The burgers are massive, indeed; we were unable to finish the smallest version. On the good side, the staff were super friendly and helpful and the meat patty was large, of good quality and hand formed. The vegetables on the burger were fine, but the condiments were slathered on so excessively that the veggies slid off onto the plate. When a meat patty is this large, it is impossible to grill it in such a way that it can form the crust needed (the Maillard effect). The breathtaking misdeed, however, was to serve frozen onion rings that were, basically, inedible. I do wish them well, and I would encourage reviewers to consider aspects of a restaurant beyond the size of servings.

I told her I don't come to Mount Pleasant often and would not be able to come back tomorrow. She then offered to extend the remake for a week, and later even said she could ask her district manager to extend it for two weeks. None of this fixes the fact that I paid for two meals I did not receive. This is absolutely unacceptable. Refusing to refund customers when an order is incomplete is stealing. I paid for food and did not get it. Whataburger should do better.

Waited in line about 18 minutes just for them to tell me the shake machine was down. Why didn't they tell me this when I ordered and before I had to wait 18 minutes. This happened twice. Both after 12am. Third time around breakfast I ordered the shake through the app. Again at the window they saw my online ordered and told me to pull up. After 12 minutes of waiting they tell me the shake machine is down for cleaning again. Why couldn't they tell me this at the menu? To make my day better they told me they can't refund me at all that I have to call customer service to get a refund. The FOURTH time I try and order this shake I call the store ahead of time and let them know how many times this has happened and asked them if their shake machine is up. They say yes and I said I'm on my way I'll see ya in 7 minutes. I order the shake with the app. It's right after lunch and I get to the menu and they tell me they got my order and to pull up. This time I waited about 17 minutes. I get to the the window and they tell me "the shake machine is down." I LITERALLY JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH YALL AND YALL ASSURED ME THE MACHINE WAS RUNNING FINE AND MY SHAKE WOULD BE READY.
