So I decided to stop by and get one at Tuccis! let me just start off by saying that they load the subs up!! The portions are huge for about ~$13 a sub so that's a plus. Ordering and checking out was quick and service is no frills but it's nice to see they remember locals orders. I ended up dining in which was partially why my rating is a bit lower. I would recc taking out since there wasn't anyone bussing the tables so it was a bit untidy. I was really excited about the sandwich but the cuts of meat were a bit tough (prosciutto) and I probably should've gotten white bread since the wheat kinda fell apart. I'll have to comeback and try a diff combo.

4.3. I've been wanting to try Tucci's for a long time and I'm happy I finally did. The strip where…read morethe joint is located is very gritty and beaten up - I guess that adds to the philly charm. and I can appreciate a no frills restaurant with mineral fiber ceiling tiles that have also seen some sht... However, i do appreciate a place that seems like it's super clean,. Anyway - I had a chicken cheesesteak and it was fantastic! I will def get that sandwich again and want to try others. Might be a little big pricey but I guess if you compare it to Jersey Mikes or Cheba Hut or other sandwich joints, it's not egregious. The dude working the counter was really nice too.

The Knuckle Sandwich is easily my favorite…read moresandwich in the city -- packed with flavor, satisfying every time, and most importantly, consistently good no matter when I go. That consistency is what really keeps me coming back. You know exactly what you're getting, and it always delivers. Austin has no shortage of food trucks, but this one definitely stands out if you're craving a solid sandwich that actually lives up to the hype.

We seriously love Diana for her recommendation got the knuckle and the veggies. Knuckles was perfect lettuce and perfect meat ratio. Not too much lettuce and very generous with meat. The cheese crisps was so so so so good and just made the perfect crunch. The veggie though was so so amazing I have never had such an amazing artichoke sandwhich it was so good. If your taking it to GO and eating later let them know and they will pack the soggy stuff separately. Once again we are in love with this sandwhich and its definetly a must ever time in Austin. Thank you Diana and team for the best sandwhich ever !

Knuckle Sandwich - The fresh herbs were a bit excessive on the lamb sammie. Would have liked the lamb to be the dominant flavor, not the mint.

Hot take: national chain restaurants in Austin don't hit the same as they do in suburbs of Houston…read more When I stepped into this Jason's Deli location, the magic just wasn't there. The food is solid, but basic... Jason's Deli offers a variety of sandwiches, salads and soups. My usual order is the Manager's Special, which comes with a half sandwich, chips and a side. For those needing something heartier, I recommend getting the full size. I always order the Chicken Panini (grilled chicken, provolone, pesto aioli, spinach, and tomato on sourdough) with the Spicy Seafood Gumbo. Strangely, the gumbo is solid!

They're huge! My wife and I should have just ordered one and split it. They are very generous with the toppings that came with Cheddar, bacon, butter, sour cream, green onions on them. The only complaints we had were, that both of our baked potatoes skins were overcooked and very tough, and the skin on the baked potatoes weren't seasoned. The inside of the baked potatoes were very good. The combo included one trip to the salad bar and unlimited soft drinks and tea. Everything on the salad bar was fresh and delicious. All of the vegetables that you could make your salad were very fresh, crispy and delicious. The potato salad was really good too. The chocolate mousse was to die for. It was so creamy and rich. To top all of this off, they have free unlimited ice cream cones....vanilla, chocolate and chocolate/vanilla mix. Nice way to finish off a good meal. The service was lacking. When we were ordering, the person made us feel like we were being rushed to place our orders. It felt like we were being an inconvenience to them...we would have left, but we'd never been to a Jason's Deli before and we wanted to give them a try...so we stayed. The restaurant was clean. It had lots of seating area. We came, we saw, we tried and we doubt we'll be back!

I wouldn't eat here again…read more I had high expectations with the good Yelp reviews. We ordered the ribs and the chicken quarter (which was more like a Cornish hen quarter because it was so small) The burnt end black eyed peas were we very spicy, which I like, but it was not noted and they were salty. We threw them away. I was not impressed and $7 for the chicken (see pic) is a crime when it's that tiny.

I ordered the pork ribs with black eyed peas and burnt ends, and everything was packed with flavor. The ribs were tender and well seasoned, about three in my order, and came with a tangy sauce , grilled toast plus pickled tomatoes and onions that were downright addictive. The Black Eyed Peas were bold and spicy, with chunks of smoky burnt ends mixed in. Definitely not shy on seasoning. They serve everything on compostable plates which I really appreciate. The staff was friendly and knew their stuff. They mentioned the menu rotates often, so what's on today might not be there next time. Small batch, small menu, but worth it. The truck was set up at the brewery, so there's plenty of seating--inside, shaded, or in the sun--and drinks come from the brewery itself. Only reason I took off a star was the limited options, but overall, the food was fantastic. I'd absolutely come back to try more from their menu.
