It's been the same thing for years off and on they are out of rotisserie chicken and roast beef as of the last weeks now I haven't visited this location in years but my dad loves their sandwiches. In my opinion they need a good service tech on the fridge all the veggies are frozen my poor cucumbers were so mushy by the time I got home. You have one young gal training another one who is beyond nervous and the trainer hates her job... you are to young to be that miserable. read more

Let's start by saying this is the only Subway in Galt, and I usually love Subway, so I hate even having to leave a bad review. Yesterday's experience was just not it. The two girls working seemed way more focused on whatever conversation they were having than helping customers. One of them was on her phone and looked irritated the whole time. The girl making our sandwiches didn't even cut the footlong in half right. My boyfriend's half was about 8 inches, and mine got the leftover. The sandwich was also thrown together pretty carelessly. Then when we went to pay, she charged us for 6 cookies when we only got 3. She did fix it, but instead of putting the refund back on our card, she handed us cash, which was kind of odd. Soda machine was down and they advertised broccoli cheddar soup and had bacon potato instead. Overall, it was just a really bad and unpleasant experience. Come to find out, we weren't the only people who had issues there yesterday. I really hope things improve as it is the only one in Galt. read more

We had a wait which wasn't a big deal it's almost closing time so there only two people on staff. The issue was that one of the employees dropped cash on the ground then picked it up and continued to make our sandwiches without changing her gloves. I feel that's basic food safety knowledge and I really hope nobody gets sick from this kind of behavior. read more

It's subway so you know exactly what you're going to get, or actually, maybe not because there were some new items on the menu like sliders and customizable salads... I have never had a bad experience at this location which is fantastic. The staff is always diligent , It's cute how you don't really know how many people are in the back until the place starts filling up and then help magically appears , love that! Never have to wait long , they always get my order right, I can see the food being made right in front of me. Everything is fine about this location my only small recommendation is just to do a little bit more deep cleaning under the soda and lemonade machine, make it shine :-) Thank you for being in Galt for a long time , we you Subway. read more

Came in tonight and Faith and Sean were working. It appeared Faith was the only one addressing anyone coming into the store, preparing orders and ringing them up with no help from Sean. Some customers left because of wait times and I honestly felt so bad for her. All I'm saying is this store would've gotten 0 stars if it weren't for Faith who stayed polite and didn't try to rush us even though there was a line of people in the store all while keeping a smile on her face. read more

I ordered digitally from this location, three sandwiches (each different meats) and not one was made correctly. I ordered at 10:35 in the morning, when I picked up my order, it was the only order in the pick-up station. There was one person in the restaurant ordering a sandwich, so not too busy, but due to the fact that I ordered "extra cost" add ons, I attempted to call the restaurant to let them know. I agree with Kristen! Extremely disappointing when it's obvious the employees don't want to be there or want to serve you. Stood there for 5 minutes while they walked around acting like they were busy. Thought I'd give it a chance once more, but now I remeber why I stopped. I have been to this location several times but today was different. Not sure if the person taking my order was new but didn't seem to know the sandwich menu. Had to repeat myself many times, mention items that were part of the sandwich. Used register/computer and then retrieved cookies with same hand. Purchased 1 ft long + 2 -6 in, 3 bags of chips and 12 cookies totaling $45. It's time to go back to the kitchen and make my own sandwiches. read more

No Stars!! I went to Subway today for the first time in a long while. The other sandwich shops have surpassed Subway in taste, freshness and appearance of their product, but I was in the area so I stopped in for a foot long. I requested the same as always, a foot long roast beef on white bread. To my surprise, the lady told me that Subway has discontinued roast beef. What?? She showed me this steak product that was a replacement, but it looked nasty. My first thought was: How could a sandwich shop discontinue such a staple product? How could a sandwich shop not carry roast beef? Subway is trying to reconnect with it's customers, but did not do itself any favors here. I placed an order through the website which is supposed to expedite my service. I am on a time limit on Wednesdays. I walked in two minutes after the order was supposed to be ready and it wasn't even started. It took an additional 20 minutes. What's the point of using the website to expedite order if they're going to fill in person orders first? Awful customer service! After paying she just walked away, well they have the divider thing because of covid. She left my drinks on the other side of it and walked away. I called for her to come back and she went into the back! I order the same wrap every time from subway, she tried to put two slices of cheese, "wraps come with 4" and the amount of meat for a 6" sub. Wraps have the same amounts as the 12" subs do. Basically paid for a 12" and got a 6" and she refused to add more meat with out paying more. Totally absurd. Went to Subway at 11:30a. They didn't have white bread despite being open since 8a. The child with us is allergic to most things therefore we asked if he could have flatbread instead. Initially, the worker said they couldn't do it bc they weren't able to ring it on the register. After telling we were going to go to another subway they accommodated us. Then the line was long. They ran out of green tea with honey and they had to make it. Long story short, be prepared before the lunch rush. read more

Ran in at 8:57 pm last night, not realizing they close at 9. A young man by the name of "Jose" was very polite even though he was sweeping up. He politely took my order for two foot longs and never once did he rush me. We didn't finish up until 9:08 but he never complained and wished me a good night out the door. Horrible: My son and I were starving. Pulled off the 99 hwy, to Taco Bell, but decided to eat a little healthier next door at Subway. Inside noticed the new menu items, awesome looking pepperoni flat-bread !, yum!.. But upon ordering, the worker, Seth, didn't know how to make it, (I understand new menu item, no problem) but then he completely SKIMPED on the toppings.. Little square of bread, a super small ladle of sauce that he didn't spread out, a pinch of cheese and two pieces of peperoni sliced into slivers and dropped on top, then toasted it. MY son told me I was getting ripped off.. And I am not the guy to complain in front of all the people line. (I should have in hind-sight) Then we ordered 2 sandwiches, "Veggie delight" and "Italian BMT" (I think). The gal made the sandwiches and asked if we wanted them toasted, I declined and my son said yes. Then we got rung up by the other women, and she asked if any of the sandwiches were toasted, my son replied yes, then there was a silence as the register's price increased. My son asked "Why, does that cost extra", she replied yes .43 cents.. WHAT? THERE IS NOTHING OBVIOUS ON THE MENU, THE GAL NEVER SAID ANYTHING AT TIME OF ASSEMBLY, AND THE CASHIER LADY WASN'T GOING TO SAY ANYTHING UNTIL WE ASKED.. WE FELT HOSED, THE WOOL PULLED OVER OUR EYES.. We eat at Subway regularly, and have never, ever heard of this.. In closing: The pizza sucked, the flat-bread turned all stale and chewy (after toasting).. Hard to eat, Seth couldn't cut through it, so in my car I had to tear it all apart.. (I took a picture but I cant upload it here).. All bread, no pizza My son goggled the toasting charge. The forum noted that Subway's are franchised and some locations charge .41 cents as a toasting tax.. (we were charged .43).. Just be warned, this is one of these locations.. skimpy, and hidden charges, we should have stuck with Taco Bell, or drove to the subway at the next exit! read more

My Husband ordered a footlong pastrami sandwich and normally, its two containers of meat. I didn't even notice that the girl only put one container of meat so my Husband went back and informed the girl of her mistake. She told him they use a "scoop" system (but I watched her use the white cardboard container) so she totally lied about that. The girl would not just give him the extra meat like he should have had, instead she gave him a refund AND took the sandwich back. Really??? We had to go through the trouble of driving back over and everything. We definitely won't be back. Poor customer service!! read more

Maybe I've gotten a little spoiled from another, more generous Subway, but this place likes to skimp on the goods. While I can see that portioning the meat is reasonable for business, I'm not all that pleased when they cut back on the veggies. To be sure, this doesn't always happen but it does happen fairly frequently. The staff is always friendly to me, so no complaints there. Every Time I've been here (2-3 times) their are new young faces who frankly don't give an F about customers.
