a sub sandwich sitting on a table

Haven't eaten here in a year but decided to order 2 subway club foot long subs for pickup. Upon opening my sub and my husbands, I was very very disappointed with what I saw! The sub looked like there was nothing in it and I had to peak it apart to see what was inside. It is nothing like their advertised pictures nor is it anything like it had been in the past. They are definitely scrimping on product and I will no longer buy a sub from there. I will be glad to pay a little more and get a Jersey Mike's sub. Sorry but this is my true opinion.

The best costumer service in subway store in 11 years that I have living in USA was here - it was fast and clean - thanks Morgan - keep doing your job like this - you going to get a promotions in the future ----

Crystal the manager, stay away from this Subway location when she is working. Very bad service and the food isn't made to order

I have the app so when I arrive at the store it's waiting for me when I arrive. It's super easy and makes it easy to grab lunch on the go

The food and management are very delightful come her for a clean meal. The workers are field trained and it is nice to watch them learn.

Great place. I come here at least 2-3 times a week if not more. Typical of Subway. If you have been to one, you know what to expect.

Trust me, this place is not even close. The plus at the end is Jean Paul, our waiter. He was so great that by the end of the meal, I asked him if he was forced to work here after losing a bet. He laughed and said, "No." I put in an order for some fish tacos and a Huge double-decker Club sandwich. As stated, Jean Paul was an exceptional waiter, and as such, our food was out quickly and served as ordered. I went from the best fish tacos in Brevard at Island IX to the absolute worst, most foul fish tacos in Brevard, if not the entirety of the Sunshine State. The fish was mealy and tough enough to almost request a galloch knife to dine, the breading flavorless and the tortilla stale. Look at the pictures and tell me those look like they were made with fresh ingredients. The side of fries, while fried to a lovely golden brown, were bottom-of-the-barrel food service tripe and, unless you loaded them with salt, were flavorless. What a combo! Next up on the Big Boys perceptible palate was the Huge Double Decker Club sandwich. This was the saving grace and the reason this was not a Swill Alert. If I had stopped at the appallingly awful fish tacos, it would have been. However, this Huge Double Decker Club was delicious. The bread was toasted to perfection, the bacon was crispy, the tomato was fresh, the lettuce fresh, and the turkey was stacked high. All in all, this was a very good take on the sandwich that has been around since the late 1800s. The side of collard greens, however, is another story. Once again, you have bottom-of-the-barrel food service industrial-strength canned greens. Yuck. They were worse than the greens we got for school lunch. Those were actually not bad. The Big Boy says, "If you get lost out here and haven't eaten in three days, I would still skip this food wasteland."

I went there on Taco Tuesday, Unfortunately even though tacos were the special, they had no taco shells , hard or soft. Their collards had too much sugar . Fried shrimp appeared to have been breaded with grits instead of cornmeal. Hush puppies were raw in the middle. Their cook/chef must have been having an off night. Service was good Casual dining on the water. Will return to give a second chance.

We grabbed seats at the bar, and right out of the gate the experience was mission-ready. The girls behind the bar were awesome, friendly, attentive, and just had that effortless vibe that makes you feel like a regular even if it's your first visit. Now the food... wow. Everything came out fresh, hot, and absolutely dialed in. The burgers were stacked and juicy, the sandwiches loaded, and those sidewinder fries? Forget it. Crispy, golden perfection. You can tell nothing sat under a heat lamp, this was all cooked to order and launched straight to the table. Best way I can describe it given the location... This wasn't just good food, it was a full-on flavor liftoff. Like sitting a few miles from Cape Canaveral and watching a rocket punch through the atmosphere, everything about this meal just took off and didn't look back. Great people, killer food, laid-back atmosphere... this place hits on all cylinders. We'll definitely be back for another launch

When we arrived, we did notice the outside could use a little TLC, but once inside, it was very clean and tidy. We were immediately greeted by both the hostess and bartender, and they were very friendly. We were seated right away and our drink orders were taken quickly. It took us a few minutes to go through the menu since we weren't familiar with the restaurant, and there are quite a few items to choose from. We ordered the "Crack Mac Snack" (macaroni and cheese) and added pulled pork and the biscuit bread. The food came out quickly, and we were not disappointed. The biscuit bread was absolutely amazing, rich, soft, and delicious (maybe a little too generous with the butter on top, but still delicious). It's a thick, hearty piece, about two inches high and roughly four inches square. The mac and cheese was a generous portion and easily enough to share, and it was really good. The homemade BBQ sauce was also a highlight. The only slight miss was my husband's Coke, which wasn't very sweet, possibly a calibration issue with the machine. Overall, this is definitely a spot worth trying if you're in Cocoa Beach and want something different. There's a lot on the menu, and we'll definitely be back.

They had our tables ready, greeted us with smiles, and our waitress somehow managed to keep track of orders from a sea of adults and kids without needing a dry erase board and a therapist. Unfortunately... that's where the experience started taking on water. First off, my Corona arrived warm, which is kind of like hiring a clown who forgets the makeup. Technically the job got done, but something important is missing when you're stuck watching a sad drunk dude make balloon animals. Then we got our orders in.... And we waited. Actually we didn't just wait... we waaaaaaaaaiiiiiiitttttted. I'm reasonably confident one of the kids at our table graduated college before the food arrived. Then I flew to china, adopted another kid, sent them to med school, and celebrated their lifetime achievements before being graced with the presence of our food. When it finally did show up, it was... fine. It's bar food, and it tasted like bar food. Unfortunately, the extra 45 minutes in development didn't evolve it into a Michelin-starred masterpiece. Nobody at our table hated their meal, but nobody was writing poetry about it either. Now for the part nobody comes to Yelp to read... the bathrooms. Friends... these bathrooms achieved what I can only describe as the Three F's: Floods. Floaters. And Fecal matter. It looked less like a restroom and more like the aftermath of a natural disaster that FEMA had quietly decided to abandon. Maybe I'm weird, but I've always believed the restroom is the restaurant's backstage pass. If that's what customers see, I start wondering what the kitchen looks like when nobody's watching. Would I come back? Maybe... if I had just climbed off a floating tiki bar, the sun was setting, and my expectations were somewhere around sea level. Otherwise... I'd probably keep driving.

For my meal, I ordered Spicy Shrimp Tacos with no tortilla, and a side of fries. The tacos have Honey-chipotle grilled shrimp, pineapple salsa, siracha lime dressing slaw in it. All of the tacos/sandwiches are served with fries, sweet potato fries, or macaroni salad. The tacos weren't spicy at all but it was packed with flavor. The fresh slaw and pico complimented the shrimp. The fries were piping hot and they didn't need any ketchup. My mom ordered the Blackened Grouper Sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sandwich has remoulade sauce, Bibb lettuce, and sliced tomato. The sweet potato fries were cold, but they quickly brought fresher hot ones to the table. She loved it. Mike got the Chicken Sandwich with fries. The chicken is topped with chipotle mayo, cheddar, bacon, romaine, and dill pickles. Mike enjoyed his meal. My dad got the Samoan Burger which has two 4 oz. smash patties, pineapple-bacon jam, cheddar cheese, fried egg, dill pickles, romaine lettuce, and J. Bird sauce on a toasted bun and sweet potato fries. He enjoyed it. Lastly, my sister ordered the Crispy Chicken Tacos with macaroni salad. The tacos are panko-crusted chicken tenders, topped with pico de gallo, shredded romaine, and chipotle ranch dressing. She enjoyed both the tacos and macaroni salad. Since the sweet potato fries were cold they brought us 2 free desserts. We got the Dubai Chocolate Cheesecake & Pineapple Upside Down Cake. The Dubai Chocolate was delicious and had a delightful crunch from the pistachios. The upside down cake was warm and paired excellently with the vanilla ice cream. Overall, I would highly recommend checking out J Birds Island Eatery. Huge shout out to both Delaney, the hostess and Charlie, our waitress, for making our visit amazing.
