However, I've come to realize that it all depends on who's preparing it. Bring back the person who made my first salad, because the last three have been so bad that I started to question whether I actually had a great taco salad at Boomer's in the first place. One salad was mostly romaine lettuce with very little of the other ingredients, even though I had requested extra of everything. They also forgot the tortilla strips and the salsa. Come on--it's not a taco salad without salsa! The other two salads I ordered barely had any chicken in them. If I didn't know better, I would have thought I had ordered a salad without chicken. Boomer's, do better and pay attention to the details. Consistency matters. This could have easily been a 4-star review if you had been consistent with the four taco salads I've ordered. The other photos in this review are from years ago when I thought burgers were the only thing worth ordering at Boomer's. Who knew they offered salads too?! The locations ambience was very clean, cool, and bright inside. The back room that used to be a safe was probably 10 degrees cooler than the rest of the restaurant and felt great!
