Lunch at In-N-Out really hit the spot. We stopped in on the way home from Sac. I have always loved In-N-Out and moving to the Rural area I live in means the closest In-N-Out burger is atleast an hour drive. This location had plenty of parking, and their drive thru line, though busy did not affect parking like in some other locations. We dined in - there was plenty of seating and in true In-N-Out fashion they were busy, we dined around 12-1pm and school must have let out early because a large amount of school aged kids started trickling in while we were eating. I went with the Double Double w/grilled onions protein style and animal fries. My mom & grandma got the cheeseburger with grilled onions, fries and a shake. Our food was hot and delicious when it came out, the staff was friendly and attentive. There were crew members cleaning tables in between guests. Lunch at In-N-Out totally hit the spot today. I went with a cheeseburger protein style (lettuce wrap, no bun) loaded up with extra veggies, chilies, and pickles - plus light-well fries on the side. Everything came out hot, fresh, and cooked exactly how I ordered it. That consistency is why In-N-Out stays undefeated. Yes, the drive-thru line here gets way busy, but honestly it moved pretty efficiently, about 15 minutes from getting in line to pulling away with food in hand, which is totally reasonable for peak lunch time. Shout-out to the staff at this location too - friendly, upbeat, and on top of things even with the rush. That kind of service always makes the wait feel shorter. Simple menu, done right, every time. The employees are always friendly and helpful. It hits the spot every time. I've never had a bad meal there. The restaurants are clean and vibrant. I have to say, I've been really loving In-N-Out Burger lately. Not that I haven't always liked this restaurant, because I have, but lately I can't get enough of the Animal Style Cheeseburgers with very light sauce. I love the flavor of the cooked onions on the burger along with the raw onions as well. I'm sure most people wouldn't want both types of onions but I like the sweet taste of the cooked onions and the crisp fresh flavor of raw onions. I believe the burger is cooked with mustard as well which is a good touch. The menu is pretty much simple. If you go to this place you're going for the burgers. So it makes it easy if you're buying for more than just yourself. I appreciate the fact that the inside of the restaurant is open until closing. Walked in and the place was busy but not packed - however it was very clean. The rep at the order counter was nice, polite and professional. I always do a special order. Animal style is my fav option - with eXtra grilled onions & regular/ raw onion slice(s) PLUS - loose the pickles ( vinegar kinda over runs the other flavors - so while a dill pickle is tasty - for me best enjoyed on it's own - not in a burger, hot dog, sandwich ). I ordered my fries medium well to check against my normal choice of lite well for the fries. So I ordered a #1 (Double-Double, fried and drink) . The order showed up in a bit less than five minutes, grabbed some ketchup, a quick picture of my fries, Double-Double and out to my car. So I got it to go so my pups in my car could enjoy dinner with me ( I usually give them some of my food ) . They of course love In-N-Out's burgers & fries ( tho gotta make sure they get no onion as onion is bad for dogs) The Double-Double was cooked perfectly and was so tasty. It disappeared down my throat so fast I pour pups only got a few bites of the burger but they did get quite a few french fries which they enjoyed. No soda for them only for me. I usually get a mixture of Coca-Cola with Diet Coke cause gotta cut calorie somewhere a little bit, but I love the taste of good old-fashioned regular Coca-Cola, especially from a fountain. What can I say? The dinner was perfect and my dog agreed with me too on that matter of fact, they want me to order them a burger, but I have quite a bit of food for them at home cause I cooked a whole chicken for them. The epitome of poor GenZ service. My fries were all about 2 inches long and extra crunchy (never asked for well done) like I got the bottom of the fries that had been sitting forever. Ok fine I'll look past it. The girl in the drive said my spread was in the bag. Was there spread? No. When she handed me my drink it was dripping down the cup and I looked at it kinda funny and she didn't pick up any hints that I didn't wanna touch a cup dripping with soda. I refuse to go back to this location after the cashier and manager embarrassed me over a counterfeit bill. I honestly had no idea it was counterfeit. At this In-N-Out Burger location, I had by far the best burger I've ever gotten from this chain. I can imagine that the product I received is exactly what originally earned this chain its great reputation: fresh ingredients, generously applied, a juicy patty grilled just right, toasted buns with a delicate crunch, and the special sauce in exactly the right amount. Very, very delicious! The fries were crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and perfectly lightly seasoned. On top of that, the staff was exceptionally friendly, and the interior was spotless--clean and well-maintained. I wish all their locations were as outstanding as this one. read more

The worst food ever - got food poisoning and Fernando, the cashier was simply RUDE! I couldn't get a simple paper bag to bag my lunch when I decided to take it out instead of eating in. No doubt, when the question is raised during a conversation, "Who has the best hamburger?"... most people exclaim, "Oh.. hands down, In-N-Out!" Well, this was me too until I walked into the iconically busy Lodi store yesterday. I closed my eyes and took a big bite of my hamburger and smiled, while thinking, mmmmm. Then I opened my eyes. I found myself frozen in time, looking at that mega famous burger. Suddenly everything around me slowed and all sound faded away. I was staring at a sham. Two soggy buns loaded with vegetables, smothered in "spread", protecting a thin, colorless, rubbery slice of ground beef. I could not take my eyes off of it. It was noticeably embarrassed that I was looking at it for so long. I was suddenly deflated... like a Cowboys home game gone wrong. All of these years, following what I thought was the GOAT Burger joint. Don't get me wrong, those veggies were tasty, but it's not why I open wide and take those slobbery carnivorous bites. I WANT BEEF!!! So, I shook it off and reached for my fresh Crispy fries to pull me back in. But this time I pulled up a soggy pale potato noodle. I looked solemnly into my fry boat and found an entire boatload of pale, seasick refugees from a hurried kitchen. When we were ordering the employee seemed very rude and kept cutting us off trying to rush us through. It was not busy just a good stream of people. I'm assuming there was a mess up in the car ahead of us because it took 5 mins to fix their order before we pulled up and was greeting by rude Shawn. So happy Lodi has an In N Out! My go to is a #3 protein style, no onions, add pickles and an extra tomato. Yeah, I'm extra XD I also love their shakes. Whenever I get one I get a neopolitan style. They aren't heavy to me and so so good. It's usually pretty busy whenever you come. There's lots of tables inside and some outside. They're pretty good about cleaning a table once it becomes available. The trashes are kinda a hit and miss. They get full fast, but they also over flow too which sucks. During this pandemic, I've noticed they really been on top of cleaning not just tables, the doors, the floor, the drink station, things people would touch. I've never had a big issue with the service. I always get greeted, and asked the normal questions. However this one time I went to pick up my food. My number was 28. I walked up since I heard my number, told them my number and the guy was all I didn't call 28. But he just called 26, 27 and 30. So I walked away. As I'm walking away I hear "28" so I turn around and look at him and said "28!?" And he goes "yeah..." hands me a small bag that only had fries in it. I ordered like two meals. So I go "this isn't mine" and he looked at me like I was completely lying! So I then say, nicely, "I didn't order just fries" so he looks at my receipt, looks at the bag, looks at me and goes "you checked the bag completely?" Bro! It's a small bag with JUST FRIES! Unless now you guys pack the burgers under the fries. I'm like taken back by this and so I go open the bag and show him. He calls to someone saying to them "yo she's missing food" that second dude looks and goes to his coworker "bro this isn't even hers!" I actually do find this kinda funny, but keep from laughing. My food was apparently given to someone else. They ended up giving me an extra fries and double double, lol and a bunch of apologies, lol. I like how now to get your drink from the fountain, it's touch less. You stick your finger between these sensors and your drink comes out. Same with the ice. The pink lemonade is still the same as it was back in 2019. Their secret sauce is amazing. It's pretty much like thousand island dressing, but In N Out version. You can also order stuff from their not so secret menu. Just Google it and it'll come up. The shake I mentioned earlier is from that menu. You can also get grilled onions, grilled cheese.
