Original issue from January - while Fernando has responded and promised a resolution - here we are 4+ months later without reimbursement. Fernando continues to promise Duffy will reimburse me but NOTHING received after multiple requests. Will NEVER use this company again and will do my best to post this review everywhere until issue resolved. Yelp Review from 1/12/18 Our flight was delayed coming home from New Years Eve. We were so excited to come out to a warm stretch limo and welcomed in 2018 while driving home from the airport. Then we noticed the limo was slowly swerving between lanes on the highway. Our driver was dozing off behind the wheel! Okay - I get it, our flight was late and it was after midnight but seriously? I yelled from the back of the limo to make him more alert. He apologized and started to move his arms around, shake his head and try to wake up. The kids and I buckled in and I started texting dispatch to let them know what was happening. As we got close to one of our possible exits, I loudly mentioned to our driver that he could take that exit as a shortcut. He blew right past it and continued. Thankfully, the GPS took him to the next exit. At the top of the exit ramp, the light was red and our driver literally fell ASLEEP. When the light turned green, horns started honking and I yelled to wake him up. My kids and I were terrified. From that point on, I talked to him through every turn. My daughter took over texting dispatch about the situation. We were exhausted from an extended day of travel and just wanted to get home safely. Once we safely made it home, I asked the driver if he was okay to drive home and he was at first argumentative. He stated that he had not missed a night in 20 years and could drive just fine. I decided it was better to fight the charge later and told him we were concerned for his safety and others on the road. I hoped by texting dispatch during our drive that they would tell him to waive the charge but they processed it. Our driver did text me at 1:14 a.m. when he arrived home to let me know he had made it safely. He apologized for making the kids and I uncomfortable. read more

The communication was great. Marie texted me the night before, which was the 4th of July to confirm my ride. She arrived at my house 15 minutes early. She was professional and her SUV was clean. Needed a car service that would be more reliable than a taxi, yet not quite as expensive as a limo. Suburban Rides fit the bill. Prompt replies and communications via text or e-mail. They use square to accept card payments so no paper invoices to litter landfills. The vehicles are clean and comfortable and the rides are smooth. Used Suburban Rides in lieu of renting a car to get from Midway to downtown to Pallatine to Midway over three days. I didn't want the hassle of renting a car and driving in unknown territory and weather and the cost of the rental, hotel parking ($60/night!), tolls, gas, etc. Grady was awesome. Best driver I've ever had. Price was less than the cost to rent, park, etc. Scheduled all of the trips in advance. This is an updated review. The first time I used suburban rides I was very happy with their service. So, I booked another ride for my family to go to Midway airport. Unfortunately, it was an early flight and we had to get picked up by 3am. The driver never showed. When I called him he had just left and wouldn't be to my house until 3:40am. We ended up just driving ourselves and parking at the airport. I informed the manager of what happened and he tried to make it right which is why I am giving 2 stars. read more

Used this service from Glen Ellyn to O'Hare. Selected because of the good reviews and was not disappointed at all. Reservation person was very polite and professional, very easy to book. When I needed to chance pickup time it was no problem at all. A few hours before pickup I received a text letting me know who the driver would be and when he'd be there. This was very nice as I always worry about lateness or no shows. Anthony arrived right on time! He was extremely pleasant, not someone you'd be Leary of getting into a car with. I thoroughly enjoyed the ride to the airport and arrived safely in one piece and on time. Would definitely used this service again and highly recommend. I submitted a ride request on their website for a same day ride from O'Hare and within an hour I got both an email confirmation and a personalized text from the driver verifying my request and letting me know what kind of car she'd be picking us up in. Such a smooth and easy process. I was worried about finding a ride on such short notice, with a toddler and our car seat, but my mind was immediately put at ease. We text Marie (our driver) when we got our bags and within a few minutes we were loaded in the car and on our way. I'm a huge fan and should I need service again, I won't hesitate to use them. Being the procrastinator that I am, I called these guys at about 11pm for a 7:30 pickup to go to the airport. We were driving our car to another location and taking a car from there to the airport. We of course hit traffic and were about 15 minutes later than we said. The driver was really nice about it and didn't charge us for making him wait. He had the car warm in the freezing weather and was pleasant the whole ride. He also assisted in putting luggage in and unloading once we got to the airport. They set me up with a return trip when I called to make the original reservation. It was nice to not have to worry about it when I got off the plane. The driver texted me when my scheduled arrival time was and I tested him once we got our luggage. I have tried a couple of other limo services in the area and where suburban rides differentiates itself is communication (txt the night before to confirm and upon landing for pick up). I also like you can just email to make a return pickup appointment. We had two different drivers since our return back home wasn't known.
