Our drinks came out fairly quickly, and the staff seemed attentive at first. After about 40 minutes, we asked about our food and were told it would be out soon. Another 20 minutes passed with no food, and we noticed tables that were seated after us were already eating. By this point, our drinks had been empty for over 30 minutes, and nobody offered refills or checked on us. Around 65 minutes after placing our order, we asked again where our food was. Yes, the restaurant was busy when we arrived, but by then most of the restaurant had already been served. We could also hear staff in the back arguing loudly enough for customers to hear about how long the order had been waiting. At around 70 minutes, we asked for a manager and were told there wasn't one available, which is unacceptable for a restaurant. Eventually they comped the food -- which still had not arrived -- but still charged us for drinks. The attitude from staff also became noticeably rude and dismissive. The most frustrating part was that multiple employees walked past our table, saw four empty glasses, and never once offered refills or even an update. This is actually my first Yelp review because I normally do not complain publicly, but this experience was bad enough that I felt people should know before spending their time and money here.

We catered our own food and drinks and the kitchen area was clean and ready to hold everything. We were able to play music through the venue's system and there was a tv (with fire stick access) so you can stream things there as well. The venue is right in downtown Troy. We were able to walk to the brewery and other bars in the area once we ended the reunion. Parking is a breeze as there is plenty of street parking and the place is easy to find. Tonight, as is often the case, the side salad was in the bag on top of the hot food. If it had stayed there for the twenty minute ride home, it would have been well and truly wilted. I removed it but it was late, and dark, and I didn't see that the salad was also not fresh: some of the lettuce had black slimy bits. The raspberry topping was missing from the order. When I went inside the store to get the raspberry topping, the kid who was helping me tried to give me a packet of raspberry salad dressing. At least when I did get the actual topping there was a solid lid on the container rather than the dome lid with the large hole on top that seems to be Culver's default when it is ordered to-go (this makes NO sense to me when you're filling to-go orders: people need to get their food home without spilling it. Those dome lids are the next best thing to handing customers cups of topping without any lid at all). Just a little common sense and attention to detail would make me a happy customer. Sad to say, at the Troy Culver's I can't remember the last time all the items ordered were in the bag, or that there wasn't something wrong with the food itself. This all really makes me think I'd rather skip Culver's and just go somewhere else.
