Man working there is rude as hell! Older gentleman gives u attitude for everything u ask for, even after being so kind to him. Bread was stale, & churro was undercooked w NO cinnamon on it. Then he wanted to argue with me about how subway has never had saltine crackers??? I've been coming for years & all of a sudden it doesn't exist? Yea no workers are tweaked out! Telling me that the soup is gross & I shouldn't eat it, what a great part of the team he is!

Meat was juicy, sauce is plentiful, and it all conglomerates into a messy sandwich of deliciousness. Sausages are the other star here. The Spicy Hungarian sausage with mustard was absolutely a banger as well. It's a nice light kick and savory flavor with each bite. We finished off with a Cherry strudel which was not too sweet but still had the nice sugary finish of a dessert. I feel like I'm rambling but long story short, great food, great beer, great time. Have a slice of European cuisine out in Calimesa.

Food: We ordered the half Reuben sandwich with a side of warm German potato salad, a spicy…read moreHungarian sausage, and finished with a cherry strudel for dessert alongside a German beer on tap. The Reuben and potato salad combo was especially hearty and satisfying, with rich, savory flavors that felt very true to a classic deli experience. The Hungarian sausage had a great depth of flavor, savory and well-seasoned without tipping into being overly salty. The cherry strudel was a standout to end the meal, filled generously with cherries and syrup, wrapped in a flaky pastry that balanced sweetness and texture really well. The beer tied everything together nicely, cold and refreshing, and exactly what you'd want with this kind of meal. I still prefer Busy Bees in San Pedro, but this was a nice alternative within the IE area. Price: George's Market falls into a casual, reasonable deli pricing tier. Sandwiches like the Reuben and similar deli items are generally in the mid‑teens range, while sausage plates and hot meals can push closer to around $15-20 depending on what you get. Beer and imported items vary, but overall you can expect to spend about $15-25 per person for a solid, filling meal. Given the quality, portion sizes, and specialty nature of the food, the pricing feels fair. Ambiance: The space is part cozy German market, part deli counter, with a warm, wood-heavy interior that feels inviting and a bit nostalgic. There's both indoor seating and an outdoor area, giving flexibility depending on the weather or how busy it is. Beyond the dining area, the market itself sells a wide range of German groceries and specialty products, which adds to the charm and makes it feel like more of an experience than just a quick meal. Service: Service was good and impressively efficient given how busy it gets. There was a noticeable line when we went (especially on a weekend lunch time), but things moved steadily and the staff kept everything organized without feeling rushed or chaotic. Friendly and straightforward overall. Parking: Parking is one of the easier parts of the visit. It's located in a plaza with a large shared lot, so there's plenty of space and no real hassle finding a spot, even during peak hours.

This is located in a small shopping center tucked around a corner. You can dine in or take your meal to go. We dined in, and this nice, casual spot has elements of Italy all over. For appetizers, we ordered the Fried Pickles and Sautéed Whole Mushrooms. My mother ordered the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, and I ordered their Fettuccini Alfredo with Chicken, minus the broccoli. Our server was friendly, attentive, and provided great service. The appetizers arrived, and we shared both. The fried pickle spears were delicious! Covered in a nice batter that didn't disintegrate upon eating. The sautéed mushrooms were seasoned to perfection, and I enjoyed every bite. The Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was larger than expected. My mother enjoyed every bite, and she had plenty left over to eat later. My dish arrived, and I knew that I was going to need a to-go box as well. The helping was generous, and the dish was a delight to eat. The soft strips of chicken were tender, the pasta was just right, and the seasonings were on point. The table next to us inquired as to what I had ordered. One of them ordered the same dish that I had- it looked that good! She agreed that it was delicious! The Fettuccini Alfredo with Chicken was a winning dish for sure. We had plenty left over to enjoy later. Everything tasted just as good warmed up later that evening. The only reason it caught my eye was because our tax preparer was just down the street. It was obviously well loved by the locals after reading their great reviews and seeing a full parking lot. And this was on a Wednesday. We only had time for a quick bite, ordering nothing out of the ordinary. A quickie breakfast of sausage, scrambled eggs, and pancake, were all we had, but everything was nicely done. The pancake was big, light and airy, served with a carafe of warm syrup and a huge scoop of butter. The scrambled eggs were moist and fluffy, the sausage was basically a Farmer John sausage patty that was properly warmed but not overcooked, and very good tasting. My only criticism was the coffee being too thin for my liking, but keeping our coffee mugs filled was something they definitely did well! The service was wonderful. They knew we were in a rush, and handled us with TLC the entire 35 minutes we had. What I do know is, I will be looking forward to our next tax appointment, hah, knowing our morning will start off right here. I ordered the turkey club with fries, and it absolutely hit the mark. The sandwich had perfectly crispy bread with moist, flavorful turkey--every bite was spot on. The fries were just as impressive: crispy, well-seasoned, and seriously addictive. The real standout combo though? Dipping those fries in their house made ranch, so good. Definitely a meal I'll be thinking about and coming back for!
