Worst customer service on phone from girl named Aimiee. The driver accepted cash as a gratuity, but they also charged us 20% gratuity on our credit card. The driver never mentioned anything. When I called she informed me that she did not have the authority to credit me, but that I would receive an e-mail/phone call from one of the managers the next day. The phone call began ok, but she became rude and condescending when I questioned the practice of including a gratuity, I'd like to use my discretion and tip more or less depending on service. Phone call became heated at the end. I did not receive any communication from company the next day, so I attempted to call to settle, they blocked my cell phone number. This morning I tried Think Green Limousine for the first time, and I am really impressed. Charles was my driver. He arrived precisely on the dot (actually a tad early), texted me, and then, when I was on the wrong side of the hotel (completely my fault) he was so nice about it, said, "don't worry, I'm coming around to where you are." He was right there in a sec; the car was lovely, clean, smelled perfect (most cabs are so unpleasant smelling) and there was water and little mints too. Beautifully quiet and comfortable, and I felt better with a smaller carbon footprint. Charles was excellent---safe, smooth driving, got me there easily on time; and he was also intelligent, tactful, and a great and appropriate conversationalist. I admit that this is based on one experience, but it was enough to make us look for another transportation service to use when we need it. My husband and I used Think Green Limousine to get to and from the airport for our honeymoon. Things ran smoothly, and the prices weren't bad. Because of that experience, we decided to use them again when we headed out to Colorado a few months later for a wedding; however, after booking, my husband did some research and found that it would be cheaper for us to just park at the airport for the short duration. As with most people these days, we do what we can to save money here and there, so that seemed like the better option. My husband called Think Green Limousine and told them that we needed to cancel. I was sitting next to him when he told the dispatcher that we were sorry, but that we that we had to cancel our transportation for the trip - he told them both the day or our departure AND the day of our arrival back home. He even went so far to say that we would hope to use them again in the future; that alone should have indicated that we were not planning to use them for any part of our trip. That night I received an email from Think Green Limousine with the subject line mentioning our cancellation, so without opening it, I figured we were all set.; however, after we arrived back at home at the end of our trip, I received a text message telling me that the driver was at the airport waiting for us. i was sure that when I called and explained that we actually had cancelled, things would be fine. When I called, I was told that if we had the email receipt to prove that we actually had cancelled, then they would not charge us a no-show fee. Unfortunately, when I opened the cancellation email they sent, I saw that it was only for the transfer TO the airport, not FROM. Silly me, thinking that because we CALLED them on the phone and TOLD them to cancel both, that they would actually do it without me having to double-check. I still had a hard time believing that they would charge us a penalty, given that we were both partly at fault. Try as I might to explain, they didn't want to hear it. We were charged a $70.00 fee for a "no show" - more than we paid for our entire weekend parked at the airport. I could understand if we had done this more than once, but it was an honest mistake; we were not trying to cause any problems. That didn't seem to matter to them, and nothing we could say would change that. $70 down the drain. From now on when we travel, I will look for a transportation company that treats their customers right. read more

This limo company SUCKS and they took advantage of us teenagers without adults. Someone "broke" a cup holder. Mistake. No big deal. They made us pay $100 in cash on the spot to pay for This to be fixed OR they would refuse to drive us back. I could have gone and bought a $10 screwdriver to fix it but no, they made us pay an extra $100. Absolute bullshit. I will NEVER trust this company again, they completely took advantage of me. Stay away from this limo company. There are better and cheaper companies, that actually show respect for the paying customers. read more

We hired this limousine service for our sons 14th birthday party! There is absolutely not one complaint I could possibly make here. Our Limo driver was Charles and he showed up on time, there were balloons and a stocked soda bar in the back, clean and music was pumping!! He pulled out the red carpet, greeted our son and wished him a Happy Birthday, took all the kids dance bags and packed them in the trunk (pick up was at our dance company) he was extremely polite and pure class all the way. He put up with 12 kids singing and being crazy. He waited the 2 hours it took to eat at the restaurant and at one point waited out in the cold weather (15-20min) to open the door (While we were sitting in our warm car) he was just the best limo driver we could ever ask for!! My family and I have used Think Green limo multiple times every year and we keep coming back. They are always on time, always reliable, friendly, and safe drivers. The cars are always clean and stocked with water and soda if you'd like that. We like their no smoking in the cars policy. That isn't the case with every limo company and my husband is allergic to smoke, so that has been an issue with other companies. The booking process couldn't be easier. The pick up both at home and at the airport always goes smoothly. A few weeks ago, when there were subzero temps at O'hare, the driver specifically told my husband that we should not come out of the airport and wait on the curb until he called. He didn't want us to freeze. I thought that was very courteous. I support local companies whenever possible and I'm happy to continue to support Think Green. read more

I'm a long-time customer of TGL and love them. They're the only limo company I use and have yelped about them before. I'm unsure why yelp filtered my review, but regardless, they're an excellent company. Fast, reliable, eco-friendly, and extremely courteous. Not to mention, they have a unique line of cars (Lincoln MKS sedan and Escalade ESV). Great company. Highly recommended. read more

We used think green limo for a ride to and from the airport. Our trip out was a 3am pickup . Not only was the car very nice, clean, stocked with water but the driver also had a children's DVD playing knowing that we had 2 small children traveling with us. Want a nice and thoughtful touch! The trip back the same! The service is totally professional. Great drivers, on time, email reminders, and a phone call to see if we were ready. I can't say enough about how pleased we were.
