It's spring break and azalea fest...so that worked out perfectly. We were greeted at the counter and the nice young gentleman asked if my daughter could have a cookie. Sure! Giant chocolate chips, so good. I ordered and they even offered me a coffee while I waited. I chose the Haley on a long roll. Nice crusty bread, fresh mozzarella, turkey, arugula and balsamic. Honestly, haven't had a hoagie that good in years. We also had their pasta salad, equally delicious. Plenty of seating inside, with a lot of cool photos on the walls. It felt just like being home. Can't wait to go back!

Why do they bother to list out ingredients when you cant even see them? all i saw picking it apart was the cheese. its oddly tasteless too. Clearly very poor quality produce used, any toddler could create a better sandwich id bet, if they cared not to pick out the cheapest poisons to consume. Egg sandwich sucked too. Flavorless mediocre antipasto salad. Desserts are so mediocre aswell. They stole the carrot cake I ordered. pound cake dry and flavorless. Trashy lays chips lazily thrown on as a side to everything. The "capri", the first thing im able to taste yet, the beef has a taste of raw tuna. Disgusting. Went into the trash. Along with all the money ive spent at this dumpster. The long rollon it has slightly better flavor than round roll, but is tough. Everywhere in wilmington ive been has been slightly less than mediocore, Mediocre ingredients everywhere, preperation doesnt matter at this point. even the "nicer" restuarants here. But this is just so so much worse. and oh the prices, the prices compelled me to write the review. Terrible service, I accidentally grabbed the wrong sandwich due to the terrible squeal the chef lets out. When I did, I was on the brink of getting splashed in a wave of diarrhea and urine, with how far the seams of his diaper had stretched. I guess he knows how much a customer can be peed on with the "food" they serve, and the seemingly good reviews they brag about getting in return.

The restaurant itself is very cute -- bright, open, and welcoming with a casual neighborhood vibe. The bar area stood out in particular, and the bartender was extremely friendly and engaging, which added a lot to the atmosphere. It's also clearly a very inclusive and welcoming place for the local community. Food-wise, there were some real winners. The street corn dip with cotija cheese was outstanding -- easily one of the best items we tried. Flavorful, creamy, and very well balanced. Several of the dishes were visually appealing and generous portions, and the menu has a lot of creative options that go beyond typical brunch fare. That said, there were a couple of execution issues. The eggs on the tots dish were inconsistent -- one was properly over easy while the other was cooked hard, which shouldn't happen on the same plate. Service from the table servers was also a bit underwhelming. They weren't rude, just not particularly warm or attentive compared to the friendliness of the bar staff. Overall, though, this is a solid brunch spot with a fun menu and a great atmosphere. With a little more consistency in the kitchen and more engaging table service, it could easily move into top-tier territory. Rating: 4 out of 5 Would definitely return -- especially for that street corn.

We were greeted immediately and were told to sit anywhere we wanted. Well made drinks, a pineapple mimosa and a spicy bourbon Bloody Mary...which was probably the bartenders first time making it with bourbon. They did well! Good menu, lots of good burgers, which hubs ordered the one with kimchi on it. 2 thumbs up. I had the tomato pie with a side salad. I'd get that every time. Our kid enjoyed her sweet potato fries and chicken nuggets. Our server was also great with our very extroverted daughter. There's a nice, little lounge in the back, that looks like it can be rented out for events. We will certainly be back.

Parked in the small free parking lot (limited 2hrs? Per main website of skyline center)…read more It was a little hard to find the front entrance since there are multiple doors. There was a sign stand on the ground. Made a left at the sign and walked a few steps down and made a right when I reached the small tree/bush to the double door entrance. Skyline Cafe is essentially a duplicate of Brooklyn Cafe. Owner was nice and welcoming like my last experience at Brooklyn Cafe. There were small tables in the cafe itself and some chairs with personal tables joined to the chair by the front entrance. There were also a ton more tables around the corner but looked like it was a cafeteria/lunch break area, separate from the cafe. Coffee beans are organic from Hampstead. Wasn't a big fan of the coffee (had a drip) but I enjoyed the Ollie's donut (cake donut made with mashed potatoes) and cheese and jalapeño Kolache (Czech yeast pastry) with sour cream. Flavors of the donut included coconut, vanilla, chocolate, lemon. The donut was perfect to pair with coffee. The kolache was warmed up after ordering and was filling. There was a display case with to-go items such as Chobani Greek strawberry yogurt, coconut overnight oats with strawberry chia seed jam, dragonfruit chia seed pudding with coconut milk, and the Kitchen Sink sandwiches. Bathroom is down the hallway by the health clinic. No changing tables or high chairs.
