Excellent food, out of the ordinary cuisine and tasty too. Parking is very tricky and the bar has very hard seating but the vibe is pretty good. Staff are friendly and chatty and with the food make a good visit. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. They even have craft beer so this is a win win situation. We will be back. Any other time I would have gave them 4-5 stars. Got the tenderloin and it was fried hard like a cracklin. Called and got it replaced and it was hard dry as was the bun. When we order our bill is $50- $70. I didn't call the second time because I have to get up at 4am for work and it was to late to wait longer for replacement. My husband's sub bun was overcooked. Terrible service. Terrible pizza. Ordered a pizza. Pizza was brought out by someone else. My server never back came to my table. My pizza was wrong. I waited a very long time. After a while I realized my server was sitting down and DRINKING A BEER at the bar. Servers passed me but none stopped. Finally I flagged one down. I told him my server never came back and he said he was my server now (first one never told me she was done) I explained the pizza was wrong so he had them remake. Brings it back out and it's completely doughy I ask for him to put back in. And hour and a half and the pizza was just okay but very light on toppings. Gave me two dollars off of a $20 pizza. Anyone who says the subs aren't awesome is crazy. If you don't think it's enough meat you need to order the super cheese steak. I do think it's a little pricey but everything is these days. Service it's here and there. I've had lack luster servers but I've have very attentive ones too. Oh and the fried pickles... Killer. read more

Tried to eat some food here during Gentlemen of the Road. The "bouncer" refused to let me in with the sign I was carrying, but I guess some bouncers are intentionally anti-satisfaction oriented because they 'can' be. Probably wasn't missing much, as their food I'm sure contains GMO's. read more

We had food delivered to our home. The food was OK but the delivery took an hour and 20 minutes to get here. One plus was the delivery driver was dresses as Santa. My son loved that. All and all the chicken cheese steak, cheese steak, and onion rings were pretty good. read more

Been here several times - some time ago - and loved it... they have great "little beers"! However, in the past year (2017-2018), Ive been there to share with guests (4-5 of us) and we ended up somewhere else. We stood there for 30 min each of the four times to watch tables finished, but not moving, walking the establishment to find a seat just to end up back at the front door, and NOT once did staff check on us to even offer drinks while we wait. I hope they do well with the handful they entertain, think this is why Troy cant keep anything nice, and am disappointed in what was a first couple of trips that I had there compared to what has been recently ...and then embarrassed I recommended the place to friends as a great place to dine and socialize. I wont do it again. If you go, and there isnt a seat immediately, leave before you waste your evening for a place that apparently doesnt need your business. read more

This is more than anything a bar. Its the most popular bar in Troy, and fills up to standing room only left on Saturday and Friday, and when colleges are on break and students return home to Troy. Generally this is a mixed crowd age wise and everyone could feel comfortable here. Its a good bar for mingling, but will have loud music playing at night. If you're going to go out for drinks on a week day in Troy this is your best bet. read more
