Really good sandwiches. Defiantly worth a stop. Divey old school feel but with delicious food. Lots of choices. Meatball and Ruben were delish and recommended.

    Pastrami burger

This is a go to place in the area! Great hot and cold sandwiches and plates are great too. Today tried the pastrami burger oh my my so good with the Russian sauce. Friendly and quick kitchen. Hidden gem on Burelson , one out go 2 spots in area. And they serve breakfast I didn't know this until today !

    Rueben sandwich

Stopped by this sub shop after dropping my car off for repairs while waiting for my Lyft. I thought I would be safe and ordered one of my favs - a Rueben. The rideshare showed up before I could get my sandwich. I asked them to slow my order as I was only going to pick up my rental and would be back. I always think...how can anyone mess up a Rueben. Well this place did! The marbled rye bread was excellent. The shop chopped up the corned beef. Why would anyone do that? The meat was dry and some pieces were bacon like texture. The wasn't much sauerkraut either. The dressing was sparse but I always ask for more on the side. This was the only thing allowing me to finish the sandwich. The service at the counter was great. The cooks did their jobs. Please for the love of God...teach them how to make a proper Rueben! I almost opted for the pastrami but they may slaughter (chop) that as well.

Excellent choice. My coworkers were brought here based on recommendations from locals and man this was a winner. It doesn't look like much - misspelled menu items, broken signage, and all - but the line going out the door was a sign we were in the right place. My only complaint is that half our orders were wrong - I ordered the regular size southwest chicken on wheat and my coworker had a foot long southwest steak on white, but I got steak on white and he got a foot long steak on wheat. Another coworker didn't get her sandwich at all. That said, I ate what I was served (no time to fight the line and get where we needed on time) and was VERY happy with it. Excellent flavor, the bread was a knockout, just a fantastic sandwich. Maybe even better than what I thought wanted.

If you're hunting for a breakfast sandwich that delivers both flavor and value, look no further. Roberto served up a sausage and cheese sandwich that took me by surprise--not just for how good it was, but for the price, which felt like a throwback to the '90s. In a world of overpriced bites, this place keeps things honest and delicious. I've been back for other meals too, and they've never let me down. But the breakfast sausage with cheese? That one's my go-to.

Bella Donna has been around a long time. They definitely have a system down. They are only open during business hours M-F. The menu here is quite extensive and so far everything I've tried has been spot on! I recently ordered the Italian cheese steak sandwich and it was delicious! The peppers and onions were grilled perfectly and the cheese had some good stretch. I also loved the overstuffed pastrami sandwich too. If you happen to be in this area during the week looking for lunch I'd recommend going here. Pro tip: order online ahead of time for no wait

After saying "we need to go there" at least 30 times, we finally went there and boyyy howdy it did not disappoint! The Cuban and club were 10/10 perfect! The bread was so fresh, crispy where it needed to be, and buttery in all the right places. It was a perfectly balanced sandwich ratio, not too thick, not too thin, and came with chips or potato salad. The in-house beer is great, and there's something for anyone's tastes, plus non alcoholic options. We sat outside with our pups on the dog friendly patio, which is fully covered and shaded, with tons of great seating options. I recommend going into the shop and seeing every thing they have to offer that isn't listed on the menu, plus the GREAT beer tap and can selections they have in store!

The parking is shared and gets packed in the evening or you have to pay to park if you are unable to find anything in the lot or on the street. Handsome Dans has a sign directing you to the back where they are located. The vibe is true to a bait shop/diner it's casual with a rustic feel, they have a large covered patio adjacent to Stargazer bar. I highly suggest sitting outside if possible because the inside does get a bit claustrophobic and smokey when it's packed and they are smashing paninis on the press with no proper kitchen overhead vents. The type of greasy smoke you get when you are making super buttery sandwiches on a hot press. The sandwiches are ok but not something I would go out of my way to have ,our kids liked the hotdogs and Frito pies which were also kind of "upper class" gas station quality. Most of the stuff here is food that probably tastes way better after drinking several beers. It's like any normal sandwich you could make at home and toss in a panini press to be honest. Really good beers on tap and friendly staff who seemed to disappear to the back quite a bit and came back confused. They didn't know if they had already given me my food because I was ordering and paying for extra food after more people in our party arrived. They literally saw my food I already had on the table from my previous order and thought they gave me double of what I ordered hahaha. I can't make a judgment because I have no clue what they kept dispersing to the back for but can just say the confusion was real, LOL. All together if I had to come back it be because someone I knew wanted to try it. Otherwise for me it's a one and done. I got the pictures I stood next to a sign ,I had the Signiture sandwiches, now I'm moving on. I can say I've been there done that. I'm guessing that a college crowd or just being a single person who just wants to be amongst people that this is the type of lowkey place to go if you're not into the typical Longhorn hangouts. You stop in ,have some beers, eat a low budget ingredient expensive panini sandwich and chill till you have to call yourself a Waymo cause the beer is good and strong.

I ordered the pork ribs with black eyed peas and burnt ends, and everything was packed with flavor. The ribs were tender and well seasoned, about three in my order, and came with a tangy sauce , grilled toast plus pickled tomatoes and onions that were downright addictive. The Black Eyed Peas were bold and spicy, with chunks of smoky burnt ends mixed in. Definitely not shy on seasoning. They serve everything on compostable plates which I really appreciate. The staff was friendly and knew their stuff. They mentioned the menu rotates often, so what's on today might not be there next time. Small batch, small menu, but worth it. The truck was set up at the brewery, so there's plenty of seating--inside, shaded, or in the sun--and drinks come from the brewery itself. Only reason I took off a star was the limited options, but overall, the food was fantastic. I'd absolutely come back to try more from their menu.
