Veggie Delite sandwich on honey oat bread. Super yummy and fresh!
    Tiffany S.

Never did I think I'd be writing a review for Subway, but here we are lol. I normally don't like Subway (sorry!!) but was starving and was convinced by my friend to get it. So we walk in, and I immediately felt better about our decision. This Subway was super clean, & the woman making the sandwiches was very kind & prompt with taking our orders. All of the vegetables looked so fresh, I honestly couldn't believe it! Lol I got the veggie sandwich and it was piled high with fresh veggies; our sandwich maker wasn't skimpy!! I highly recommend this location if you're looking for a yummy customized sandwich.

This is the very sloppily put together sandwich that tastes bad because she could not or would not stack the items.
    natasha k.

I just want to say this: when you're training someone to make sandwiches, you're essentially teaching someone to Build a sandwich. That being said, a skill for stacking and balancing items (in this case food) should be a skill had by these employees. The girl that put my chicken pesto sandwich just carelessly dumped the chicken into the center of the bread and then continued one item after the next, all falling off the sandwich. It was not only frustrating to watch, the sandwich doesn't taste good because I take a bite and I get soggy bread with tomato, no chicken or cheese. My point here is that almost any Subway I go to anywhere is consistently good with good service. I'm very unhappy with my visit today.

No cheese at all on a "melt?!?!"
    Shane M.

I don't submit many yelp reviews, but felt compelled to do so after my experience. So I placed a mobile order yesterday and arrived at 6:45 pm to collect my order. When I arrived the lights of the store were off and the "open" sign was off. Pure darkness. Another passerby was confused as well, as it was 6:45 pm and the sign said they were open until 7 pm. Regardless, my app order was accepted and payment was made. I wasn't sure what to do. Finally, I attempted to open the door and it was unlocked. I walked in and a young man said that his boss told him to close early. He said he received my mobile order and was taking all of the components of my order out of storage in order to make it. The employee was apologetic, so I didn't put up a fuss and waited in the Subway restaurant, with no lights on for my order. I got home thinking not much of the experience until I took my first bite of the ham and cheese "melt" that I ordered. I don't know about anyone else, but I've always understood a "melt" to be a sandwich that is grilled or at least heated with an abundance of cheese. My sandwich had literally no cheese at all!! None!! I have attached photos. I challenge anyone to respond to my review and point out where the cheese is.

Ready to get my nom nom nom on!!

Why did you guys close at 7:14pm on Saturday 9/7/2024!?!? Very inconvenient and the person inside just waived me off.

I asked on the phone what comes in the burrito. All she told me was carnitas and guacamole. I say ok can I add beans and cheese please. They said yes. That's it for my order. I come to pick it up, it's cash only I called in the order, it would have been nice of the person on the phone let me know that it's cash only so I can be better prepared. That was annoying. So I had to go to the ATM, get charged a ridiculous ATM fee. Then I confirm with the lady that the burrito doesn't have Pico de gallo because Im allergic to onions. She says no, but the guacamole has onions. I say oh I'm sorry, I cant take the burrito then. She gets upset, talks crap to her fellow co worker about my order, then I guess refires the order. I didn't know she was going to refire, as I kept asking her if she was going to do that, she didnt have to. That night, my mom gets sick and is throwing up. My mom believes she got food poisoning. I wouldn't doubt they probably did something to our food after the ladies bad attitude. Needless to say, we will not be coming back. Their carnitas were dry anyways. I told her I cant take the burrito

Adequate inside seating. Benches and stools had signs of wear and tear. Tears on the seats had clear tape over them. I have never seen taping of seats at any McDonald's until now. We used one of the self-ordering kiosk. There are 2 of them. Got one Breakfast Platter and one Bacon McGriddle plus one large Iced Coffee Caramel drink to share between the 3 of us. Food was fine. Drink could be better... it lacked some coffee flavor IMHO. Btw, if you want certain condiments like pepper, you'll need to specify it in your order. Otherwise, you'll have to ask for it after the fact. Staff was friendly and very hardworking. Just one lady working the front counter. They were very short staffed unfortunately. Hope they get more staff especially during lunch time. Good luck McDonald's!

We did not receive our food until about 1:03 PM. At least 23 minutes for a simple order. While waiting near the drive-thru area, we could see several order receipts being worked on, including #618, #717, #1024, and #5. The customer for order #618 had ordered before us and was still waiting even after we finally got our food. Meanwhile, I counted at least 10 drive-thru cars being served while lobby customers continued waiting. Around 12:50 PM, my 10-year-old daughter politely checked on our order and was told they would "start working on it now." By 12:55 PM, we still had no food, so I calmly asked if there was a problem with the order and was barely acknowledged. Another customer who had just walked in became verbally aggressive toward me in front of my 10-year-old daughter and her friend. Staff did not appear to notice or do anything to de-escalate the situation. When we finally received our food, the fries were cold and the ice in our drinks had melted. This was clearly a management and operational issue. A 20+ minute wait for fast food, poor communication, cold food, and an uncomfortable lobby experience in front of children is unacceptable.

If you're going to burger and fry it, this is the way! Price is a little up there, but your taste buds will understand why. The beef tallow fries were sooooo good. Crispy edges, fluffy center, ACTUAL potato. The garlic fries had bold fresh garlic and are cooked in avocado oil, but leaned a little soggy. Shockingly, I preferred the classic tallow fries. Husband and I split two doubles. The Garlic Mushroom Burger was juicy, savory, and loaded with mushrooms, pickles, American cheese, and garlic spread. The Flamin Smash had jalapeño, pickles, American cheese, and chipotle spread. Big flavor, gentle kick, & hella satisfying. Washed it all down with the Cucumber Lemonade that's sweetened with agave syrup. Not too sweet! I didn't catch the cashier's name, but he was super friendly and helpful. Cozy, clean spot with a patio on the side for extra seating. Service was crazy fast. This place is a bit far from me and I am already planning the drive back! That's how you know it smash-ed!

We were in Escondido after a long morning of thrifting and were pretty hungry when we stumbled…read moreacross this little hole-in-the-wall spot, and it turned out to be one seriously good find. Farm to Smash specializes in smash burgers and fries, and everything is made with a focus on quality. They cook in beef tallow instead of seed oils, use avocado-based mayo and spreads, serve fresh ground beef (we literally saw them grinding it), and even bake their buns fresh. It is definitely on the pricier side, but you can honestly taste the difference in quality. It is a small storefront with a few barstools inside, plus a patio area in the parking lot that is sectioned off with benches, so there is some seating available but it is still very casual. Now to the best part, the food! We started with drinks and got organic agave lemonade, one plain and one strawberry. Both were super refreshing and really good, though we probably should have asked for ice. For food, we ordered two double smash burgers: the Flamin Smash with fresh jalapeños, all-natural American cheese, pickles, and chipotle spread, and the Rodeo with bacon, all-natural American cheese, pickles, and original spread. Both were incredible. The burgers were perfectly cooked smash burgers with that great crispy edge, and the meat tasted extremely fresh with everything cooked just right. The lady at the front was also extremely friendly and kind, and she recommended the double patties as the way to go. Honestly we would have still been very happy and satisfied with a single patty. We also got a small fry and a small loaded fry. The fries are made from fresh potatoes, cut in house daily, and fried in beef tallow, which made them crispy and flavorful. The loaded fries came topped with all-natural American cheese, bacon, grilled onions, and we chose the original spread, and they were just as good as the burgers. The pickles were also amazing, super crisp and flavorful, and we honestly went back to ask for more. I am assuming they are made in house because they stood out that much. The ranch is also housemade, just like their other spreads, and has a dill-forward flavor that makes it stand out from typical ranch. Even though I am not usually a ranch person, this one was next level. I would have absolutely bought a larger container to take home if we were not heading out to continue thrifting. Total came out to about $58 before tip for two lemonades, two double burgers, a small fry, a small loaded fry, and a side of ranch. Overall, this place is a gem. It is not an everyday stop because of the price, but for an occasional post-thrifting treat, it is absolutely worth it. We will definitely be back.
