Just picked up my son from school and stopped into Subway for a nice afternoon meal. Store was clean quiet and completely empty. Employees were in the back doing whatever. Within 2 minutes one employee walked out and said Oh, sorry Sir we have online orders to work on. Waited for 15 minutes, 3 more walk in customers came in not Online. Finally walked out after 15 being first in line. Mind you not one online order had come in yet. Serve paying customers first before these online bullshit orders. When we walked into the store, there was nobody there working. We waited about five minutes before another customer walked in, which rang the doorbell for the second time. We called out for anybody working and knocked on the glass, hoping they would hear. We began to think that something might've happened, so, we opened the door to check in the back. By now it has been 10 minutes since we walked in. The employee walked out and said that he was the only one there and he was in the back taking a break. They had limited bread and meat options. My sandwich ended up having cold bacon and no cheese and very little vegetables. Which was probably a good thing since the vegetables looked like they needed to be tossed out. I don't really understand why this Subway continues to operate. Today (Saturday) they are out of tomato's???? How can a sandwich shop operated without tomato's?? Can't someone drive 5 blocks to the store and pick some up. They are always out of something, usually some type of bread. I live in a large adjacent community and when this subway is mentioned, everyone has their version of a bad story to tell. If the current owners don't care about the success of this store, sell it to someone who will give it the attention and the much needed injection of customer service it needs. Awful. Employees are a joke. The website Says they close at 10pm. I show up at 9:10pm. The door is locked. I see people through the front door glass in the back talking but they can't be bothered to unlocked the door. I call the store, get cursed out by the long haired gentleman that I see answering the phone through the glass. I just hung up cause I'm not going to deal with someone that doesn't have any common courtesy for another human being. I dont talk to other human beings like that, so why would I take that. Forget ever going back to that store, let alone any other subway for that matter. I'm tired of dealing with custom service that has gotten so bad, their is no human decency. This place is horrible. They had some young girl who didn't know what she was doing working in the store by herself. I walked in and there was no one else in the store. She said she was gonna have to make me wait because she had online orders to complete. I waited for a good 15 minutes for her to finish making these orders. When she finally came to help me. Every sandwich I asked for, she didn't have what she needed to make it. She didn't have tuna. She didn't have the Italian meats. All of the veggies were frozen , the cheese looked as though it had been exposed to too much air ( not fresh ) and so did the meat , the meat also had lots of mixed other meAts as if the employees dropped peces and never cleaned it up ! Had a horrible mobile order at the other oak valley subway and cancelled that order(no bread choice/ horrible customer service). I made another order for pickup at this location and in the 5 min it took to drive my sandwiches were about done. My husband went to Subway at 890 Oak Valley Parkway in Beaumont, CA yesterday to get a sandwich around 1:30 pm. He was the 3rd person in line. After the 2nd person got his order, she stated that she had to go to lunch and didn't take his order. He couldn't believe it. He had to go elsewhere to get something. I wrote to the Subway Corporate Office this morning where I was thanked for my comments. I told them this kind of service was unacceptable and that my husband should receive, at the very least, a complimentary sandwich. Don't think we will return to this Subway anytime soon. The worker robin was very helpful but was clearly overwhelmed and it wasn't her fault. Whoever upper management is left her on election night to run the store by herself. She had eight orders that needed to be filled and a line was starting to form to the door. Terrible service, I've been coming here for 5 years and I've never had a problem but now there is a new manager and her service and the way she's training the new workers to serve is terrible. I asked for a chicken bacon ranch and she didn't even give me the full two scoops. When I asked for a little bit more she said I would have to get the double she totally scammed me. I ordered a protein bowl and she put the least amount of meat possible I had to get a double again just for it to be the normal amount that usually comes in the bowl. I ordered 5 sandwiches online. I came 30 minutes later to pick to pick them up. My order wasn't done, it wasn't even started. When they did start it, I was informed that they did not have roast beef so I changed it to turkey. Since the turkey was about $3 cheaper, I told the clerk I could get a refund or a gift card for the difference. He then told me he canceled the entire order and I would have to pay for it again. I paid online because I was going to a concert. Since I was going to the concert, I didn't bring cash or credit cards. I had to return home so I could pay for the order AGAIN. Everytime I come here it takes so long for a single sandwich to be made. When there's a line I fear of entering because I know I'll be there for at least 15 minutes even if it's only four people there. One specific worker (no name needed) just takes years.
