Very rice to meat you! Would highly call ahead for pick up especially during busy hours because parking is terrible here. Bulgogi Rice & Spicy Chicken Rice: Both bowls were delicious and flavorful. The portions were generous--definitely enough to leave you feeling full. Rice to meat ratio was perfect. Each came with some pickled cucumbers but I felt like it didn't cut the dish/sauce enough. Wow! I was blown away with the prices and the portions of this restaurant! I ordered the Wok Fried Tofu bowl and it was so delicious. There are cashews in this bowl which adds flavor to the dish. The cucumber prickles were so good even a non prickles fanatic liked them! However, the kimchi was not the best. You can order online and pick up if you don't want to wait at the restaurant. Delicious AND a good value! I've pretty much all the different proteins at this point, and I can honestly say you can't go wrong with any of them. The portion sizes are surprisingly generous for the $12 price point. If you want that extra protein like I do, adding an egg is an extra $2. You can also order an extra portion of meat, but I forgot how much that was. They have a side of kimchi available for purchase too. I believe it's like $4. It tastes pretty good too! The guy at the cash register is friendly and quick. Nice to see a familiar face each time I come there too! The place is pretty small, and so is the parking lot. So keep that in mind. However, they do have a could of designated BBQ + Rice spots, so that part is nice! The menu is pretty straightforward. The offer seven different rice bowls, along with side add on/side items. I got the Bulgogi Bowl with bulgogi beef, onion, cabbage, carrot, shiitake mushroom, green onion, red cabbage, pickles, and sesame seeds. The bulgogi was tasty, but I did feel like there could have been a little more sauce. I also tried some of the Black Pepper Chicken Bowl. The toppings in this bowl are a little different. It has chicken, onion, cabbage, bok choy, bell pepper, green onion, cucumber, pickles, and sesame seeds. The sauce on this one seemed a little thinner so it coated the rice well and also seemed a little more abundant. Overall, this bowl was more flavorful, and the pepper flavor really comes through. All of the portion sizes are pretty big! They are also reasonably priced! I got a side of kimchi, and there kimchi is pretty good! I also got a side of their pickles, but the flavor wasn't what I had expected. I through they would taste more like the Korean pickled cucumbers, but they tasted more like American pickles. My son told me about this place in a strip mall and wanted me to try it. So we went for lunch. It is very small and clean with only two tables and counter that seats 4-5. The proprietor was very friendly and polite. The food was fast inexpensive and very tasty. I had the spicy pork which was delicious! Parking: rather painful especially when it's busy. But it's a parking lot shared with other businesses. The spots are also relatively small. Uh, I've never ate Korean that had this much value, outside of ayce obviously. For the price you pay, you are getting a ridiculous amount of food, and I mean ridiculous. It's also cooked well and made fresh. I dug into that bowl and for the first time I felt like maybe I couldn't finish all of it. I did finish it obviously cause it was really good, but I never felt like I had enough. Usually Korean food a la carte makes you feel unsatisfied. Although the flavour wasn't the best I've ever eaten, it was still really delicious. Tofu was insane. I really liked the texture and flavour of the tofu. I'm not a fan of "soft" undercooked tofu, but I also don't like burnt tofu and this place had it smack dab in the middle. Perfection. If I had to complain about one thing about the restaurant itself, it would be that the space is too small! But that's not their fault. I really wish I had one closer to me sigh. I came here with my polo team and the guy at the front desk was so sweet! He offered us all a drink for free and was very friendly overall. The food came out fast and was so delicious! Nonetheless, order was ready right on time, opted for the wok tofu and house made kimchi. Package neatly. For under $15 after everything, what a steal! And tasty too! Easily shareable, little hint of heat but not to burn your tongue off, the kimchi was a little vinegary but still had a great crunch and spice to it that was not overwhelming. And the amount received was unexpected! The tofu bowl big fan as it had eggplant bok choy onion cashews tofu sweet pickled cucumbers and green onion over lot of soft fluffy rice. Many ingredients I love together so a vegetarian delight I think so but will try the meat. =) Ate both together and the crunch of acidity of the kimchi balance the heat and flavors of the tofu and veggies. I had just finished my delivery route and stopped here to grab something quick to eat and let me tell you... this place is AMAZING! If I was blindfolded , I would think this food was homemade. There's a lot of heart put into their food. Good portions, reasonable prices ... waited maybe 10-13 minutes at most for my meal to be prepped. What a hidden gem! The employees were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We ordered the black pepper chicken and spicy pork, and both were fantastic. The meats had a perfect char that added great flavor, and the spice level of the spicy pork was just right. The only redeeming factor is that the egg was cooked well - soft/runny yolk and the bowl is quite big and filling since it has a lot of rice. I think for people who frequent korean food places, this place is quite inauthentic and disappointing, but it might be suitable for those that are looking for an easy introduction into korean food. Great NEW local business in Cypress that just opened up their doors. If you're craving wonderful comfort Korean food that's available fast and on the go, this is the spot! I LOVED their KFC Sweet and Spicy Chicken, it was so delicious and packed with flavor though beware, a bit more on the sweet side of the aisle. Their Bulgogi (beef) Bowl also looked awesome and I'm sure tastes as great! They have a decent selection of bowls and other items and the prices are very reasonable. The lady who took our order seemed really sweet and friendly and you can tell this is a family owned establishment that takes pride in the food they're serving. Stopped in by chance, but I'm sure glad we did! :) This is probably one of the better bowl places I've been to, it's a bit more in cost, but you see the difference in both quality and quantity. The service was great, the person running folk and staffing the front was quick and friendly, and the person in the back was working the orders efficiently. There's not too much to be had seating wise, but there are a few table and chair setups, and the place is clean and simple in its appearance and design. The food here is top class and I've been too many establishments. They use nothing but the top quality ingredients and I would say par to par one of the best. The overall store has a Ma and Pa feel to it offering many different kinds of drinks. Ranging from snapple's, waters, La Croux, milkis, and two flavors of sac sac a Korean juice very tasty.
