Delicious sandwiches that really hit the spot! This place is brand new and I am so glad we found it! We got to talk to the manager and they have such an awesome selection of sandwiches. Most definitely will come back to try each one. There are plenty of vegan options. We got The Frank Sinatra which had vegan meatballs, vegan cheese, marinara sauce, and it didn't taste vegan at all. We also got the JB44 named after the owner's son. Staple sandwich that I just happened to have a craving for. The most popular one is the Zuckerberg, HeyKid, and Mike Tyson. I want to try those + Steve Jobs, + French Dip, + Sloppy Joban! They have outdoor seating in the shade, chips, drinks, and cookies. The manager and the staff were all very sweet people. Came here on a whim, was actually already thinking Togo's on my drive to lunch and saw a sign for this place. Literally in the parking lot of Togo's looked up this location and drove a few blocks further up. Once inside, the staff was friendly, went over the menu. I decided on the Larry King. I saw the pretty common unique sandwich names that most other places do. The sandwich was good, the meat portion I'd say was slightly less than of competitors, the produce was comparable. If there was something lacking it was the bread, it wasn't terrible but it seemed a little bit dry and chewy. I will give this place another try because everyone has a off day and also I'd prefer supporting a local smaller company. read more

My friend and I stopped by Subs A Licious on the way to a hike, and I would definitely return if I was ever in the area again. SAL reminds me a lot of Ike's Subs, but better. It's local and the subs aren't so weighed down by sauce and junk. But the vibe is similar: various subs with silly names and a reasonably sized vegan list too. The subs are yummy!! I got the vegan meatball, and the meatballs were so close to a regular meatball that I thought maybe they gave me the wrong thing (no, they didn't). There's many options and different ways to customize your sandwich. I try a new one every time I come in. Hands down the best sub I've ever had! I got the Zuckerberg. It had the most juicy, most, and fresh chicken with crispy bacon, fresh avocado, and some amazing red onions with chipotle sauce. I noticed a guy on the sidewalk with a big sign on Camden. He was at a light, which was red. He was telling the driver in front of me about how good the sandwiches are at this place. He strongly recommended the Say Hey Kid sandwich. I was hungry after just finishing an extended workout, so I pulled into a small strip mall at Camden and Leigh. I ordered the Say Hey Kid sandwich and observed the scene. Found out that the guy on the street corner was the owner, and his wife was handling the register! It was a great sandwich, with chicken and Boar's Head beef and bacon bits and lettuce and tomato. The sauce pulls it together. They call it Lightening Sauce. I could have used more sauce, so took note to self to order my next sandwich from here with extra sauce. They opened during the pandemic. Takes courage. The sandwich was great. This place is amazing! Our family hits this place up at least once every weekend and we are never disappointed. I usually get the French Dip or the Godfather. They also have chips, sides, salads, vegan sandwich options, deserts, shakes, and if you come in the morning, several breakfast sandwich choices. Staff was very friendly and interior was clean and looked setup for covid. You can order online for pickup (or delivery - although I don't know how delivery works). If you order online, they don't have a way of removing ingredients or ordering a completely custom sandwich (but hey do have options for add-ons). I tried their "Zuckerberg" and the "Koby Bryant," both were very tasty. Nice dressing combinations. They gave me a cookie along with each sandwich I ordered, not sure if that was normal. sooooooo flipping tasty! I ordered the Zuckerberg and my mouth is watering at the thought of it lol. I am gluten free (celiac) and they were SUPER careful to use a clean station, new gloves and new sauce that wasn't dipped/used for regular bread. I had zero reactions to the sandwich. We tried their Zuckerberg and it has just the right amount of spice and sauce on the Dutch crunch - suuuuper yummy. We also had a PBJ and I totally love that they have a kids menu which is super rare in sandwich places and makes it hard getting sandwiches usually.
