First time trying this place after seeing it so much and it did not disappoint! Super delicious food! I placed an order over the phone, so I was not able to dine in. But the place looked nice and I will definitely have to come back sometime! The main event for me is the Thai tea, it's in a very generously sized cup, and such a great price. Employees were friendly and hard working. Thank you!
Family in town so it's meet up time at Thai. Met up here this past Sunday. As always the food is awesome! We always order about five to eight dishes and share. Service is solid and the restaurant is comfortable inside. Good seating and love how clean and organized everything is. They serve beer and everything in the menu is absolutely delicious. Ordered the egg plant with tofu and crispy rice salad, satay chicken and veggie dish. Then rounded it off with Mango sticky rice and coconut ice cream for dessert!
This establishment opened 6 months ago and overall, great service and food. The place was spacious compared to the other Thai Thai places (they're not related to the other ones). They truly listened to the spice level on the food and even to the sweetness level of my drink. Will go back and try the other dishes. Go check it out!
Stopped in for a quick to go meal since we needed to get back home from running errands and I have heard good things about Thai Thai Cuisine. I was not disappointed. Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful, the restaurant wasn't busy only because we stopped before dinner time to place our order. Plenty of options available for any appetite. We ordered the pad see ew, pad Thai and mango sticky rice. Do not skip on the mango sticky rice. I'm obsessed and would eat it all the time. Portions for everything we ordered were large and easily became 2-3 meals after for me. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I would definitely come back to try more of their offerings! Bring friends and do a family style meal so you can try as much as you can on their menu!
Although the service was great and we really wanted to like this place, unfortunately it was disappointing. We got the drunken noodles, larb salad, spring rolls, curry fried rice. First the drunken noodles were soo dry, the larb salad was missing the minty refreshing taste and the chicken was off. The spring rolls were okay but the sauce was really bad. Nothing really stood out from this place we will definitely be sticking to our usual Chan Dara and in the lookout for new places in Esco.
The service was good. The decor was cool. The building is a bit old and outdated. The thai tea was good and the portion was huge! I'm really disappointed in the pineapple rice dish we got. We only ordered it because it came in a pineapple. When it arrived at our table, no pineapple. They should've just told us when we ordered. I know it sounds trivial but why advertise something you don't offer?
This place was 5 stars all around for me. The place was new and clean, staff so welcoming that it felt like we were actual guests in their home rather than a patron at a restaurant and the food was made so fresh and delicious. Their medium spice level is a 3 out of a scale of 1-10, super safe for those who don't know their Thai food spice level. Loved the food we had overall and would definitely return. Scarfed down their pineapple curry so quick! Their mango sticky rice is a standout dessert from other places I've had mango sticky rice! Highly recommend.

We love the cup of soup that they serve with it-- it's a nice light broth with vegetables. The little side veggies have a sort of sweet dressing that's really tasty with the crunchy veggies. The food is consistently delicious! Pad Thai has lots of peanuts which I love. The servers are so welcoming. Will be returning !
My favorite Thai food in San Diego. The food so bold and flavorful. My favorite is the soup Tom-kha soup and the duck curry. The soup is a great appetizer to start the meal and the bold flavor of the duck curry just carries the meal. The servers are all very sweet and nice; always checking on us to see if we need more water. It's a small Thai restaurant in Escondido with very homey and Thai feel to it.
I am so glad to see Thai Thai packed on a Friday night! Came for dinner last night around pique dinner time 6:30ish and arrived just in time to grab the last open table. The line was out the door for the rest of the evening with to-go orders and hopeful diners waiting for a table. While it took longer than usual to get our order taken and receive our meal, I didn't even mind. It's always worth the wait and the food was still top notch quality--something a lot of other restaurants may let fall to the wayside when their kitchen is backed up. As well, staff was so kind and generous to all the customers per usual, they handled the rush with grace and poise. Decided to switch things up and try the OB Woonsen with pork--AMAZING! A new fave I will absolutely add to my Thai food rotation. This has me thinking if they will ever open up their patio to add more seating.
This a new Thai restaurant in Escondido. The service was very good and staff were friendly. Clean restaurant and nice ambiance. They just opened up last month, (November 2025) . The restaurant was bustling on a Tuesday evening. They have a good selection on their menu and I wanted to try everything lol. We started with the Glass Noodle Soup with Chicken. We then ordered Chicken Thai fried rice, Pad Prik sod and Steamed Ginger Fish. The foods we ordered were all delicious and flavorful and we could tell it was made with fresh ingredients! We also ordered a Ginger Tea that came in a teapot which we shared and it complemented our dishes well. Their spice level on their dishes was a little in the high spicy level for me. We ordered a number three spice level on the fried rice and for me I thought it was quite spicy. Maybe for others not. We will definitely be back to try the other menu items.
I have been patiently waiting for this restaurant to open since we moved in & I am pleased to say that it was definitely worth the wait! My girlfriend & I came here for their lunch specials, which are an amazing steal! Fast, friendly customer service. Vegetarian Spring Rolls: Fresh! Thai Tea w/ Boba: This was a huge glass! Sweet & creamy. Fried Rice: Flavorful. Pad See Ew: Super tasty, a generous amount of noodles & beef, a must order! During lunch, they serve this entree with soup, salad, spring roll & gyoza. Be careful because their spice levels are legit spicy! Stick to a 3 for a perfect hint of spice.

We ordered papaya salad, Thai fried rice with shrimp, and pad see ew with chicken. Lots of flavor, hot, good amt of spice, and nice textures. Spice is on the lower end so don't be afraid to request 2+. I'm really surprised with how much I enjoyed the papaya salad. I would say the chicken was on the drier end, so I'd probably just order the shrimp instead moving forward. I ordered a Thai tea to try at the end. Huge like 32 oz for just 5$. 9/10 experience.

Finally a good Thai food place around Escondido! My best friend showed me this place on the way home from a shopping day in San Diego. I haven't had Thai food from a restaurant in a very long time, but I'm so glad that she took me here. Plenty of parking situated in a small plaza right off the 78. Service was fast & they were very accommodating! It was quiet and spacious inside, also very clean. I liked the decor! I ordered Chicken Yellow Curry with spice level 5 and she got the Pad Thai with spice level 3. I sort of regret getting the medium spice level, because the server warned me and she was not kidding! The spiciness was more noticeable in the curry, but it was still a very good curry! I would throw down on my best friend's Pad Thai, I tried hers and level 3 was perrrrfect! They also make the noodles really well & flavorful. It was a huge portion for both that we ended up taking our food home. I will definitely be back to try their Pad Se Ew! read more

Som Tam: 4.5/5 Papaya salad, it was good. While most places make it very sweet and more refreshing, the version here was a bit heavier. I would say it has more salt, fish sauce, and much more garlic. I found the flavor to be very addicting and the peanuts they use are always the cherry on top. Tom Yum Noodle Soup: 4/5 Shrimpy and sour, this soup was good. I just felt like it lacked a little more oomph. I wish they served it with a lime and some more condiments, but the jalapeño vinegar and sambar helped a bit. I loved every topping it came with. I'm sure if I asked them add more of a punch they could accommodate! Mango Sticky Rice: 2/5 This one was an honest miss. The rice was a bit too sweet for me and hard on the edges. The real killer was the mango. It was very not sweeten and a bit watery. It's not mango season, so I get it, but meh. Ambiance: It's a cute and clean restaurant. Nothing extravagant, definitely casual. Service: I went when it was empty, so service was very kind and attentive. I saw the employees interact with a to-go order and they were very very nice. Parking: Small plaza parking lot. Doesn't seem like it will get too busy but be prepared. read more

My go-to Thai spot that has all of my faves! The service is quick and friendly, it feels very homie inside the restaurant and is super convenient. Flavors are all good and haven't tasted anything I don't enjoy yet! The portions are a good amount with a lot of protein and I love the heart shaped white rice! :) read more

Great food, clean comfortable environment and friendly family staff. First time here and is definitely my new favorite Thai spot for North County. I had the Pad Thai with chicken, I asked for a 3 (or so) but man it felt like an 8. Still very good, the owners husband is the chef so consistency is going to be stable. Next time I may get plain and add my own, they have several spices (including ground Thai Chili's). We also got the pineapple fried rice, very good!! It's a family owned & run business. read more

Came here for the first time tonight and had a great experience! The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. They really make you feel at home! My wife and I bought Pad See Ewe and some Thai Fried Rice, all of which we loved. We also got to try teas and absolutely loved them! They were fruity milk teas...delicious! This place has really good portions and a well cooked dish! The pad kee mao was had a lot of flavor, chicken was tender, and noodles were on point. The Thai spicy scaling they have 1-10 is accurate for medium spice being 3. Service is good and nice. We were recommended the crispy jowl for an appetizer and it was really well seasoned and cooked! Best jowl I've had ever. Nice seating area inside. Definitely will come back. read more

This is a solid place to get a reasonably priced lunch in a hurry. The newly remodeled interior is clean and tidy and the service was enthusiastic and kind. The food was a good value, albeit a little bland. I'll definitely order more spice next time, and probably try some of the other dishes. Not bad! read more

My car broke down near this restaurant, and with no public restrooms nearby, I stopped in planning to buy something small so I could use the restroom while waiting for the tow truck. Instead, I decided to order the beef and broccoli for my husband. I'm so glad I did! The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and clearly made to order. The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming during what had turned into a very stressful day. Unfortunately, I didn't have any luck getting my car home that day. When I returned the next day to retrieve it, I came back to the restaurant because I had tried some of my husband's meal and couldn't stop thinking about how good it was. I ordered food for myself, and it was just as delicious--fresh, high quality, and full of flavor. Honestly, the best part of my whole car breakdown ordeal was discovering this restaurant. It has a cozy, family-owned atmosphere that makes you feel genuinely welcome. If you're looking for fresh, delicious food made with care and served by wonderful people, I highly recommend giving this place a try! read more
Searching for great Thai food nearby. Ended up at Thai Thai and I'm so happy I did! The spring rolls (vegetarian) were stunningly fresh and perfectly wrapped. The satay peanut sauce was yummy! Then came the yellow curry w tofu and heart-shaped rice. Absolutely delicious I don't say this often but the SERVICE was just delightful - as good as the food! Good news travels fast. My Thai masseuse at Yen's told me about the new Thai restaurant that just opened up. I haven't had Thai food in a while so I thought I'd take some home for dinner. Wow good choice. My husband, who also loves Thai food, was impressed. The food was delicious. The restaurant is very cute & open. The people there are delightful. Definitely our new place to stop for lunch when we come into town. The mangos & sticky rice need riper mangos. Other than that delicious. read more

This place hits the spot Lisa, our server, was very attentive and kind when we asked about certain items on the menu. We started with the egg rolls. Personally I don't like them, but my wife does. These are delicious! Tasted very fresh. I got the duck pad Thai and she got the beef and noodles soup. Both very rich in flavor and presented very well. The food was top tier and tasted amazing. 10/10 will come back again read more

Omg!! I AM SO GLAD this place FINALLY opened!!! Thai food is my favorite cuisine!! Our server was Lisa, she was SO friendly and sweet and patient w/ my husband and I ordering, she explained the menu options, and made conversation our entire time, you can tell the owners here are BIG on customer service, everyone is so friendly!!! ALL the food we ordered was soo good, flavorful, light, refreshing and so filling! Papaya salad /som tum - 10/10 = i'm used to eating sweet papaya salad, this salad was more flavorful, lots of lime for citrus flavor and more peanuts!! I love peanuts! Chicken wings! They gave a lot more than usual thai restaurants, and this was crispy, hot paired with their sweet & sour sauce. We asked Lisa if they have any spicy dipping sauce and she had the kitchen make (Jeow) spell check?? And it enhanced and elevated the flavor paired SO good woth the dipping sauce (i asked if I can buy a larger sized sauce for home, and she did!!) Panang curry was flavorful as well and they put a lot of chicken and shrimp!! Thai tea was great and they gave us a HUGE mug to drink it in, compared to other restaurants that have smaller serving sizes, they definitely do not skimp out when it comes their portions! Lastly to finish, we got the mango and sticky rice which was so good with their sweet milk, it's such a refreshing dessert because it still feels healthy. I'm pretty sure that Thai Thai is a franchise of sorts around San Diego County, but this was my first time at one of their locations. This particular location only opened in November or December of 2025, so it is still new. It is super clean and well-decorated, and I love how spacious and comfortable the booths are! All of the staff were so sweet. We came on a Thursday night a few days before Valentine's Day and there was a large birthday party, so I'm guessing that is why they were busy for a weekday evening. I'm sure the service is much faster usually, but the staff were still very attentive and the food was delicious! The Thai tea was so good! For only $5 (or $6 with boba), it is a pretty large size compared to many boba places and other restaurants. It is quite an extensive menu, and I will definitely come back to try other drinks, desserts, and dishes. The cream cheese wontons were hot, crispy, and delicious! I think that the sweet and sour sauce is made in house because it is better and different than the bottled stuff that other restaurants use. The pad see ew was so flavorful with lots of veggies and meat. The yen ta fo soup had the perfect balance of spice and sourness. You can customize your spice level and choose from four types of noodles. The portions are large enough for one person but also perfect to do family style. Beware, it is a small parking lot. From our window seat, we could see plenty of drivers struggling to park in the tiny spots. There is also street parking in the nearby neighborhood, but we got lucky with a spot. They also have a lunch special on weekdays, so I'm sure this will be a popular spot! Being the only restaurant in the small plaza, my guess is that parking turns over quickly. Overall, I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back. read more
