    Mushroom Swiss burger and fries.
    Lisa A.

I've been waiting for Mooyah to open for so long! I finally went last weekend and was not disappointed! I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and made it into a combo. The fries were delicious, the burger was unbelievable, and the prices are competitive. The indoor dining is not huge but there are tables and chairs. We sat at the outdoor tables and enjoyed the sunny day. If you're in the mood for a delicious burger then I highly suggest you try this place!

The new MOOYAH location is finally opening and it's worth a go! That little boardwalk area has been remodeled very nicely.

Not the prettiest food court, but they have a decent selection of food choices. Was my first time…read morehere so didn't get a chance to try everything. Plenty of seating and apparently they have karaoke nights on the weekend. Plenty of parking since it's located in a shopping center. Tried one of the food places near the back. I think the name is as Luk Phat Ky. We got their fried catfish, fried squid, and crispy pork belly. Order at the counter and they give you a number to place at your table. Food is then brought to the table. Everything was fresh and hot. My favorite dish was the fried catfish that came with rice paper, lettuce, and cilantro / you turn it into a wrap. Fish was nice and crispy and good flavor. I'd stop by again if I'm in the area, but wouldn't necessarily made a trip just to come here.

Quoc Thai advertised this place on the radio daily and it was interesting being there. He is good at advertising but the information doesn't match with the actual store deals. Typical. It was OVERWHELMING with so many signs and pictures and stuff every where. It felt disorganized and not clean. Some older folks in there had a strong scent of Eagle oil (dau do xanh) even in passing! There were boba shops, Pho, shaved ice, sea foods, baked Catfish, Thai Food, Chao Long and many more Vietnamese dishes etc. It's definitely perfect for eating in groups and eating late but some vendors were closed and each has their own hours. I tried Hello Cafe and Loopy Loop. I felt overstimulated with signs and pictures and so many options of "deals" but not really "deals". Buy 2 get 1 drinks come out to around $18 so $6 each drink? If two drinks cost $18 - I dont think I want to pay $9 for a drink. Yikes! 50/50 coming back. Parking is plenty in the front.

Stop reading this review and start driving here!!…read more The black bean noodles and jjampong are the BEST in all of the area!! The noodles are always fresh and piping hot, jjampong FULL of seafood smokiness!! So many of my favorite korean/chinese food spots from Buena Park and Fullerton have changed, but this place keeps it consistently GOOD! Since the day they first opened, I had always trusted the quality of their jjamppong and Man Soo jjajangmyeon, and I was a loyal customer who visited often. Unfortunately, it is very disappointing to see how much the quality has changed over time. At some point, I started noticing a significant inconsistency in the taste. Later, I found out that Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays were days when the main chef was not in the kitchen, which seemed to explain why the food quality varied so much. However, even on days when the chef is present, the jjamppong no longer has the rich, deep, and flavorful broth that I remember. During my most recent visit, the jjamppong tasted as if the original broth had been diluted with extra water to increase the quantity rather than maintaining the original flavor and quality. The noodles were also disappointing -- either undercooked or over-softened, as if too much noodles had been cooked at once in insufficient water, resulting in a poor texture. There was a time when I would say, "This is a place worth driving to just for their jjamppong." Sadly, I can no longer recommend it the way I used to. As a longtime customer, this decline in taste and consistency is genuinely disappointing. Unless the restaurant returns its focus to the basics -- quality ingredients, proper preparation, and consistent cooking -- it will be very difficult to regain the reputation it once had.

I went in around 2PM so it was not crowded. The friendly clerk at the counter recommended the Rose Tteokbokki, as their most popular dish. I customized it with spice level 1 (which has a nice kick), soft rice cake, add ramen noodles. I chose the combo for a few dollars more, which included tempura - 2 seaweed rolls, 2 dumplings, 2 shrimp, and a Coke. This rose sauce is sweet and hot in perfect balance Dish included sausages, an egg, veggies, as well as the excellent rice cake. Can't wait to come back and try more flavors. Enjoy!

When I received my food 45 minutes later, it was the complete wrong order. I received a rose tteokbokki with ssal tteok. I mentioned this to the kind lady behind the counter and she remade my food. However, when I got the freshly made dish, it was still the wrong order. She remade the dish with garaetteok but it was still rose, and not the grandma style. As it was approaching a whole hour since ordering, I just accepted the food, even though I tried to explain to her that what I received was the wrong order. She told me that what I got was the grandma tteokbokki, which the dish was not since it was creamy and had sausage and bacon. I would have asked for another remake, but she had posted a sign that said the restaurant closes at 1:30pm, and it was shortly after that time. I was hoping to have a good time here since the reviews are great, but this experience makes me apprehensive to give the place a try again.
