Rachel has done an excellent job of making the gym relaxed enough that you don't feel judge and intense enough to kick your butt to hit your goals.

I have no idea where these negative reviews are coming from. Life Time in Laguna Niguel is an…read moreoutstanding gym and health club overall. The equipment is clean, well maintained, and there is a strong variety without the constant frustration of not having enough of what you need. The classes are excellent, easily as good as you will find anywhere, and the overall culture on the gym floor is a real plus. People are there to work out, not just socialize. The locker rooms are also a standout, consistently clean and clearly maintained throughout the day, and the front desk team is always friendly, professional, and welcoming while still feeling genuine (even though they are coached im sure). What really sets this location apart is how well it works for families. The kids club is far better than basic childcare, with a wide range of activities like sports skills, art, Spanish, and wall climbing. The pool area is also great for the whole family, with attentive lifeguards, fun family spaces, a separate adults-only area to relax, and good food and drinks available during the summer. It feels like a place where both parents and kids can genuinely enjoy spending time. A few things keep it from being perfect. It would be reasonable to include Parents Night Out in the already high monthly family membership rather than charging extra per child, especially since other Life Time locations do. It is also disappointing that the exceptional basketball courts are gone. Pickleball is clearly in demand, but keeping at least part of the space for a half-court basketball setup would have been a better balance. The old basketball league was a great part of the club, and it is hard not to miss it. We used to belong to the ClubSport Rennissance and it had a lot to offer too - but LT works better for us due to the better pool and kids club, nicer equipment, and more premium feel.

But since I've been going to the gym for 3 years now here are some critiques The hip thrust machine always has a line. Please invest in another hip thrust machine or two because it truly is one of the most popular machines for the girls. There is only one smith machine. There is always a line for the smith machine as well. I've also had a lot of issues with people placing their stuff on equipment and walking away like that claims the machine. There needs to be a sign that says you can't put your stuff on an equipment and walking away for 10 mins. It's very frustrating for a mom that only has a certain amount of time to workout while my kid is in daycare. My app has not worked to make a daycare appointment for months. I've mentioned this several times and the management needs to help the daycare with this issue. The daycare hours have made me truly considering canceling and going to lifetime since that is honestly the only reason I go to this gym. They should be open on sundays and not have a 4 hour gap in the middle of the day.

Trying to cancel a membership here has been a nightmare. I reached out multiple times over the course of months with no response, yet continued to be charged. Getting in touch with customer service is nearly impossible, and when you do, nothing gets resolved. Between the overcrowding, lack of available equipment, and the complete failure in basic customer service, this has easily been the worst gym experience I've ever had. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that actually values its members. I'd genuinely rather work out in a park than deal with this again.

It's pretty small space that is separated to 3 main areas: front stretching area and two rooms that are used for the gym sessions. There are little cubicles in the hallway to stow your stuff and a small recovery room and bathroom. Everything was very clean and towels are provided. The class is about roughly a 35-40 minute class. There are multiple stations where you do 2 sets of 45 seconds and as many reps as possible in that time. You rotate through quite a few stations. Overall, it is a pretty good workout. It's not the hardest HIIT class I've been to, but I like it for one big reason and the main reason for the 5 stars: the machines. I've been to many different style HIIT classes and this is the only one that has machines incorporated for isolations. From a bicep curl machine, hip thrust machine, leg curl machines, smith machine, and my favorite: the leg press. I don't have room for a leg press at my home gym so this was nice to use again. Lu, the owner/trainee, does a great job and not only remembering everyone's names, but capabilities. He also does a great job bouncing around help setting up machines and correcting form while the workout is going on. I have 2 minor negatives: 1: I'm not a fan of at the rack with the bar for bench press you start from the safeties. I get why they do it for more efficiency when switching between people, but much rather start from the J cups. 2: stretching is not built in so you have to get here early and stretch on your own. Overall, I've added this gym to my regular rotation of gyms I go to for HIIT classes each week, not really for the difficulty but for the incorporation of the machines into it. I still get a good workout, my HR just isn't as high as other gyms. The culture seems pretty good as regular members seem to know each other well and Lu knows each person well. Would recommend if you live close.

The gym itself is clean, spacious, and laid out perfectly -- nothing feels cramped or poorly placed. Everyone who goes here is actually there to work out. People are kind, respectful, and courteous, and you don't deal with the space-hogging or awkward gym behavior you see elsewhere. As a mom, the 24-hour access is everything. On days when you can't commit to a specific time due to all the different schedules kids have but still need to get your workout in, it's a total game changer. The equipment is truly top-tier -- honestly the best I've seen, and I've been to a lot of gyms over the years. You can tell real thought went into what they offer. On top of all of that, Ashley, the manager, is incredible. She is so kind, caring, and courteous, and truly exceeds expectations as a manager. She's also extremely responsive and makes you feel genuinely supported, which adds so much to the overall experience. I'm genuinely obsessed with this place. It is 100% worth the price, and I continue to be impressed every time I walk in.

The fact that the staff knows every single child and parent by name is amazing and creates such a welcoming environment. My son did the Leaping Learners program last year and thrived. He learned his colors, how to count, how to color, and how to write his letters. Beyond academics, he made close, wonderful friends in the class. The teachers are absolutely amazing, patient, and caring. The seasonal camps have been an absolute blessing. They offer unique, hands-on experiences that my son still talks about. He was able to pet farm animals, touch a snake, and learn all about music and outer space. He even learned how to swim over the summer thanks to their amazing coaches! If you have a toddler and are looking for a way to relax, workout, or just enjoy some self-care time, this is the place to be. The family membership includes up to 3 hours of childcare per day! This amenity is truly how I keep my sanity as a parent. I would recommend Kids World to anyone. It is worth every single penny!

Stayed here overnight and this hotel does NOT disappoint!…read more I came here a couple years earlier for an overnight stay, just like this trip I went on. Instead on this trip, I had a free room available in my account, which I wanted to redeem before expiring. First of all, the front desk people are very sweet and were very knowledgeable about the hotel and the amenities included. It was also around $35 for overnight parking, which I guess was okay considering I was only staying one night. The parking garage is adjacent to the hotel. Couple of the reasons I came is for the swimming pool and the gym. It seems this is what the hotel revolves around; that and the kid care. Entering into the hotel room, it was super clean and very nice. They have a no-smoking policy in the room, which I love because certain hotels don't have that kind of policy and the rooms smells horrible. When I woke up in the morning, I had a view of the pool and spa. It seemed there was a class in the pool and it looked really fun and I didn't know they had classes. Unfortunately, I didn't have any time to see the gym, but I will my next trip to this hotel. Next time I head to this hotel, I'll have more to review but for now, this is all I have to say. Thank you, Marriott!

We saw on their IG that they had a deal going where you can purchase a day pass for $25 and then bring a friend for $10. The person working the front desk said she needed permission from the owner to run this deal. He said no. We were already there so we paid for 2. Decided to warm up with cardio and headed over the cardio area. I got on a treadmill that was open and immediately had a lady get in my face and yell that that was her treadmill and to get off. We did our workout and on our way out the person at the front counter asked if we would like to sign up. We said no, when asked why I mentioned the deal not being honored but hearing it being honored to other people. The. I mentioned the overly aggressive exchange with the lady on the treadmill. The front desk person wanted to know who it was immediately but when I described them I was told that she was the owner's girlfriend so there was nothing she could do about it.
