anyone. I came back from my workout to find my locker lock had been cut off. Turns out staff claimed another member's keys were locked inside my locker and cut the lock to retrieve them -- without ever attempting to identify or contact me first, even though I was actively in the gym working out at the time. A quick page over the intercom or any attempt to find locker owner would have been the responsible move Here's the worse part: my backpack was in that locker, and my credit card was stolen out of it. While I was still on the gym floor, someone made purchases with my card. This wasn't a random opportunistic theft -- it happened specifically because staff cut my lock open and left my belongings exposed. I immediately reported it to the manager on duty, expecting some urgency given that this smells like an inside job. Instead, I got a shrug and zero follow-up. No incident report offered, no review of who had access, no acknowledgment that their own process (cutting a lock without verifying ownership) is what created the opportunity for this theft in the first place. If you're a member here, do not leave valuables in the lockers -- the locks can and will be cut without warning or verification, and management does not take resulting theft seriously. I've contacted my bank to dispute the charges and will be filing a police report. Looking into other gyms in the area at this point.

Outstanding Leadership from Club Manager Jarel A…read more I wanted to take a moment to recognize Jarel A., the Club Manager at the LA Fitness in Mission Viejo, for the exceptional job he does. It is increasingly rare to find managers who genuinely care about both their members and their team, but Jarel is exactly that kind of leader. From the moment you walk into the club, it's clear that he takes great pride in creating a welcoming, positive, and well-run environment. Obviously, as you would expect, he is friendly, approachable and professional. However it's the leadership he exhibited today which for me, has earned him significant praise. I came into the club today, extremely frustrated about a situation. Not an easily solved issue to say the least. I came in to see someone else and when I asked for that person, instead of Jarel assuming the issue would be addressed by the other staff member, he asked if there's anything he could do to help. He didn't avoid it. He could have just thought, "Well I'd help but I'm busy." He didn't just assume it would be taking care of by someone else. He dropped what he was busy doing and helped me. Jarel A. was able to calmly and thoroughly walk with me through the situation and when he understood what was going on, he came up with a solution I hadn't even thought of. When I have needed assistance, I felt ignored rather than treated with the level of professionalism and respect that customers should receive. The front desk is supposed to be the first point of contact for members, so communication, courtesy, and customer service should be a basic part of the job. Unfortunately, my experience has been that some staff members selectively choose whom they communicate with and whom they assist, which made me feel unfairly treated and unwelcome. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and provides better training and accountability for the front-desk staff. Members are paying for a service and deserve to be treated respectfully and consistently.

My husband has been inviting me to join him here and I have been too scared to try. I have not worked out in years. I can't believe how wonderful everyone was, and the coach modified the workout for me and was by my side the whole time. So much love and encouragement. I am a little teary eyed writing this actually. I can't wait to go back.
