Personally, I eat a lot of lean meat, so pairing the Wagyu with the chicken breast was perfect for me. Came by on a Friday around noon time, plenty of parking. Ordered the combination plate of wagyu ribeye spicy pork w/ mac salad and cabbage. Ordered came out fast, asked for pickle onions and jalapeños, teriyaki sauce and hot sauce. Initially I was just going to take it togo, but after opening it up to take a yelp photo, it look and smelled so good I had to eat it there. The wagyu ribeye was so good!! great flavor and so tender. I don't think I had beef this so good and tender from a plate before. The spicy pork along with The mac salad was also bomb, I smash all of the mac salad and half the plate so fast. They have plenty of public parking and if that gets packed you can park for free at the source right across and walk over. As soon as we entered we were greeted with a warm welcome and a helpful staff, as it was our first time. Our Meal came out quick, and we ordered the Wagyu Beef Plate with Kale salad, which was 16.99. I really wanted to like this place, but this was one of the most disappointing meals I've had in a while. Let's start with the "Wagyu." The owner claims it's "100% Wagyu," Is that true? Real Wagyu (Japanese or even American purebred) comes with traceability. No certificate? No transparency? That tells me everything I need to know. Here's the thing: Real, high-quality Wagyu is not suitable for teriyaki. The fat marbling is so rich that it literally melts off the grill into a greasy puddle. You'd lose half the steak to the flames. Legitimate Wagyu is served simply, with minimal seasoning, so you can actually taste the fat. Drenching it in a heavy, sweet teriyaki sauce defeats the entire purpose of using that meat. If they were truly serving the real deal, they'd be committing culinary malpractice. As for the meat I actually got, it was chewy and tough, not what you'd expect from any grade of Wagyu. If it is Wagyu, it's almost certainly crossbred trimmings or shoulder cuts that require heavy marination to mask the texture. That sauce? Overpoweringly sweet and salty. Real teriyaki is simple: soy, mirin, sake, sugar. Fruits and hours of brewing is a fluff advertising designed to sound impressive without any culinary basis. The owner is obviously mistaking bulgogi marinade for teriyaki but even bulgogi doesn't take hours to make. Call it what it is: a sweet brown glaze. Speaking of fresh--the vegetables were dry and tough. For a place that charges a premium and talks down about "artificial" sauces elsewhere, the execution didn't back up the rhetoric. Now for the real nickel-and-diming: This place has no restrooms for customers--in a sit-down restaurant. That alone tells you how much they value guest comfort. And if you order a burger? Don't expect lettuce or tomato. Instead of spending a few cents on standard toppings, they throw on the same cheap cabbage slaw they use for their combo plates. That's not creativity--that's cutting corners so hard it's embarrassing. A burger without tomato and lettuce in 2026? At these prices? Greedy, plain and simple. No wonder almost every time I've driven by, the parking lot is empty and there's barely a soul inside. Bottom line: This is standard American-Korean fusion fast-casual food dressed up in fancy vocabulary. Don't believe the storytelling. Your palate knows better. I really dig this place. I'm pretty fat and trying to be less fat, and the quality of their meat is very good. Is it cheap? I'd argue no. But for $20, I can get a two-meat plate with high quality white meat chicken + beef + fried egg, and feel satiated until late afternoon (might be the peptides talking tho, who knows ;) ). I always call it in, and it's always ready on time. I always get the plate combo (beef + chicken breast), with kale and cabbage salad. Rice is included. I think their mac salad is good, but not worth the upcharge. I do suggest getting extra sauce on the side, as usually the one cup they give isn't enough based on the portion. We had an idea of what we were going to order based on the pictures posted. I went with the ghalbi beef, and my guy ordered the wagyu. Both are very tasty. I got the grilled chicken with kale and macaroni salad which turned out to be pretty good. Service was quick and noticed all the wagyu meats in the freezers. However this time the beef and chicken were both way too salty for me so the salad was the only thing giving me life on the combo. The grilled salmon on the other hand was a complete left field winner.
